"We were in Marshall for a softball tournament and had seen good reviews on the web. We went by after a game and made it 1 hour before they closed. We had an unbelievable porkchop, some ribs that were fantastic and a chile dog that had homemade chile that was really tasty. Boy, was it good. The BBQ sauce was also very impressive. The husband/wife owners stopped their closing up routine and took great care of us. Will be back there in a week for the World Series if our girls continue the winning. And I'll be back at the Pic-N-Pay."

"It was very busy the night we ate there. You could see the staff was extremely busy. Our food was very good and even as busy as they were the staff managed smiles. We were only a little miffed about desert. When we ordered we were told they would bring it when we were ready so as we were finishing dinner my daughter went up to the counter to let them know we were ready. A long while later we see what we thought was ours coming. The waitress passed us up and delivered to another table. The people looked confused, said a few words to the waitress, smiled and the the waitress returned to the counter. After another 15 or 20 minutes the manager comes by our table whispers in my ear that she thought our food had been given to another table and returned to the counter. Then we hear out waiter say I told you it was the wrong table! We did finally receive our order and it too was fabulous."

"Always good food no matter which dish.It so helpful when server informs client that dish they ordering is on lunch special ..but this one did not. Charged her full dinner price.Manager is so great he will make it right my next visit. Boots ready..says I go next time!!!"

"we first stopped eating. we had cheeseburger, tweebel rings and fried green tomaten. the hamburgers were juicy and loaded with good vegetables. the woofer rings were homemade and simply wonderful, I had not long fried green tomato and they did not disappoint me. I would recommend this place to everyone."

"Simply amazing! Service was on point and the restaurant itself is neat and organized. The food is phenomenal among the best pizzas we’ve ever had! I was already going to leave a 5 star review when the owner, Giuseppe, stopped by to make sure we were satisfied. He explained how all the pizza and pasta are made fresh in house and even their prosciutto are freshly cut! If I’m not mistaken I think their tomato sauce is also imported straight from Italy. Giuseppe also has his own line of red wine produced in his Italian vineyards, and we can’t wait to try it for ourselves ."

"We found this restaurant by chance. On arrival we were concerned that we were under dressed, but the host assured us that we were fine. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece with many historical peach . The service was impeccable and the food was even better. We enjoyed a beautiful bottle of wine together with a wonderful Red Snapper. I enjoyed the Pasta Jambalaya. Trust me. Order the Venison appetizer. It's soooo good that you want to order it as a duck. We had the chocolate cake for the desert to complete the perfect dinner. I hardly take the time to write a review, but this is definitely worth my time because it is small businesses like these that make America a great place that it is. We can't wait to come back for another visit. Make yourself a favor and make it a point to enjoy this fabulous restaurant Do not regret it I promise"

"Super chill cafe in the heart of downtown Marshall. Art covers the space, folks were enjoying their coffees like it was a Saturday morning routine, and they were playing Bob Marley when I walked in. I got the bagel with cream cheese, bacon, and tomato. The bagel was a bagel from a bag, Lender's style, so not artisan by any means, but it was fine. The cream cheese, bacon, and tomato all went together well. My oat milk latte was tasty. The prices were right, in and out including tip for about $10. The staff was super friendly and the girl at the counter asked how to spell my name to make sure she wrote it down right. I liked the vibe of the place while I waited for my order, I could easily see losing a few hours in a book here."

"Actually a very nice place with good food. We were traveling and very hungry and wanted a place to sit down. However, we found out there was nothing on the menu my wife could eat. Rather than leaving, my wife nicely agreed to let my son and me stay and order a good meal and she went and grabbed a veggie sub from next door and came back to sit with us while we ate. As we were paying, a very rude person (owner? came out from the back and chewed my wife out saying she wasn't allowed to bring in other food. She asked for no explanation or reason... Just angrily insisted we were being discourteous. Guess she would have preferred if we had all left instead of giving her the business we did. Won't be coming back"

"Honestly I wasn't that impressed with the catfish basket that I ordered. The fish was a little overcooked. There hush puppies were rock hard and dry. The Cole slaw tasted like it was starting to turn sour. The fries were okay. And I didn't really care for the house made sauce all that much I added tobasco sauce to it to give it a little kick and still didn't like it that much. And it was almost fifteen dollars for the basket of crummy food and a drink so I probably won't return."

"I 've eaten there twice now, once for a Volunteer Appreciation breakfast the other for lunch. There were about 30 people our breakfast, quite the crowd!! We did a family style breakfast, it was absolutely delicious!! For lunch I had a cheeseburger sweet potato fries... It was one of the best hamburgers I have ever had!! The service is fabulous the prices are great! Already planning more lunch dates... :"

"Salad was overdressed in thousand island dressing. Crab sushi didt show up til part way through main course after i went to the counter to remind them. Chicken salmon hibachi dinner had bite size pieces of overcooked dry chicken. Salmon was tasty. Rice done nicely. Vegetables were unappetizing, with rock hard carrot and broccoli pieces, rough cuts of zucchini. Husband had shrimp and scallop hibachi. Shrimp was good but scallops were a bit rubbery. Veggies were also inedible. Salad also overdressed. For the pricey meals we expected better. Not a wise choice for our 42nd anniversary. Oh well."

"I recently had lunch at this restaurant and tried the Swiss burger. The staff was very friendly and the overall experience was excellent. "I called ahead to place an order for takeout. When I arrived to pick up my order, I encountered a blonde girl at the front who was somewhat rude. I requested a paper menu to take home for future orders, rather than relying on the online menu on my phone, but she refused. Despite this, I ordered a deep dish pizza, only to discover when I got home that it was actually thin crust. While the food was tasty, I was disappointed not to receive what I had ordered. Because of the unfriendly service and the mix-up with my order, I don't plan on returning to Guccis in the future. I'll stick with Dominos or Pizza Hut instead. I have no tolerance for impolite staff."
