"My first time in this restaurant to eat. The ambience is amazing inside and outside with views of the beach. Located in Long Branch NJ is a beautiful quiet, very relaxing place to be. I was there two weeks ago before the mess happened. The food is delicious and the service is good. The neighborhood is beautiful and very modern. A lot to do from hotel stay, shopping, eating and eating. It is a good place to spend your day."

"when we arrived, it just started raining outside, with a big storm coming. we said we couldn't change the reservations to eat inside. many thanks to lola the hostess who actually managed it was wonderful. I brought us in, had a wonderful meal, eating was fantastic. dennis, our waiter was great."

"I love this location. Always prompt, hot and excellent customer service. I have had some problems with my orders when I order through door dash like the food is all thrown around, but no issues when I go in to eat or get take out. The messed up orders through door dash are most likely due to the door dash employee improperly handling the order. I recommend the hibachi steak and shrimp! Amazing!"

"My husband, who is Greek and I myself, drove a very long way to get to this restaurant, because last summer we have been up here and the portions were generous and the food was really good. To say that the word disappoints does not even describe my feelings. The salmon does not smell fresh, the part was the size that my four-year grandson would eat and the grilled vegetables thrown together and cold. I asked for a sauce because the food was as tasty as cardboard and I got a watery salad dressing that was again cold. Overall, the experience was terrible and I will never come back to this restaurant. When we finally came home after an hour, I had to make my husband a sandwich because he was hungry. I also felt hungry, but I felt too sick to eat because I am convinced that the fish was old. I don't understand how the food could be so different within four months, maybe its seasonal restaurant and or the chefs change due to the season, but it was just a terrible dinner and unfortunately also next summer I didn't eat here because the memories are really bad now. I'm so sorry because this time it was really a terrible experience."

"This place was absolutely fantastic. There are some good Mexican restaurants in this area and these definitely rivals the best. Beautiful place beautiful ambience great with her family parking is a little annoying, but not a big deal and the only reason why I didn't have five stars I thought staff was just a little shorthanded so some things took longer, but I really can't keep that against them I am not working with everything and people now. The lower line big place do a favor give him a shot you won't regret it and it's BYOB that is always a plus."

"I was very disappointed in the scallops entree. Scallops were small and the wild rice tasted just like Uncle Ben's. The plate was presented unappetizingly with no greens or fresh element. It was very expensive and something I could have done better at home. The other person in my party had the shrimp ravioli special which was a good meal."

"Our first sub par meal was Tuesday 9/6. Restaurant was quiet. We ordered an appetizer, waited 20 minutes and it was served barely warm. We said something to a manager. Our entrees were served hot and were very good, not great. I love the espressocreme brulee. It was served cold. Just disappointing. When we made the reservation, they asked if we were celebratinganything. We told them it was my birthday and they never acknowledged it. Why ask then?? No excuses for this. There are too manyexcellent restaurants in the area."

"This is a very cute cozy place with great food atmosphere. After watching a buffalo ceaser wrap review on instagram(megthings_)we drove 45 min to get there with a very little hope! BUT I WAS PROVED WRONG! The food was fireeee !! We will definitely visit again just to eat there! Good Portion size (one order of buffalo ceaser wrap can easily be shared by 2 people) (small-$15) comes with side of macaroni salad and a pickle employees are soooo friendly and well behaved (10/10) I would give 1000 stars if I could !"

"Really cute classic NJ diner in long branch. My family and I came here after the NJ marathon, and got lunch. We were sat promptly and given ample time to enjoy our coffees and warm up from the wind and chill. The breakfast food here is great! The French toast is huge! And the eggs are cooked well. My mother had the club sandwich, and that was also nice. All in all classic diner for those passing through the area. Will return!"

"Brought a big and hungry crew in from Minnesota and Michigan for a day at the beach. We didn't have time for one of those fancy tourist places along the waterfront. So a quick search of Google gave us Rockafellers as an option. Not knowing what to expect, we called they got our whole crew in right away. Awesome pizza from an actual neighborhood restaurant (not a chain). Great and friendly service. They made us feel at home. Tonight wound up being one of those happenstance finds. A great place where we had fabulous food and a fun way to close out a long, tiring day at the beach and close out a week's vacation in unexpected fashion. We want to come back sometime!"

"3/2- I was at 656 last night for a retirement party. It was delicious. The food was amazing and the service was fabulous. Our waitress, Cynthia was the sweetest. She was so friendly and helpful. She recommended the Tomahawk steak and it was so tender and cooked to perfection. Thanks to the owners, the Epsteins for the complimentary dessert. We will definitely be returning."

"I really enjoy Rooney's restaurant. Whenever we are in Long Branch, we always make sure to go there. However, if you don't have a seat with an ocean view, the experience is not as good. I specifically choose Rooney's for the ocean views, so I find the dinner menu to be lacking. The food is quite pricey for what you receive. Personally, I think their lunch menu is better."
