"We happened to see the flags outside and decided to try it since we hadn’t had Jamaican food for a long time. My first response was that it’d be too spicy. We met David the owner, and he grinned and corrected me and said “flavorful”. I now use that word in my vocabulary! We got the pulled pork and the non-alcohol pink ting soda (at David’s recommendation). Boy, was that a refreshing drink after that AMAZING flavorful smoky meat. My husband and I looked at each other and said we hadn’t had this good of a meal since we were in Seattle and had found the best Cuban sandwiches. This is in no way Cuban food but the excellence of representing a country’s cuisine is 5 star and above. The restaurant is owned and managed by David and his wife. David is US military, and we literally thank him for his service! Sorry it took so long to write this. We were there about a month ago. I’d say load up your family and friends and take a road trip. We’re from KC. Thanks David!"

"Nice cozy place with a decent selection of Italian restaurant. Pros: 1) the friendly and super friendly waiters and waiters. They literally circled around to make sure they took away all empty plates and utensils to maximize your table space. 2) Crockery was made from fresh ingredients, with delicate taste and the right portion. 3) The speed of the kitchen was also good. Cons: located at the southern end of the city center, so it is about 10 minutes walk from the central package. (Well, no street in downtown)"

"We were waiting for them to open and they came and let us in a bit early to be seated. The wait staff was super friendly and nice. The pizza was great. We got the garlic chicken and the meats pizza. We got a kids pizza and it was much bigger than expected. My son got the shrimp pasta and there was barely anything left because it was so good. We couldn’t resist the cheesecake which was an excellent choice. We are also in the pizza business so my husband had some questions about the pizza oven and dough. They allowed him to go back there and talked with the pizza chefs for a while. He said they were super friendly and answered his questions. It was an overall great experience! Highly recommend this place!! We will definitely be back when we come to Leavenworth."

"We had a red headed girl serving us. We had to wait over 30 minutes (mind you the place wasn’t busy. Had more available seating than not) to be asked what we would like to order because she was too much hiding behind the drink counter talking to 3 other workers. We stared right at her and tried to get her attention but she just ignored us. Hope she gets fired so we can come back to better service."

"If your visiting, or just driving through, you HAVE to stop here to get some brats! This is one of the best place to get brats in my opinion in Leavenworth. Not only are there brats good but I have never seen so many different mustard selections and they have a Apple spiced sauerkraut that is amazing! During October fest we waited over an hr just to get some. The beer selection is very good as well. Highly recommend this place ."

"It was a chilly evening and warm comforting bowls of great flavor sounded like just the ticket. Waited about 10 minutes for a table on a Wednesday night (did not make reservations). Once seated, service was swift and friendly and our dishes arrived quickly. Everything was wonderful (ordered the potato poppers, garlic bread, Hollywood broth bowl and Salmon rice bowl for the 2 of us) but definitely THE taste bud highlight was dipping the garlic bread into the Hollywood broth (coconut, ginger lime). Portions are so generous we enjoyed our leftovers for another full meal the next day. Will definitely return to Yodelin next time we're back in Leavenworth!"

"Sooo good! The spicy tomato oil and focaccia wonderful, the salads were good size, and in case anyone else doesn’t know pepitas means seeds and there are pumpkin and sunflower seeds in the green salad. I mention this because I am allergic to sunflower seeds and didn’t realize. I had the linguini and my guy had the porchetta, both were yummy! Service was great, atmosphere was calming. "Great portion sizes , friendly staff , and nice indoor and outdoor seating. Very welcoming staff serving home-style made-to-order fresh food and baked goodies. Seems great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The staff even got me an extension cord so I could charge my laptop and do some work. They have wifi. The only thing I would change is making more spaces for a coffee shop work space vibe with plugs ! But thank you for serving our mountain community."

"A really good Italian place near Leavenworth. We thought it was an early dinner because this place was next to our Airbnb compared to the city center of Leavenworth and boy we loved. We ordered the Focaccia (delicious bread with tomatoes dip), bruschetta (no words to describe how amazing this taste), roasted mushrooms (a MUST have appetizer) and smoked cod cake (super fresh cod fish came with an amazing red pepper sauce). I could all starters all day long they were absolutely delicious. For the Entrees we ordered the Papardelle and the Butternuss-Quash-Ravioli. The Butternut Squash Ravioli was amazing in this creamy sauce that only so many delicate flavors packed in. The papardelle with lamb kebabs was also great. The lamb kebabs were marinated in mild spices and the kebabs were cooked for perfection. For desserts we ordered the tiramisu, orange cheesecake and flan. All desserts tasted great and the Tiramisu was hands down the amount of favorite. We also ordered the elders Martini, who was a fresh and light cocktail. Service was great and although prices are on the higher side, you pay for quality and comfort. All in all, we loved our meal here and would highly recommend the people to give this place an attempt."

"It 's hard to list all the things I love about Harbor Lights. It has a huge menu! Best coffee in the area hands down not debatable! Susan always greets you by name when you walk in. "It's been a few weeks since I dined at Blewett on October 1st, but I can't stop thinking about the amazing pizza we had. The crust was perfectly crispy and the flavor combinations were delicious. The beer selection was also top-notch. The service was excellent, with our server Rita being kind and attentive. We even got to enjoy Oktoberfest celebrations and catch a ride to our next destination from Blewett. Such a fun experience! I will definitely be returning when I visit Leavenworth again. 10/10."
