"When we arrived we had expected to be seated at.a table. However we were told we had booked four seats at the bar. That surprised me as if I did it was not my intention. The four seats at the bar were right by the entrance and was difficult to have a conversation. Disappointed as Carson’s is our favorite restaurant in Milwaukee (and Deerfield) always a must stop!"

"The Packing House. This was another awesome experience for the Supper Club journey! After we confirmed our reservations, we headed to the bar. Started with the WISCO Old Fashion and Martini, they make great drinks by the way! It wasn’t long before we were seated for dinner. Our waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about all the dinner options. We had a combination of the duck, tenderloin, vegan dish and pork chop for dinner. The food was amazing! Over all a 5 star experience! Thanks for a great Saturday night dining experience!"

"We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. It was quiet and staff were ready to meet all of our needs. Our waitress was very sweet. We had two burgers and chicken n waffles. All of our meals were excellent, great seasoning, and the sweet potatoes fries were perfection! I would def come back!"

"If I could give a lower rating I would. Ordered a delivery order through Uber eats and received the wrong order half of it was correct). Called benjis and the EXTREMELY rude gentleman told me that it was the Uber drivers fault and that he took two orders with him (one was his/Uber and one was mine) and that it was his fault and he gave me the wrong one and I had to call him for refund. I asked if they would re make the correct order he said no was super short and ended up hanging up on me. I then called my Uber eats driver and he told me he went to benjis and only picked up one order mine. Not only did benjis not fix the issue, he flat out lied, blaming an Uber driver who did nothing wrong. The food that was in the order we got has bacon which my family cannot eat so we sit here without dinner after spending $60 for 2 gross looking sandwiches. HIGHLY recommend ANYWHERE else."

"I chose Moxie for dinner on a Wednesday night after a stressful workday. I knew before I walked in that I wanted their salmon/ mashed potatoes/ roasted vegetables, and a Caesar salad. "The Shrimp Scampi was the worst tasting shrimp scampi dish I've ever had! It was super sour, like it was only cooked in lemons. I didn't taste any garlic at all. I recommend that no one EVER buys that dish. On top of that I blew $18.04 on a limited amount of food. I'm not saying they are a bad place, because their pizza is the BOMB. But they failed miserably with their shrimp scampi dish. It hurt my taste buds eating it, that I had to throw it away."

"When ordering donuts for delivery, they always tend to give you the least popular ones. You never get crullers, long johns , frosted… they give you coconuts and nut covered. If you explain there for a younger crowd, they send you old people donuts. The pack the box is so tight that when you open them the frosting or the covering sticks to other donuts. Presentation is not the best. Dunkin’ Donuts definitely is better. Disappointed with the selection after ordering three dozen and asking for a variety for college students."

"if they are near the old world street (maybe they are a tourist, conventioneer or bucks fan,) milwaukee brat house is not the worst loud taverne where they take a meal. service is actiw and friendly, but can be absorbed with the regular food is quite decent for the venue type very fresh wrap sandwiches in addition to the expected sausages."

"this place is ridiculous. we ordered egg rolls and Patatas band. the egg rolls were $11, and it was literally cut two egg rolls in the half. they tasted as if someone had just discovered ingwer, because that was the only taste in the ground, and the outer was burned in sharing. the patatas bravas were about $15. it was a plate of boiled cubes with romesco and cashew cream, and a few flower leaves above. the carrots were not browned and crispy. I had better kartoffels for a third of the price at every breakfast place. the bottles of wine were halfway away because it was Wednesday. weeping wee though in the regular $60, we skipped it. our server immediately cooled to us when we decided to order alcohol. there was also what seemed colorful fur coats hanging on the bathroom that was strange for juli in a vegan restaurant. we would have eaten at odd duck in the night, which has similar small plate-setting prices. but odd duck was a world away that was better worth every last penny. it's a pity because strange town is totally vegan, but I can't imagine eating again. after our dinner we had left pizza at home. updated by previous review on 2022-07-30"

"if I could leave a -5, I would. I came to dinner and was greeted with hostility. lady asked how many and my fiancée two said while I was standing behind him, reacted to an important text about a family member, and the hostess declined from being on my handy. not sure why what I'm doing on my phone is important when we still react with them and interact with them but go on. looked down at our stand and I am up and down immediately. pay their personal better and rent them more people so that these workers are not stressed and tired so that we can get better customer service!"

"We must've came at a great time. We were there about noon, not very busy. And everything was perfect! Taco Tuesday, so we both ordered 3 tacos for $2 a piece, and when you buy three tacos rice and beans comes with. Only a couple tacos qualify for the $2 a piece but they were what I would choose anyway! With chips and their salsas, it was incredible! Some of the best tacos I've had, filled us both, I will definitely be coming back on a Tuesday or Thursday for the $2 tacos. I can see how it can be very expensive, but with a deal like this, zero complaints! The server was very on top of things, and we enjoyed the experience"

"eat ok. unhappy personal. divorced on Friday evening 25th juli. eating was ok, but the problem was the less than professional worker before the restaurant. two of the chefs smoke cigarettes, with profanity and overall looked like they were supposed to work on a tattoo card. my wife and mother in law felt really uncomfortable. the hotel is located in a beautiful neighborhood near uwm, the staff we experienced were not what they would expect. also the website said they have fresh crimped on the dach, but the waiter said they didn't."

"Visited for the first time with my husband, enjoyed the food and the experience. From the look of the menu anything can be made vegan. We had the nachos, Mac and cheese, and burger. It also looked like they offered a variety of teas and smoothie options. You've got to order at the counter and they bring the food to you when it's ready. No off street parking that I saw. Would definitely recommend."

"We recently dined at the restaurant now owned by Bartolotta for the first time. The atmosphere and service were both exceptional. Our servers, Tony and Cory, took great care of us. We started our meal with delicious salads - I had the Caesar with shaved Parmesan and my husband had the chopped salad with Nueske’s bacon. For my main course, I ordered the filet and scallops combo. While the scallops were delicious, my steak lacked flavor and needed a sauce. My husband tried the whole brandino, which was a bit of an adventure to debone but didn't have the same wow factor as cracking open a lobster tail. Our dinner for two, including salads, entrees, and wine, came to $212 - a bit more than we usually spend on similar meals. The view from the restaurant was stunning, and to top off our meal, Cory surprised us with complimentary champagne to celebrate our anniversary."

"This restaurant used to be better years ago. I believe the service and food quality have declined over the years, unfortunately. The restaurant holds a lot of nastalgia, as i believe it's one of the first vegan restaurants in the state. The menu offers many organic and vegan options. I did notice some meat selections as well. They offer a dozen unique salad options, and they also have a kids menu. The drinks include fresh juices, smoothies, alcoholic beverages, and coffee options. The location is great with ample street and lot parking available. The ambiance is what I like the most. The restaurant is brigh, and it has a vast amount of natural lighting, which comes through from its huge beautiful window pains. The restaurant has many live plants as decor, which I enjoy as well. Attached to the restaurant seating area, there is a store and deli. Overall, if you're in the area, it's worth the stop."
