"It's simple, honest, Italian food. Freshly cooked, flavorful, with a small menu, and nothing more. No excessive sauces, no microwaves, no canned stuff, no old meat. Just perfectly cooked Italian food cooked by Italians.I enjoyed the Chicken Piccatta. Sauce is homemade with olive oil and wine, pasta is al dente, the chicken filet was perfect not too mushy, not overcooked. Sauce sticks to the pasta, so they're cooking the pasta correctly. Simple. Flavorful and fresh without being excessive.The bread is great, too. Great dough, nice texture.Dessert is alright it's prepackaged Tiramisu but I enjoyed it. (They're not dishonest about the desserts, you can see them in cellophane wrapping in the entrance.)It's one of the better Italian restaurants I've been to in America. Service is great too with the owners and staff, and the ambiance is cozy and honest. You're basically eating out of an Italian home kitchen and that's what it is."

"Carlos and Shay welcome all to their small restaurant diner cafe. Everyday, they offer homemade empanadas, soups, and a couple of choices for meal of the day. In addition, they sell a full array of sandwiches, snacks, and small meals. I keep coming back for their warm welcome and their outstanding spinach empanadas and homemade soup. I have tried many different soups over the years, and liked every one. Prices are inexpensive.You'll be back, just as I keep coming back."

"The first time I ate there it was magical. Everything was homemade. From the whip cream on the fluffy pancakes, to the bread for toast. Even the corned beef was the best I ever had. My drink was a tomato juice and they added a celery stick. And the orange juice was fresh squeezed. The line was long and the wait took forever, but it was worth it! Jump to yesterday. There was no line, no waiting, and the place wasn’t even half full. Our food was FAR from magical. The corned beef was from a can and tasted like dog food. I asked for two over easy eggs in top. I got over hard in the side. The hash browns were not fully cooked and came from a frozen bag. My tomato juice tasted like it came from an old can. Even the toast was burnt with no butter. It will be the last time I will eat there. It was a nightmare."

"This restaurant is underrated and has been in existence for as long as I can remember...lived in area for 31 years. It has been recently renovated. Much of the help has been there forever and the owner is always present. I love their burgers. Last night I had the best sesame seared tuna and chili. My wife enjoyed her salid alot. Added bonus is the delicious and plentifull biscuits that are served by one dedicated server."
