"if they are in nashville for a day, they have to go to midtown cafe for dinner. the place has been here for 30 years and once they eat here they will understand why. when they sit on the bar. gina will welcome her with a warm and pretty smile. at the beginning I recommend the lemon artichoke Seife. the suppe is on the menu since the day the restaurant is open. a wonderful combination of bitter quality balanced with a hauch of paprika. next they need the seared dayboay sea scallops, served with lobster brie mac and cheese, asparagus and a white lobster cream sauce. save them space for jalapeño brotpudding. yeap jalapeño and brotpudding and vanilla ice cream....read more"

"I've loved my other experiences at O-Ku, but I took my fiance for his birthday and it was just alright. We waited over 45 minutes for our food and the waiter forgot two of our dishes. When we asked to order more, we were told it would be another 45 minute wait. While the food we has was good, we ended up stopping for more food on the way home because we didn't get enough."

"Dear Sushi made the ‘Where to eat sushi in Nashville” list on Eater so I had to try it. Since I had read it is quick service in a very small strip mall place I thought it might be lower priced. It was fairly comparable with many local places but the portions are bigger.Everything was really good. Not skimpy with the fish and not to heavy on the rice or sauces. The place is very clean and the staff friendly. We had the ell roll, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura salmon nigiri this very full tray was all of that. Went with my teenage son still had leftovers. It’s in a really weird spot in Donelson but worth the trip.Parking: Plenty of parking for lunch on a weekday."

"Huge let down today at Diskin Cider for their “brunch” event. We ordered a cider $6), a beer $8), and the blueberry pancake special… the pancakes they brought were tiny-I could have made better at home with box mix, on a plastic plate. I’m confused as our tab was $33 before tip. So the two TINY pancakes were around $15? Shocking. They need to do better."

"Customer service counter service was great. The food was pretty basic Mediterranean food and they did not have a lot of extra items or choices we were hoping for. I would say what they did have wasn’t bad. Nice owner. They did their best to accommodate us. We just hope for more.Food: 3/5"

"This place is the absolute best in Nashville for coffee and tea, Masha Allah, as well as some snacks on the jump. Their prices are the best in the city (you can simply not beat), their ingredients are top notch, and they have a very friendly staff in which I had the honour to meet some of them. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. Al Hamdulillah for the horn!"

"The donuts here were pretty good- baked not fried, cake style with several vegan options. Most of the selection was not vegan. I was expecting a latte, but they do have a coffee station with no frills coffee and almond milk. It’s a beautiful little bakery with huge windows."

"how did they overlook this beautiful place?. my wife and I often take vacation to nashville because we love the great and diverse selection of places to eat. when we didn't come to some other restaurants, we just drove by and took a shot at valentinos. we sat right away. no waiting time. in that did, this set the dead for the whole night. everything was fast and professional. it is one of the most professional restaurants where I have ever eaten. the personal takes his tasks seriously. I dare to drink a glass of water that is more than half empty. these people are all there. most other restaurants around nashville in the higher spending areas...read more"

"Wanted some ice cream and ran across this ice cream shop while visiting Nashville. I tried a couple of flavors and fell in love with the brambleberry crisp ??? Hubby got the chocolate ice cream since he didn’t like all the other flavors, he doesn’t have a sweet tooth like I do lol. Whenever I visit Nashville again I’m definitely paying a visit."

"Lunch menu is weak. Had salad with hardly anything. Mostly salad. I asked for Veggies, she said they had none. And you changed the chickens of Milanese. It used to be so good with the crushed potatoes. Now they put whole potatoes, the old piccata sauce was sooo good. Now it's brown and not so much taste. You should make some taste tests with your regular customers. Just to say"

"When I saw my hotel had plastic wrapped frozen breakfast sandwiches, and searched breakfast near me, I IMMEDIATELY hopped in the car and sped 5 minutes due to pictures of Sweet Potatoes, Brie, Eggs, big scramble plate. Greeted by amazing staff, great atmosphere and easy parking. Then my world crashed. Mild disappointment to discover it was no longer on the menu. Butter beer latte seems to be super popular, so I order one while I regroup to decide how to proceed without the sweet potato scramble that brought me here. Butter beer latte was lukewarm. I will specify extra hot next time. I order a hot drip coffee to mix with the latte to warm it up. *No offer for real cups or mugs. Maybe this is due to changes from COVID and lingering effects of orangeman's trade war Nothing seemed comparable on the menu to the former glory of the pre-COVID Sweet Potato Scramble pics , so I pivot to the basic eggs and bacon with biscuit. Biscuit is amazing! Bacon is well cooked. Eggs are neither overcooked nor underseasoned. Folded nicely. I guess they don't serve on plates anymore? Feels wasteful to create so much trash for breakfast. When I am not taking anything To-Go. I will give this place another chance, the online pictures painted a little more advanced situation with the food than what is available currently. Interested to see how they continue to recover from the effects of COVID and Trade War shortages."

"There were so many flavors. I ended up choosing half salted caramel peanut butter and half brown butter brittle. The ice cream was creamy and delicious, which was being enjoyed in a cold night. It was really a good price for a cup which allowed 1/2 and 1/2. Whether you are adventurous in your flavors or basic, you have many flavors to choose from such as biscuits with the boss, brambleberry crisp, gooey butter cake or goat cheese with cherries or regular chocolate."

"The food is consistently phenomenal at Edessa Restaurant. Lahmacun served with parsley, onions and tomato is very good, freshly baked with good spices, and also the hot appetizer cabbage rolls are superb. There are many more delicious items on the menu too; your servers will offer excellent recommendations. The meal and dessert tastes very good with hot black tea. Service is warmly professional and makes me feel comfortable and welcome to relax as a solo diner. The atmosphere is made nice with decorations and soft music and all of the staff seem friendly and generously helpful. I also appreciate that parking is easy. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!"

"I love this place, mostly their gyros, French fries and chicken kabob plate. They're so friendly and care about costumer and they serving quality foods with fresh ingredients, you can feel that taste. Also they have enough space so you have plenty of space between other tables if you want to dine in, and don't forget about their cucumber sauce"

"After trying Beef Brisket in Dallas for the first time, I have been on the lookout for the best Beef Brisket in Nashville. I believe I have found it at Shotgun Willie's. The restaurant recently relocated from a small spot on Gallatin Road to a much larger location also on Gallatin Road near Briley Parkway and close to the Nashville National Military Cemetery. The new space is very spacious. I anticipate that once the word gets out about their Brisket, the restaurant will start filling up quickly. My wife tried the pork barbecue and also found it to be excellent. Shotgun Willie's closes at 3pm or when they run out of food, so make sure to arrive early. Last Saturday, everything was sold out before 3pm. While the sides were good, they were not exceptional. Note that the business picture shows the old location, so don't be misled by this."

"Fantastic food and service. I had the Cuban… long story short I had to explain to my wife that it was a sandwich and not a refugee. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. My wife had the bologna sandwich. She’s cross-eyed so she ordered the ‘boner’ sandwich. Wasn’t exactly what she was expecting but she loved it. Great little place with terrific food, fast service, and wonderful staff."
