"if I could give this place 10 or even 20 stars, I swear. I had the glazed pecan french toast (feeded strawberry topping) and it was amazing! my friend had the omelett of the meat lover (add american cheese) and his was good, but he said he wished he had mine. l 347 of 20.12.2013, p. 1.) the manager (who has very cool tattoos as a side note, lol) welcomed us very sincerely and cordially as soon as we came in. (yes, I think I was told to his name) my friend does not speak English and with more than one thing, the manager has tried to ask him whether everything in order in the Spanish he knew and they do not even know how much I appreciated it. (not everyone is so nice to someone who does not speak English so that really, really touches my heart everyone was sooo nice and attentive. our waitress was the sweetest and most honest, I think all workers in the restaurant were asked at some point during our meal if we needed something and if we were in order. a cook even came out of the line to put more whipped cream on my French toast without even asking me. Unfortunately we only visited chicago when we live in mi, so we will not be able to be regular, but if we live here, we would be sure. as a side note they only accept cash, but they have a cash machine at the entrance. it is somewhat more expensive than others diner, but it is more than well worth it. you have to try. a special thanks to all in the mac’s restaurant. bless you all. you didn't just fill our stomachs, you filled our hearts."
