"My husband and his parents ate here on our first night in PEC and what a delight. The space is a converted one room school house and the walls still have maps and the chalkboard. The service was very personable and friendly and the space...is a great example of Canadiana. The food is influenced by the chef’s Mohawk heritage and her desire to connect people with local products. For instance, instead of Brussel sprouts which were listed on the menu, we had asparagus as it was grown and available locally. Additionally, all the dishes included morel mushrooms as she had foraged them wild that afternoon. The trout and wild rice was delightful and the short ribs were melt in the mouth. I also enjoyed an amazing cocktail with maple syrup from a local producer. All in all a wonderful evening don’t miss it on your next visit to the County!"
