"The food and service were both excellent. Ther prices were very reasonable. The chimichurri chicken was excellent, the Chicken Cobb Salad was excellent as was the Steelhead Salmon over a bed of cold quinoa. The salt and pepper shrimp was very flavorful."

"I made a lunch reservation for my friend's birthday, and there were of us. I was on my lunch break, and unfortunately, even though we ordered quickly, it took a long time to get my food. I ended up being late for work, and shoveled my food in, plus the course dessert. I had to bring the rest of the entrée with me, since I was so rushed. My friend received her birthday dessert with a candle, after I Left, which was disappointing to me, since I had left already. And, my redfish entrée was actually not very good. I usually love but this was not the best experience Ive had"

"We love Hambone. It’s definitely nice people working there. The building is cute on the inside, but the outside seating is the bigger plus. There’s a good amount of vegetarian options for the area, and fun specials on the regular. I always get the chip and dip it’s like a lima bean ‘hummus’ but there’s something about it, plus the plantain chips ? also pictured: remy sandwich, mac and cheese, tomato sandwich, cinnamon roll, “chocolate bar” special (incredible), cocktail flight, and a satsuma salad special (whipped feta, char pickled cauliflower, buttermilk citronette… so good)"

"Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Ambience has always been great, but under new owners/creative chef, Nuvolari’s has taken off. Menu is exciting, with specials and seasonal changes. Wine list is extensive and fairly priced. Same for wines by the glass. Service staff is knowledgeable, accommodating and efficient. Having the General Manager on the floor helps with the service. A"

"At the first visit tonight was a small interior with really beautiful decorative pieces. Our whole food was cleverly plated and served by friendly staff, delicious portions were fought for us, but above all thanks to one of our waiters, who gave my friend a mango and sticky rice dessert for her birthday. Well done Sawasdee! The photo is from her crab wash, Bangkok wings and steamed dumplings with shrimp and chicken."

"Incomparable beer selection right at home, I don't think I could find a larger selection on the northern shore. It's gonna be very loud inside if it bothers you. I correct my review as I had some negative experiences a few years ago, but the last 3 visits last year were excellent. The crew is much more attentive and professional."

"4 of us went for lunch on Saturday it was busy but Dezi, our waitress was excellent. She handled it with ease. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive which we understood due to the crowd. But what happened to the food? Both the quality and the quantity were horrible. I had the fried chicken sandwich and I thought they were doing an old Wendy’s commercial with the old lady where’s the beef in my case chicken. If there was 2 ounces of chicken that was a lot. I didn’t realize you could cut chicken that thin and I think they counted the red onion slivers. And with tax and tip that’s a $19 for bread. We’ve been coming here for years and years. But the last few times the food quality and a fair quantity keeps going downhill. Also the hamburger tasted old We won’t be back for a long, long time."

"Discovered this off-the-beaten-path diner while passing through Covington, LA, and was thankful that I stopped to give it a shot. Easily one of the best breakfasts I 've had in YEARS. Their menu had 'Schnitzel! ' Who has SCHNITZEL in South Louisiana? So I had to order it. HUGE portion. Two eggs (scrambled, with cheese) on top. A side of breakfast taters. And a massive 'Grilled Biscuit. ' BOOM! Everything was fresh and delicious and cooked with Southern-fried love. So much food I had TWO whole meals from one order. Crazy Pig is no joke. It dropped an elbow on me and I was down for the count. Definitely looking forward to a rematch!"

"Food was delicious. Unfortunately we waited 20 min before anyone even came to our table... Which we had to call one of the waiters over. We waited 35 min to receive our first drink which were terrible (worst old fashion my husband ever had). There is No excuse for how late someone came to our table to acknowledged us. The establishment is not big and there were atleast 4-5 empty tables. Like I said food was delicious and maybe we will come back at another time."

"Very delicious breakfast! But they were very crowded, narrow spaces for tables, bar seats and even just walking around. They left four persons next to two seats at the bar next to me. The woman next to me took my elbow and table for a single drink? I wish they didn't let them stand like that, it was very disrespectful. Apart from that, I loved my French toast! It was very fluffy, tasteful and delicious. My husband's hot sausage was the best of the whole order! Should I? ve has one too. And the cheese sauce doesn't even say that it had meat with it, it was a pleasant surprise. It was a bit waiting, but understandably so with a full dining room. I would definitely come back, but we have to plan until we don't wait and starve."

