"We went for lunch. It's nicely decorated but quite dark inside. The food was delicious and was of high quality. It's not pretentious- there were kids here and they provide kid's menu/coloring sheet/placemat with a small packet of crayons. I had achocolate martini, because yes, the name of this place makes you want to try one. It was good and very boozy. My daughter had anon-alcoholic drink, and I was surprised that they came to bring new frozen glasses to freshen up our drinks. I snuck one of mygrandson's fries and they were great (real potatoes). Everyone enjoyed their meals. The servers were A+."

"The food was delicious and wait staff were good! I was disappointed that I didn’t get a discount on my meal and or a manager didn’t come out and address my issues. I was given a wrong menu a price fix menu and it wasn’t honored! I was offered a dessert complimentary for me but I am not a dessert person. I requested a discount on my meal and it was ignored . No explanation given, there should be better customer service."

"Macarena Tapas Naperville was more than a restaurant; it was a beacon of culinary brilliance in the heart of Naperville, now etched in the memories of those fortunate to have experienced its magic. Its closure marks the end of an era, leaving behind a legacy of unforgettable flavors and moments. The menu, a celebration of Spanish cuisine, offered a journey through taste and tradition. Each dish, from the artfully spicy Patatas Bravas to the succulent Gambas al Ajillo, was a masterpiece, blending authenticity with innovation. Dining at Macarena was not just eating; it was an immersive cultural experience. The ambiance of Macarena Tapas mirrored the warmth of Spanish hospitality, creating a space where every visit felt like a festive gathering among friends. The décor, with its elegant nods to Spain, and the vibrant yet cozy atmosphere, made every meal a special occasion. But the true essence of Macarena lay in its people. The staff’s genuine warmth and exceptional service made diners feel not just welcomed, but cherished. This personal touch transformed great meals into memorable experiences, fostering a sense of community and belonging. As we bid farewell to Macarena Tapas Naperville, we hold tight to the memories of the joy and culinary delight it brought into our lives. The anticipation for the owner’s next venture is a testament to the indelible impact of Macarena. It wasn’t just a restaurant; it was a place where food was celebrated, and every meal was an adventure. Here's to the legacy of Macarena Tapas — a jewel in Naperville's culinary crown, whose spirit will continue to inspire. Thank you for the memories, the flavors, and the joy. Until we meet again in your next chapter."

"I cannot recommend Che Figata more than this. The whole place is a goldmine if you are looking for something special. The food is fabulous and the pricing reasonable for what you get in perfect flavor matching. Nothing, but nothing, on the menu is less than an 8.5. I'm telling you, you will not go wrong here and I'm very tough to please in high end restaurants. Go there soon, thank me later. Also, A Very Special thanks to: Manager Jenn, Chef Drew, and Tim and Ryan over at the bar. These folks are witty, smart, professional and that's a fact! I'd give this place a sixth star bc of the staff."

"Always a good time at Quigley's! I worked here many years ago and love visiting. Food, service, and atmosphere are top notch. Casual enough to be comfortable, but also makes the perfect date night spot with their live music, fireplaces, and all around cozy, warm interior. If you're looking for your new bar in downtown Naperville, I can't recommend Quigley's enough."

"The food was great and the menu and atmosphere was charming. Pretty date spot! This is my second time here and again the staff are very welcoming and helpful. I love their decorations! It was really pretty in December. They have a pig on the wall that they dress up and that’s pretty funny. Great food and prices (average for Downtown Naperville. Great vegetarian burger, mac and cheese, and magic mushroom burger! Amazing farm to table food."

"Food was delicious homemade and portions were large. Server was very sweet and professional. Had a very nice local vibe and we will be back for sure. Felt a little bad the owner was asking every table how dinner was, he avoided us tho. I would have liked to tell him how much we enjoyed our first visit."

"We had the good fortune to dine with friends at Fontina's last night. The food was delicious, the waiter appropriately attentive, and the wine tasty. I had the spaghetti with marinara sauce and meatballs--the sauce was spicy and flavorful and the meatballs were delicious. A special treat was the Insallata alla Strega--a delicious salad with a delightful light dressing. We definitely will be back!"

