"We have gone to Holdren multiple time over the last 15 years. Usually the food is terrific last nite was the exception. My go to dish to order was the Pork chops. Always very juicy and tender, they came out hot, but they were chewy an lacked favor. The Scalloped potatoes were just OK. My wife order the Beef Wellington, to which she enjoyed. We both had the soup of the day , Creamed Asparagus soup with Shrimp, Very tasty. They used to serve Squaw Bread, not anymore I guess. We had a 8 o'clock reservation, they were only about 5 other tables already eating. We were the last table in the place. I'm not sure if it was the Holiday weekend for the lack of customers , the Hostess said it was, so maybe that was the reason. I was disappointed this time. I feel for the prices they charge it should've been better. Not sure if we will return in the future. It was a Birthday celebration that was stated when making the reservation, we didn't expect a big fanfare, but no mention of it from our server, He was attentive and friendly enough, no complaint about the service. Live and learn."
