"The girl that takes your orders front table wearing glasses refused to answer my call because I cancelled an order because they had alot of customers, and when I go again a different day she said she refused to answer my call because I made her waist food, last time. SO I offered to pay for the last food she said I waisted for cancelling and she admitted to not answering my call to order today. so lesson learned DO NOT CANCEL because they will hold it against you. Very Rude never going here again and there is no need for this childish type of service. So sad they do this, because they want you waiting outside for ever thats why they take your payment right away so you wont leave.They don't understand that sometimes people cannot wait for them outside till they have food ready."

"this is the best place so far for bbq south of sa. a small building, easy to miss if they are not looking on the corner of san patricio and sh 359 in mathis, tx. Everyone who drives to corpus christi has to stop here! we had the mini trinity, which is 1/2 lb per brisket, pork, sausage (cheese/jalapeno) and 2 small sides. it was perfect and delicious for me and hubby. we got a rehearsal of the pig bell that my nabeby described as meat sweetness service was also friendly! definitely back to this place but on the motorcycle! lol!"

"I can't recommend any of the food. This is most definitely not pit BBQ. The brisket was 80% fat and tasted like a gas stove. Gravy was flavorless flour paste. Barely warm food let alone hot. At least day old buns. The one thing that was good and had flavor was the cup of BBQ sauce that came with the food. I didn't complain to them but would never, ever go back. I don't know how they get such great reviews. I'm truly stumped. Service: Dine in"

"Absolutely amazing food. They consistently provide some of the absolute best meals whenever I visit Texas. The next day after eating here, I had dinner at a higher end Mexican restaurant in Austin that cost upwards of 50% more than this place. It pales in comparison to the dishes I've had here. "Pizza and wings were very hot and delicious. We exchanged the ice tea to a soft drink, tea tasted horrible. We didn't like the waiter, he had a bad attitude. Wouldn't smile, every time we would talk to him and tried to order, he would roll his eyes back. My son insisted for me to still give him a tip at the end I didn't want to. But I still gave him a 2 dollars tip and he just took them from my hand and didn't even say thank you. How rude, shouldn't have given him anything."
