"I want to start by praising the young lady who was working the register in the dining room, she definitely deserves 5 stars from me. She was not only attending to the customers inside, but also handling DoorDash orders. Despite the long wait, she kept apologizing to everyone in line including myself, a couple with kids behind me, and the customer in front of me. It was clear that she was overwhelmed due to lack of support from her coworkers. While she was working hard, there were several employees standing around chatting and laughing instead of helping out. I felt sorry for her as she had to repeatedly ask her coworkers to prepare fries for the customers before me. The group of employees at the fry station seemed to be more interested in talking and laughing than in attending to the customers waiting in line. After waiting for over 20 minutes with only one customer in front of me, I finally received my order. However, when I got home and opened the bag, I found a small, barely filled fry and a junior bacon burger with only one small piece of bacon. The food did not look appetizing at all, and I couldn't even bring myself to eat it. It was disappointing to see the lack of support for the hardworking girl at the register and the disregard for the customers in line. As someone who has worked at a Wendy's in Ashtabula, Ohio, I was shocked by the situation. While fun and conversation are important in the workplace, it should not come at the expense of customer service. It is essential to prioritize the job at hand, especially when there are customers waiting to be served."
