"Bustling and loud restaurant, relocated from the very tony downtown Piermont area. They make adventurous, consistently delicious dishes, made with care and served efficiently with the cool detachment you might get in NYC.Wine list is appropriately aligned to the caliber of food with maybe a slight edge on the cost. Cocktail menu is a little barren as are the wines by the glass. Which is more than ok because the Sangria is EXCELLENT!!! It's flavorful, without being sweet. The only minor knock is that the fruit is not marinated It's thrown in on top which could be a good thing and might add to the freshness of the pitcher.Fried calamari is good. A couple of the pieces were a bit on the soggy side but excusable, especially when you happen upon the fried limes that throw you for a loop but strangely work in the end.Ribs are devine. Fall off the bone is an understatement. I highly suggest them even if you don't generally like that type of dish.Portion sizes are really well done. They're not so small that you would joke about it and they're not so big you feel overwhelmed if you order more than a couple of plates to share.Dessert was a little bit of a let down. We got the ricotta cheesecake. Presentation was good, but the overall balance of the flavors on the plate were neutral. The berry compote needed a tiny bit more sweetness to compliment the cheesecake. A very small dollop of fresh whipped cream would probably do the trick. All in all, a really nice experience and definitely somewhere we will look forward to going back to."
