"I went to the newly opened Johnny's Korean Fried Chicken and Ramen side of this shop. First, I have to say that the food does not have the traditionally known Korean fried chicken flavors. It is Chinese fried chicken, through and through. So, if you want Korean fried chicken, you will be sorely disappointed, as I was. (I was raised on a Chinese grandmother's home cooking for 30+ years. But, if you're looking for Chinese fried chicken, look no further, this spot hits that spot!! It's delicious, juicy, and filled with that good chicken flavor! The sauces are good and tasty, also more Chinese than Korean, and it's better than any KFC around. The servers were really kind and helpful with making choices. There were kids around (well well behaved and others not as much which was strange but whatever. And the shop was clean, the bathrooms were much nicer than expected, and the tables were cleaned after each customer. If they had trash cans around, I would have tossed our trash before leaving to simplify the work for them. And Amanda did her best to answer my questions (especially since I did have quite a few questions. Just to add, their fried rice cake isn't tteokbokki. They just take the rice pellets, put them on sticks, and fry them... which is a great Chinese snack but NOT a Korean snack. So, yes... a good Chinese food spot but NOT a Korean food spot."
