"This place had a cool beach vibe with their music, and after you put in your order, you get it super quick. Their waitresses were very attentive and sweet, and talking with the locals on the patio, they love this place, and my wife and I loved it too."

"Came with a party of seven. we had oysters, calamari, and the yellowfin sashimi appetizer-fantastic! Most of us had the bone in ribeye with one having the Seabass special. All the steaks were cooked to perfection. Finished off with a banana butter cake, a lemon tart, and a chocolate something, all were amazing!!!! It was such a delightful experience… well done Eddie’s"

"We made a special trip to New Port to visit with friends who ended up canceling. We luckily still had one additional couple in our party and decided to keep the reservations. Our server Grayson, was excellent from the very start. Everything was prepared well and thoughtfully. If you plan on going, be sure to ask to be sat in his section and leave him a nice tip. A nice meal was made great because of our server"

"I'll tell you. here today. had the pizza and chicken cesar salat. salat wasn't too home to write and he was tasteless. pizza looked great, but sauce tasted like it was from a dose. the owner came to our table and imagined by asking if he could have a piece of our pizza. it was a little strange, but he was nice and said he could check the quality. then about 5 minutes later he came back and asked if he could still have a disc because he had hunger. the first time was funny and charming, the second time was strange and rude. we are not going back."

"Adria provided exceptional service during our visit. The food was, as always, impeccable, and we really appreciated the gluten-free options. However, what stood out the most was Alex, the manager. He went above and beyond to secure our reservation for Christmas Eve and took the time to personally greet us despite the bustling atmosphere. The deep-fried fortune cookie ice cream he created specifically for Christmas Eve was outstanding! I highly recommend that this dessert be offered at all restaurants!"

"My Newport friends love this place and come here every week. So glad I finally have to check it! Stanton is just the best bartender. Smart, attentive, hard working, personal? he remembered my name and had my strong drink ready for me on my second visit. Friendly and fast servers navigate the busy environment like professionals. The food is great? Salmon, sea red ahi, pub burger, chicken picatta, birthday desserts, pommes. Randy, the owner, is so funny and welcoming. Loud and campy with low light and new friends everywhere. Can't wait to go back!"

"the jalapeno bacon mac n cheese ordered. also the roasted chicken club sandwich shared. the afternoon we visited was quiet, which allowed for a great 1:1 time with the owner. the location is only one next road in a two-minute walk from the ferry. will definitely go again."

"The Southwest Avocado Salad is great with Ceaser dressing. Y Tambien, the whole team there always have smiles and are working hard to complete the orders. Great service from Miriam, Ramiro, Georgetta and the other members there (I cant remember all the names) but their all great leaders providing service with a smile!"

"We had a great time. Because of the rain? They were able to move us in, although they were fully booked on a Friday night. You have an additional place for such emergencies. The food was lovely. There were at least 5 items on the menu I wanted. It was a difficult choice, but they have a real reuben sandwich with their own homemade sauerkraut and Russian dressing. I also ordered another favorite article to go on a separate bill, so it didn't have to be split later, we all covered the bills of my sister and her husband for her birthdays, 8-9 and 9-9. Some of the other elections were Irish Stew, Shepherds Pie, and the St. Paddy's Hamburger with Tillamook Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Avocado "

"We wish we could give Lotus Bistro a higher rating and that it lived up to its hype, but sadly, it doesn?t. We got the Filet Mignon Pho and the Chicken Pho delivered and everything came poorly packaged in styrofoam containers. The noodles and meat were in the same small styrofoam container and bc the filet was completely rare and the bag was opened, the blood had seeped all over on to the noodles and it just looked so unappealing. The filet mignon itself was soft as butter though. The chicken, on the other hand, was totally dry. I like the addition of fried onions for the soup, but really we just had broth and some noodles bc of how dry the chicken was. It was as if it had been made weeks ago and there was no way to save it and no amount of broth could have made it tender. No one wanted to eat it. The noodles were also on the hard side and not the freshest for either pho as well. There are just such better pho places in OC that there would be no reason to ever try this place again."

"Another fabulous experience at mariposa. Requested Marc as our waiter because of how attentive he was last time we dined. Started with truffle fries cooked perfectly crispy and fresh. Ordered a Caesar salad with breaded chicken and they were accommodating when I asked for romaine instead of kale. My mom got the lobster Cobb, but she wishes it was made the old way with ranch instead of mustard and no cucumber or red onion (please go back to the old recipe!! overall everything excellent as usual"

"This was the best birthday dinner I had EVER!!! The staff was attentive and gave me a personally signed card and chocolate truffle! It was the best birthday I ever had. The manager composed an extra lava cake and the dinner was amazing about words!! The steak melts in the mouth with sweet potato crisps on a bed spinach. This is our new favorite place and I come back as often as I can!!! I've never had such a great experience in a restaurant. Thank you!!!! Update: came to eat again on 1/10/21 and again it was perfect!! Rigo was our server again and he's AMAZING! I highly recommend that the ambience, drinks and food are second to none!"

