"This was our first time to the VA location of this former DC restaurant, and we probably will not return. The positives: the location is convenient with $5 valet parking, the ambiance was nice, my Vodka martini was excellent and our server was attentive. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is not what we remember, and we were disappointed. The online reviews of the duck were mixed, but I decided to try it because I love Peking duck. As it turns out, the negative reviews were on point — the duck was tough, the skin wasn’t crispy, the pancakes were dry and tasteless and the cucumber slices were too large. My husband ordered the halibut, and it over cooked and dry. Overall, we didn’t have a positive experience."