"Olive Garden had a line out the door so I went to a Peruvian place instead. I had the Butifarra sandwich and fried yucca side. The sandwich was so good I packed the second half to take home to my wife. The fried yucca had the perfect crisp-soft-saltratio. Don?t go to chains. Go to this place. Pictures are a bit shoddy I was in a hurry to eat in my car."

"Cracker Fass has my favorite food. Chickens and dumplings. But only when it comes from cracker barrels. I'll never understand how they do it so well. The only thing I really wanted on my birthday was to come here. And we live an hour away, but my friend still drove me here. Sadly, when we came there, they were closed for a private event and it broke my heart. But ive was there a few times and the food cured me."

"My waitress was amazing. Super friendly and attentive. Made excellent recommendations. The owner was also very friendly and nice. I had the gyoza appetizer (ask for pan seared! and the thin sliced beef wrapped in green onion on top of a deliciousginger salad. The sauce is very authentic. After I ate the beef and salad, I poured the sauce over the rice. It was perfect. Ialso got the sukiyaki sliced beef noodle soup. It was filled with tofu and veggies and shitake mushroom. The broth is excellent. For Japanese entrees like noodle/soup this place is the absolute best and most authentic in Naperville. The noodles/soup onlyserved during dinner. I would return to try the nabeyaki udon next for dinner. And during lunch I will probably get the NY Stripentree or one of the katsu rice. If you are looking for quality authentic entrees, this is the spot in Naperville."

"We have gone to this place twice so far and each time is great! This time we had Jamie as our chef and he’s so personable and funny, he was absolutely lovely! If we don’t get to have him as our chef again, I wanted to make sure I left a great review for him! Ask for Jamie if you’re coming in, he’s amazing!"

"We were passing through Naperville and after reading the reviews, decided to give it a try! Nothing special, limited choices and expensive for the quality of food. Had heartburn, bloating and my mouth still feels greasy! Awful sensation. You will havethe food in a box without fork and knife, and will not be able to wash your hands before and after eating, as they don?t haverestrooms. Very poor quality of food! Had ?Large? quesadilla, first was not that large, á way too greasy and doesn?t tastegood! But the staff is very nice, welcoming and helpful. Would give them 5 stars. Small place, but nicely decorated! However, would never go back there again."

"Great food and excellent service. Make sure to order a variety of the tapas both hot and cold you can't really go wrong. Can recommend the potato salad and bacon wrapped dates as two staples that we almost always order. Their sangria is also amazing get a pitcher to share. They have a wide variety of flavors but I recommend the prickly pear, it's not super sweet but very refreshing and a unique flavor. If you're uncertain what to order, don't be afraid to ask the staff as they are very knowledgeable and more than willing to make helpful recommendations."

"Wow. I really did not know that there is such a wonderful Chinese restaurant in Naperville. I passed by the toad sign so many times but have never thought of visiting there before my Chinese friend recommended the place. He said “Mapo might be the best and most authentic Chinese restaurant in west suburbs “. I can say it is absolutely true. The foods were amazing so I ate almost 3 people portions at last dinner. Staffs were so kind and the restaurant was so clean. I want to strongly recommend the owner to replace the sign. If they have a good sign matching with the foods and services that the restaurant is providing, the restaurant will become #1 Chinese restaurant in IL near soon."

"that was our worst experience in a restaurant. rosebud has failed for my birthday party. they brought out the four derées for the four adults and left the two children waiting for their derées for 20 minutes. when we immediately asked where the food was the children, they told us very briefly that it comes, but I could see that they put the pizza in the oven after they served the adult. when my man told the manager, it is not good practice to bring out all the kidnappers of the adult and let the children wait 20 minutes when they ask for their food, he said rudely: "no excuse me, what else should I do?" manager I have ever seen the worst in a restaurant in my whole life. ruined the birthday, ruined the dinner, ruined our impression of rosebud forever. Moreover, the fish special was fishy and had no taste at all."