"Il Dolce is one of our favorite places for a casual but nice dinner out. The pizza is absolutely outstanding, and the staff is warm and friendly. GET THE PIZZA absolutely when its in season, the fig and prosciutto is one of the best. The bolognese is always a good choice, as well as the polpette. The red meat on the menu can vary, but last night my husband had the veal and it was excellent. All of the salads are fantastic fresh ingredients, creative combos. When its on the menu, the crudo is also always good. And off menu, you really should try the empanadas. Light flaky crust, and we prefer the chicken but the beef is also good."

"omg I had by far the tasting breakfast / brunch here in a dae! it was delicious and tasteful. the cocktail was just okay, but eating was all that was missing. the service was exceptional. I would definitely like to return and I wish there was a place with the same menu in san diego, but for the level of the delicious I don't make it out to drive to newport beach. you have to check this place!"

"Weather was perfect, Awsome food and Amazing Service as always. This mom and pop restaurant never disappoints! A Big Thank You to Sam (Our amazing server) and Keith Davidson (Owner) for your heart felt Hospitality! Keep up the Great Work! It takes alot to survive in the food industry these days, but when you have family traditions passed down and have the same taste and comfort of a home cooked meal really says you are doing something right and you are here to stay! It's no wonder we always show up early and the line demonstrates the customers willingness to wait for a delicious Italian Dining Experience."

"I went to open table to find a reservation. I found one at 8 o’clock which was perfect. Arrived a little bit early and they were not ready for us and it took about 30 minutes until we were actually seated and it was lovely. They food was great. That was the best pasta every I’ve ever eaten. My girlfriend, got salmon and also finished it and thought it was great as well. We also got dessert which was also very good I’m not really a fan of bread pudding, per se, but the waitress was so cool and pretty and thought that we would enjoy it and she was right. It was delicious. We also got some kind of chocolate torte, which was OK my girlfriend liked it better than I did And then we basically were there until the restaurant closed down with a few other people and it was a very lovely evening…we will return."

"This is a great little local spot in Corona Del Mar. The setting is beachy, quaint and low key, despite the toney seaside neighborhood they are in.The menu is varied and somewhat streamline. My wife and I shared the filet mignon Philly cheesesteak sandwhich, served with shoestring fries. It was plenty for the two of us for lunch. The burgers and fish and chips ordered by others in our party were tasty as well. They have a small bar indoors, at which a few obviously local patrons were bellied up to. The prices are reasonable and the portions generous. Parking, as always in this area can be a challenge, but is to be expected. Overall a winner."

"My fiancé and I are on vacation with our four kids (16, 15, 14, 8). It’s really hard to find a restaurant where everyone is extremely happy with their food, but Hook Anchor knocked it out of the park! The staff were all very patient and helpful while the 6 of us were trying to figure out what we wanted. We never once felt rushed or like we were inconveniencing them. We ordered lobster fries, clam chowder, two mahi mahi tacos, two crusty crab burgers, lobster mac cheese, and fish and chips. Everything was mouthwateringly delicious!!! We all thoroughly enjoyed our food! My 15-year-old, who doesn’t like seafood, devoured her crusty crab burger. We all walked out of there happy and stuffed. We are here on vacation from Utah, but if we lived in the area, we’d 100% frequent this little restaurant. I’ll be thinking about those loaded fries for a while!"

"A liner: French themes Café Essen with pastries with a price. Parking: Eight. I came on Wednesday during lunch and it was almost filled. Order: one side for pastries and snacks, while the other side mainly for cafe food. I could order other items on the baked goods side, although it was mainly for pastries. Decor and seating: limited indoor and outdoor areas that fit the theme. Dessert: I came here mainly for the individual desserts; Price at least $6. I have tried the chocolate eclair (the thin chocolate coated stick), the seasonal fruit tea and the Oscar. The Eclair was a little small and the filling was dirty. The tart crust was not as delicious as Porto's fruit tea. Of all I enjoyed the Oskar most. It was flavored with a thick layer of chocolate goose. But in the past I tried a full cake of chocolate cake and that was really good. Overall: I am willing to try again, but the price makes me out as the quality is fine."

"This is a very nice Italian restaurant, upscale atmosphere, moderate priced menu. Unfortunately, the big elephant in the room that we have to address is how bad the CHEF is!Pasta Issue:The homemade pasta, which is supposed to be fresh, it looks like you are eating a cheap Nissin Lamen that you buy for less than $1. If you can't make pasta in house, then get something decent at any supermarket that would be better than what you are currently making.Menu Issue:THE LA NOSTRA BOLOGNESE The Bolognese sauce is awful. This is the most basic and traditional sauce to make in any italian restaurant. I think any Italian born who eat this would probably spit it out and ask for their money back. The RAGU DI GAMBERI very oily, zero flavor and lots of Black pepper. Again, another big miss. The Burrata Appetizer. This is wrong on every single level. The strawberry is old and mushy and the mint leaves does not give any enhancement to the overall flavor of the dish. Most of the time, a nice burrata dish comes with basil and heirloom tomatoes, making it almost like a caprese style of salad, leaving an option to add prawns to really bring the dish together. Also, please verify you don't serve old lime wedges to your customers. This is a lack of caring when you see your limes half yellow instead of green, and you know these lime wedges have been seating there for ages.Bottom line. For the price charged, the ultra small portion served and the lack of flavor and execution in the dishes purchased. I will definitely not come back and refuse to support a chef who is doing things wrong in a very nice and well designed restaurant."
