"very nice restaurant with great food. my only problem was that I said at our original reservation that it was a very special birthday, so we can have the table at the kamin. I made the reservations months in advance when I also booked this inn. When I confirm, I mentioned it again and was told that they would make a note. then again when they called the day before I mentioned it and was told they would make a note. then I was told again that they would make a note. my thought was all the other comments! when we checked in after our reservation, we were a few minutes early and we said they couldn't check us in, as there were a few more before us. the tables were all literally empty, so not sure why we had to wait, but I said again, we should have the table at the fireplace and only then did the woman (which was not very nice) said they did not do any special table reservations! I had asked after 2 months and not one person said that before. also there were a few with a private table in the library all in itself, and the room is not part of the restaurant. why were they treated with a special table when I had tried to ask for a few months. that our dinner began very bad and was a special occasion that took me out."

"Talk about Jewel from Lenoir! Holy smokers... if you haven't discovered this place, the time has come. Kat makes some of the most amazing house made hummus I ever cost. As a vegetarian it is hard to find good quality foods that are delicious, and quality nutrition in restaurants. The protein dish and grilled cheese with fresh basil and tomatoes was excellent. My husband tried the Pimento cheese and I stole a bite and Wewzeeers! The atmosphere was something I never found since I moved from Charlotte and reminds me of the art crawling in NODA. This venue would be a great choice for relaxed wedding parties and even game dates. No joke on the upper floor was the funniest one. Bring your vinyl and turn some records, or sit back and color with the kids. Board games and a super funny beverage ordering tube system to supply drinks is just the beginning!"

"Food was the bomb! My granddaughter and I ate here for her birthday I had a burger so good and not dry she had the tomato bisque we dipped pub chips in it yum! They offered banna pudding and coconut cream pie but didn't have either so we had German choclate cake it was so good and moist our server was great!"

"we ensured the high time of my sister and while everyone enjoyed the ceremony, of which they really spoke, was the food! we had brisket, grilled chicken, green beans, Mac-n-chz, salat and roll. if they are looking for a great place to order food from or a catering event, they do not see any more serious perkz doesn’t disappoint! 5 stars again and again!"

"This is their MOST AMAZING Chicago style pizza EVER! Authentic and beyond your expectations. We drive a Hr 1/2 to get this pizza. The other one is in Chicago. They bake the bread every day fresh and everything served here is just wonderful. The owner and the staff are the BEST!! "The food was excellent, as always, but our server was new. SOMEONE added an additional $5.00 tip to the bill after returning my card to the table and turning the bill in at the register. But of course no one can understand how it could have happened or who would have done such a thing. Hint:: Check your cards and receipts. I didn't think it would happen....but it did!"

"Review updated. I previously rated 5 stars. My last 3 experiences have changed my mind. Tonight things were left out of our to-go order and they didn't put any cheese on the acp. When we walked back inside they did replaced 1 of the things missing. They refused to even look at the acp to see they left the cheese out, insisting they put cheese on the acp. They did not. They were rude about it. They refused to make our order complete after we just spent $50 on the food. I have left only a few bad reviews but they earned this 1 star with repeated terrible customer service."

"I started with a Cuban coffee that was perfect. It was strong, bold and sweet all at the same time. I had a cuban sandwich with a side included of tostones. The sandwich consists of pork, ham mustard and pickles on sour dough type bread cooked in a pannini press. The outside was crisp with the telltale lines from the press. The ham was mild as was the mustard. The pork was juicy flavorful and velvety tender. The pickles were a disappointment. They should have added a vinegar tang but just didn't add to the dish like they should have. The tostones were perfectly cooked, crisp, warm and slightly salty. They were served with an unusual to me sauce which was a clear broth with smashed garlic in it. I ordered a piece of chocolate tres leche cake to end my meal. With another coffee of course! The server delivered a slab of home made cake that was moist and flavorful. The saturation of the 3 milks was evenly distributed and not too dry or mushy. I have to mention my server. A young woman who was neat, clean and most importantly just the right mix of attentiveness and cheerfulness. She made me feel as if I was guest at her family home. Related to the owners? Either way she did a great job rounding out an almost perfect meal. I would travel back to Lenoir just to eat here again."

"That's what I was hoping for! When I came from Tampa, FL, I had to have a good land breakfast. The staff was very pleasant and the food was excellent! The best cookies with sausages I've had for years. Very good prices too! I'm glad to go back before my trip to the south."

"great place, but my god is busy and waiting times can get up there. order them ahead when they will be there between 11-1 in the week and not even dream of getting a table because this place is popular. the dogs and sandwiches are awesome, the pommes are good, and the personal really tries. the only reason I give less than 5 stars is the order/maintenance/picking system does not exist and had me waiting for 30 minutes before my order to be ready and no one called out my name or order number. it's just a mafia of people in the register that some have ordered, some waiting for it. from the top of my head I would suggest to paint or tap a few lines on the floor to a low narrow bank down on the curse for people waiting for pickup. a screen, a white board or a chalkboard list that are ready to give up, it would also make much better for the midday/take process."

"I ordered my food through the mobile app. I had built up quite a lot of reward points, so I was able to redeem them for a deluxe chicken sandwich, fries, and a sweet tea. I didn’t have to pay a cent, and since I picked carryout, I literally parked, walked in and grabbed my food which was already waiting for me, and went out to my car and began to eat. Super convenient. "Price on the menu board did not line up with what I actually got charged. $3 more than what the menu board read. I know they have a combo button on the POS. but I was charged for each individual item separately. SERIOUSLY? Fries were hot as usual but the fish filet was cold and the edges were hard. Unusual for Arby 's. O well, can 't win them all..."

"Great food, very busy day today there was only one place to sit down when we arrived....the owner waited on us. I didn't even have to ask for a refill on my tea...he brought it before I finished it. The building is older but it is nicely done one the inside. If you are traveling and have time to stop for meal you should check it out."

"No plates for the salad bar and upon asking the host I was informed That 's not my job waited and still nothing. Shouldn 't be that difficult to obtain a stack of plates. Had it removed from check. Food arrived lukewarm and was told no baked potatoes but not before setting food down. Lenoir is limited for choice but this establishment is at the bottom of the heap in quality and service."

"We had a date night here this past weekend and we really enjoyed our food. There was no wait to be seated and we got a nice seat in the window. There were plenty of options to choose from but we went with the fried pickles for an appetizers. My fiance tried the waygu cheeseburger and I had the chicken and steak kabobs with all 3 of the vegetable kabobs to go with it. I even added the brown sugar to the pineapples and it all was very good. Our waitress was very attentive and was happy to help us decide on what to order. The wait was a little bit on the food but I would definitely recommend going here."

"Saw this restaurant as we were passing by and decided to stop in on the way back. I wanted some great seafood but great was not what I found with a couple exceptions. Our greeter did not greet us she grabbed a couple menus and walked away. My wife gave me a nudge to follow her. For a seafood restaurant, I found the menu had limited options types of fish. I chose the fried platter which had perch, scallops and shrimp. The scallops were small but they were cooked just right. I was disappointed in the batter they used, it was completely void of taste! I usually do not season my food but I had to in this case. I did like the hush puppies tho they were very tasty and served in a unique way. Our waitress was efficient but not very friendly. At the end of the meal, she left the order ticket and disappeared. No explanation, no total amount and after sitting awhile my better half took the ticket up front and paid. I would not recommend this restaurant. I have other reviews on Google, click follow and see if one helps you on your next adventure!"
