"We were a guest today in free style and can recommend the restaurant at the very best. We have reservations online and were placed directly at the bar with a view of the open kitchen after a short consultation. You have the choice between 2 menu variations or a small but tuned evening card. The service was very friendly and professional, especially the very respectful handling throughout the team is exemplary (you get it well with the open kitchen). The kitchen team is well trained and has deliberately decided to go new ways. This is not only noticed by the local leadership, but also on every plate. The mention in the Guide Michelin with a plate is more than justified. Thanks for the great evening!"

"Pretty chic and relatively new place, with a lot of bright furniture and beautiful view, near the valley station of the chair lift. Great terrace. Nice parking. I was here on weekends with a group of 8 people after a hike. We were served quickly and reliably. However, the pieces of cake filled with woodberries were quite small and thirsty. The creamy cappuccino reconciled one again..."

"We were eating our silver wedding in the forest house today. The service was very friendly and very attentive, in no way intrusive. The food was a poem. As an appetizer, we had Beef Tatar. Beautifully dressed and delicious. At the main course we decided on the Lammkeule (day recommendation), the Wiener Schnitzel vom Kalb and the Kalbsleber Berliner Art. Also for this only best scores! At the end there was the caramelised Kaiserschmarrn. The most delicious we've ever eaten. A warm thank you for a wonderful evening."
