"We hosted a private party here for our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary...I can 't say enough about the food, the staff and how accommodating everyone was helping us all get everything planned. It was hard to find a spot with a private or semi private space for our 'too big for a regular table and too small for a private spot ' group but Tre Scalini was full of options for us. The menu they had us use had choices for everyone from ages 3 to 73! And our waiter was absolutely AMAZING so accommodating, cooperative and he hustled. We couldn 't have found a better spot for our group of almost 20. Thanks to Joe and Joe and everyone there who helped make the night one to remember!!"

"The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable, however, this place is not ideal for sitting down to eat. It's more of a take-out pizzeria with scattered tables. We had to call the server over, order at the counter, and request utensils. Once our food arrived, the server never came back out from behind the counter."

"this was a particularly unsatisfactory experience for a restaurant at this price. cocktails were the highlight of the experience. app tuna thunfisch was fresh and tasty 4 pieces came about 30 minutes in our dinner service entree lamb we both ordered that this one order was medium rare and you were medium, although you put the food runners the orders set before the wrong people. my wife got the medium she doesn't enjoy. on each plate were served two petty lambs at a 55 usd price. So we were served for 110 dollar 4 very small lambs. this article is described in the menu as a lamb. in the united states (nyc) this is a small plate for 20 usd. it also took an hour and a half to dinner to achieve this. we left starving when we had 2 hours in and ate “Dinner” again in the cocobay restaurant, because we still starve. we would not go back and we recommend that several couples with whom we made friends at the cocobay not to waste their money here and they took our advice. it was an unfortunate experience on our honeymoon."

"vivi bubble tee is one of my attacks when I am in new haven. they have tons of different blase tee aromen (matcha is my favorite) and various dings that they can put in their tee next to boba. also great because they use soy milk and non-dairy powder for their aromes. only on the bottom is that sometimes the resistance is out, and the tee will be much too sweet. simply fixed by more milk to house, or just ask them to use a certain amount sugar. I haven't tried them yet, but they also have poke dishes that can be made easily vegan."

"We ate in the large main dining room. It filled up quickly complete with screaming baby. Not the restaurant’s fault I guess but in the main dining room things are rather exposed creating some what of a cafeteria environment. Waiters rushing around created somewhat of a frenzied environment. A limited selection of tiny cocktails and glasses of wine by the glass. Be prepared to spring for a bottle. Food was good reflecting a level of care in preparation that is substantially about average. Not crazy expensive."

"Food is good I often eat at this place. But never will I again I called in my order and once I picked up my food it was wrong I brought it back and was told I get what I get so I left the food there since I had to head back to work came back a few days later to sort out if he could refund me or discount my next order and was told no that the food I paid for was given to me and was thrown out cause I left it there. Horrible customer service I wouldn’t recommend supporting a rude business like this at all"

"The customer service at this restaurant is top-notch - friendly, attentive, and prompt! The food was both delicious and smelled amazing. "Nothing bad to say, any issue I’ve had had been resolved by the staff there with care. There was an instance in October 2021 when I had just had surgery and wasn’t able to drive anywhere. I had tried ordering tropical smoothie through DoorDash two separate times and both times the driver had dropped off my smoothie to another location far from my address. The manager at the time was super kind and hand delivered it to me himself. I was so grateful because it wasn’t necessary of them to do that at all but they were so cool, understanding, and respectful of my situation. Cool people, I hope they always get treated with respect as they deserve it."

"This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I was so impressed that I immediately booked a reservation for two weeks from now. I plan on bringing my in-laws along because the food is amazing and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. I noticed that the menu on the website is slightly different once you are seated at your table. The poutine was tasty but lacked cheese curds. However, the burger and steak were cooked perfectly to my specifications, which is rare to achieve at other restaurants. The pear martini and apple fritters were absolutely delicious! And the honey gelato was out of this world. This restaurant is definitely worth the money."

"this is our lunch when we are in the mood to drive to new haven. the half of their entire menu is native vegan without needing any change! The lunch buffet is the best value of $10 and everything you can eat. they always have at least 6 vegan options during lunch mon- sat. they also serve meat. eating is incredibly similar to a less spicy Indian eating. they can eat with their hands with injera brot (this is really good). that's one of our favorite restaurants we've been doing for years. there are street-side meter parking places that are sometimes difficult. if you drive down the road, right at the first light there is a decent parking garage. the personal was always friendly."

"Stopped in while on a road trip after reading reviews. The positive was the whole sea bass. Challenges were the Mezcal Old Fashioned. Regular ice and a maraschino cherry where a large cube and a Luxardo should be, and the shrimp appetizer was tasty but the shrimp were over cooked and the French bread was unexciting. Our server, Kaylee (so? was sweet, but had too many tables."
