"You might not think of tacos as a dish served gourmet, but Oteo elevates the typical concept to a unique experience any foodie can appreciate. Good atmosphere, good service, good price, good food. I have eaten at Oteos previous locations and wanted to introduce my friends to my favorite place for gourmet tacos. At our server 's recommendation, my friends ordered the empanadas which, admittedly, are very different from what I 'm used to as they are open empanadas. But still delicious. My friends were raving about the meat and the hint of lime. I had the sopes, also delicious! I 'm glad to see the plantain dish still on the menu from when I 've eaten at Oteos before. It 's rich, almost dessert-like. For me, a very unique and absolutely delicious variation on the classic plátanos fritos. My friends were obsessed! The only two critiques I had were with the cheese appetizer which had an off flavor I couldn 't pinpoint, and the delicious custard in the cronut was a little overpowered by the lack of flavor in the dough. But the outer texture with the sugar was perfect and the custard, when tasted on its own, had a delicious vanilla flavor. My friends loved that as well!"