"Not good? We were Saturday 9 July. No person in this restaurant made sure that the order was correct or wrong. Margaritas were very watered. Bartender didn't care that it was the wrong drink order. She shrunk her shoulders and put them on the table. It didn't matter. When the wrong food was brought, we told the guy. We ordered a chicken dish. He was waiting for us to take the beef. When he realized that we wouldn't accept it, he turned around and frustrated. Half the people in our party didn't get what they ordered. We paid for food that never brought it to the table and at that point we were not interested because we just wanted to get out. The food was simply beaten up and was not appetizing. I threw my left because dinner made me sick. This restaurant seemed to be supervised by a bunch of children without adults. They even rode in the kitchen over the dishes that were cooked. This restaurant has no complete communication. I'd never eat here again."

"Everything was prepared presented nicely...although everything we ordered (except bisque) needed salt...the sauteed crab claws were huge loaded with garlic...Crab corn bisque was really good...The eggplant sticks were good with the red crab cream sauces...I had the lasagna but I'm not a fan of an all sausage version...it may have had beef, but I couldn't tell...all I tasted was the sausage. Our server was attentive took really good care of us...I'd come here again ?"

"We placed our food order, which arrived promptly and was accurate. While we were eating, the table next to us ordered a Dos Equis lager on draft, and their server promptly brought it to them. The food was good, but after finishing, we waited 25 minutes before I had to track down another waitress to get our bill and to-go boxes. When our original waitress dropped off the bill, she carelessly stacked the dirty plates right on top of the food we wanted to take home. The bill was hard to read due to faded ink, but the dollar amounts written on the side were a bit clearer. A total of $64 seemed off, but at that point, I just wanted to leave. Once home, I calculated what we actually ordered, and the total didn’t add up — I was charged for the beer I never received. Having worked in various roles in the restaurant industry for many years, I believe that customer service is just as crucial as the quality of food. The service we experienced here was awful and significantly diminished our dining experience. It was very disappointing."

"If you are looking for gorgeous sunset views with fine dining and a great atmosphere, this is the place to checkout. I had no reservation, but the manager took care of me anyway. The sunset views were stunning far while I ate my meal out on the front porch deck with two long stairs cases going down on both sides. You could tell you were close to hurricane weather because all the buildings are up on stilts here right next to the water front. I had a good talk with the manager who retired from the hotel industry, and this is his retirement plan that married the owner late in life. They both love the place you can tell by the decor and atmosphere. I did find out that hurricane Katrina took the original building down, but they rebuilt it back. The restaurant has been in business for over 100 years. I had the grouper fish with shrimp for the main course. The sauce was made from scratch and was very creamy. I loved it! The green beans were seasoned different than I have ever had but very good. I also had the potato salad now that was a delicious treat with some Coleslaw in it. I topped the meal off with the cream Brulee that was browned to perfection with a strawberry and whip cream on top. Do I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely! Why? I recommend this restaurant not just for the amazing sunset views, great food, or staff, but the location and story of the restaurant. So, what are you waiting for ? Don't take my word for it go experience it for yourself today."

"I ordered from the catering menu for a Christmas party for about 45 people. The food here is so so delicious! Everything we ordered Lasagna, chicken Alfredo, chicken Parmesan, eggplant casserole and the Caesar salad are the best we have ever had! Everyone commented about how great the food was! If you’re having a party Bosco’s has the best catering menu meals for your event!! And the staff is very friendly and nice to do business with!"

"Let me start by saying I will not return here to eat again. We were seated promptly and our drink order was taken. We asked the server what he recommended and when he said chicken strips, I should have known something then. I started off tasting the red gravy (marinara sauce). It was very good with a hearty flavor with a touch of sweetness. We ordered mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. They are not homemade, but they are some of the best frozen mozzarella sticks i have eaten. They were cooked with a good crispy outside and the flavor was very good. For the meal, we ordered a supreme pizza. The pizza came out promptly, however it wasn't great. All the toppings were in the middle of the pizza. The crust of the pizza was crispy but the center was undercooked and soggy. I was unable to hold my pizza and bite it because it just flopped over and everything fell off. The taste off the pizza ingredients is next to discuss. Let's start with the dough, it was okay but not great. There was an after taste left in your mouth from the bread. It was a bit tough to chew and had a powder like coating. The mushrooms had a very strong taste while being chewy. The worst part were the green bellpeppers. They were not cooked, being in the center of the pizza in a pike. It was like they were soggy and had been sitting in a liquid of some kind. Our serve never came back to ask how the food was, if we needed drink refills, or to offer a togo box. We had to ask for our ticket. Another server came by to ask how we liked our food and we were honest. We were told to come back on certain days when another cook was in because his pizza dont come out soggy. However, we will not be back for a 2nd round. This place has the potential to be a great place, the red gravy (marinara sauce) is very good but the service and pizza needs to be improved."

We had an empty glass of ice and water for 15 minutes while five more employees were standing around the waiting station. Other than that, everything was pretty good. I would definitely return.
