"My daughter has wanted to come here for awhile, and we decided that we would go for a belated Mother’s Day lunch during my visit. Quaint old home turned into cool spot to grab a delicious sandwich. Our server, Tristion, was excellent. We ordered the chicken salad sandwich with potato salad and almost vegan with blue cheese coleslaw. The almost vegan was the winner for the explosion of flavor in each bite. They have a small General Store next door. Definitely recommend!!"

"Enjoy a casual dining experience at this cozy Mount Pleasant restaurant, with the option to dine outside under charming Edison bulbs. This spot has a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the local community. On my first visit, I tried the CT burger on lettuce and was impressed by the variety of options on the menu. The cobb salad is a great choice for sharing. Parking is convenient, with a lot located across the street from the restaurant or ample street parking in the area. Don't worry about finding a spot, as it's not a high traffic area."

"This has become my new favorite lunch spot. I place an order online and it's always ready when I get there, including extra crackers, silverware, and napkins. The chicken salad is delicious and I am more than pleased with the service. Thanks for the great service and amazing chicken salad!"

"Awesome service from Ashley. Yummy sweet tea fried chicken on house biscuits with cheese grits and a side of fried green tomatoes. Mimosa and a sweet tea for the road. Perfect fuel for a day of adventure. I would recommend this place and visit again. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!"

"Ardoa is perfect for business professionals to work, couples for a date or a girls night out. The octopus I had was absolutely delicious along with the cheese and meat charcuterie board. The owner recommended a Pinot noir that is exactly what I wanted. I will be back the next time I’m in town for sure!"

"The Barn Door Bar Restaurant; did an excellent job hosting an event last week. The Food and snacks were very good along with the drinks.If you have not stopped in for a burger or anything on the menu, I highly recommend this fun little restaurant. Yes, it’s a few miles west of Mt. Pleasant but well worth the drive.The owner Cathy along with the incredible staff, always will make you feel welcome with great service and friendly smiles."

"I rarely give 5-star ratings, but Wells Bros almost reaches perfection. The pizza is outstanding, service is quick and attentive. Despite being busy, the atmosphere was not crowded or loud. Even though the location is not the best, there is an off-duty officer outside ensuring guests feel safe. This shows the restaurant truly cares about the customer experience."

"Had the cheeseburger sandwich, super pepperoni pizza and the baked spaghetti and they were all delicious. Pizza was a little greasy but was loaded with a lot of pepperoni so that is kinda understandable. Good clean simple place with reasonable pricing, great service and great food."

"Absolutely delicious! Friendly/helpful staff as well. And reasonably priced. This will be my new go-to. We went on a weekend at a peak time, and it was busy but the line moved reasonably fast. Check out the menu online so you can have an idea of what 's avalaible/how it 's served. You don 't just get an order of tabouleh- it comes as a scoop on top of a platter. My first time there, so I tried a platter and added a side of meatballs to get a feel for everything. The falafel was my favorite, but the chicken was also great. Lots of excellent fountain drinks including root beer varieties, several tea options, a flavored water, and the lavendar lemonade was tasty. Fries are shoestring type and just right, maybe a little on the salty side. Heads up, the greek yogurt is a frozen yogurt, definitely dessert. Kids menu pitas were pretty small, we had to go back for a second round for the children, will likely order the adult item in the future."

"Only what I had there, but I had several times, is the Italian Omelet... it's the healthy way to eat pizza in the morning. It's absolutely phenomenal. They are the key that they do not fluff the eggs that are actually more common than non-floated eggs on an omelet causing the eggs to boil over. It is a fantastic omelet and the staff are fantastic"

"Arrived for our 6pm dinner reservation, which turned out to be entirely unnecessary as there were only 3 tables with patrons at that time. (Things had filled up quite a bit by the time we finished . Nice ambiance near the fireplace, and our server was efficient. We all had the filet for dinner with sides of mushroom Risotto, smashed Yukon potatoes, and French fries. Everything was spot on. Highly recommend the fries, which were wonderfully hot and crispy, and came with a delicious garlic aioli. For dessert, we got the Tiramisu, which was disappointing. The description said ladyfingers soaked with coffee and rum. I love a good boozy Tiramisu, so my hopes were up. Wah wah. The ladyfingers were practically dry and flavorless. Could taste neither coffee nor rum. The low point of the evening and the real dealbreaker here was the music. They had on some horrible Sirius channel or Playlist of this God awful techno, synth-rave nightclub music. Totally not suitable for what is supposed to be an upscale restaurant. We asked if a different channel could be played, and apparently the answer is NO, because the owner likes this station . Oh, and no table bread. All good steakhouses give you a bread (Morton 's, Hyde Park Prime, Flemimgs, etc. . Food was good but we wouldn 't come again."

"Man, I hate to say this, and it is so regrettable, but the overall value and service at Joeys has gone enormously. I went every Friday and got me here at noon and it was so good for so many years, then started having problems with my orders and stayed on the way for a while. I came the other day to get a big #10, which I usually get and it came to $17 without tip and it was missing ingredients. I came to the conclusion that you absolutely leave CANNOT the restaurant before you check all your sandwiches because there is a 90% chance that they did something wrong. You have a really bad habit of removing additional ingredients when you ask to change something. I didn't ask for tomatoes and I didn't get tomatoes, no cheese. I never asked about cheese. Some of my employees didn't come back because of persistent mistakes. I made the mistake to leave and go back to the office just to realize that my sandwich lacks 2 ingredients. It's super frustrating, as this place used to be such a great lunch place. I'm going by lunch now and I see empty parking places most of the time. Service and attention are enormous and its really sad to see. Also, $17 for a lunch sandwich that didn't flow over with Roast Beef, had two slices of cheese(i had to go back and get), spoiled mixed greens, and Mayo and onions on the side? Looks like the highway robbery. I will go back, his just not worth it"

"I am writing this review not to criticize the food, as it was delicious and the cooks did a great job. However, when I ordered a to-go meal, parts of my order were left out. While we did receive the main course, the other half of the order, such as tortillas and salsa, was missing. The food is great and the overall experience is enjoyable, but it is disappointing to have to check my bag like I would at a fast food restaurant when I paid a significant amount. Despite this, it is a wonderful place to dine in."

"We saw this restaurant on Trip Advisor while driving through... glad we stopped. The food is very good! The burgers are huge and tasty... the bacon cheese fries are yummy and enough for two. The staff was extremely friendly. We also loved the brown beans!! Overall a very good restaurant that I would recommend everyone try... wish it was closer to our home in New Braunfels, Texas."
