"Riley, our server, and Kara (hope I have your name correct), who was manning the host position, were on top of everything; accommodating and thoughtful. From Riley’s knowledge of the menu and kitchen to Kara maneuvering our reservation (we were driving, our ETA in flux), they made our evening! Along with…original drinks, I had the Garden Variety, a smooth celery tequila, mezcal and Cointreau concoction, which was perfection with my dinner of scrumptious starters. Order the Smoked Trout, if you love labneh…yum! Billy’s entree, a mouth-watering Pan Fried Walleye Pike with Merlot beans, rice cakes and braised collard greens left little room for dessert. Yet…we ordered the Crème Fraiche Panna Cotta with Rhubarb glaze and dollop of Chantilly cream, melt-on-your-tongue tangy, sweet and light, with no regrets. 40 North, with your cozy bookshop backdrop, sparkly bar (and bartenders, shout out to Josh you know how to mesmerize and sate both eye and appetite. Besides, you had us at (hello your whimsical retro salt and pepper shakers. First time, surely not our last!"

"I really loved the ambiente this place and would be a cute place for a date night. they offer byob, and with a wine and beer shop directly around the corner, it is easy to get something on the way. I was very excited that her panang curry had no fish sauce! they have inherited what is not my favorite viggar, but overall very tasty. many appetizers and options to choose from."

"Wow, this is truly excellent food! Top 2 best restaurants in the area Penn Hills/Monroeville, maybe the best. If you are anywhere near it, come to Fun Asian Bistro! I was very pleasantly surprised with the prices, flavors, and portions. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls, a Philadelphia roll, and a Pittsburgh roll. My favorite roll is definitely the Pittsburgh roll. It is huge, heavy, and delicious! The sauce is somewhat sweet, but it complements the savoriness of the sushi perfectly. All the rolls were rolled expertly and came with 8 pieces. The Pittsburgh roll had a tasty, crispy breading. It is packed with deliciousness, and you can clearly taste the crab. It costs $11.50 here, but similar rolls cost about $16 elsewhere so it's a great deal! The Philadelphia roll was quite good as well. It had plenty of cream cheese, which tasted fresh. The avocado was extremely fresh as well, and it was cut uniformly! The salmon itself was amazing. Super tender, smoky, and all around delicious. Spring rolls were tasty and pretty cheap. You get 2 for $4. It's packed with vegetables and thin noodles. The outer shell is a bit thicker than the typical spring roll, but it's still crispy. The sauce has a good balance of spice and sweetness. Overall, I can't wait to return to the Fun Asian Bistro. The staff seemed friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable! Just be warned that the road to the restaurant has a few potholes (that's the only issue! Other than that, AMAZING and I will come back for more sushi and teriyaki!"

"I went with my friend and I got the Oreo Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Milk Foam and my friend got a Mojito. We both loved our drinks and the size of the drink is pretty decent for the price point (boba pricepoint tho lol). The place was pretty crowded, we went around 830 on a Friday evening. Sometimes it’s hard to find space to stand because so many people are waiting for drinks which is why I’d say the service can be kinda slow. But Overally great experience and definitely plan to continue to go."

"Seeing the picture, it makes sense the "corn" is a taco, but as A pictureless side I was confused. I apos;m sure my request also confused the restaurant. The bowl was good, as long as I don apos;t compare it to Chipotle. I guess the sauces are to compensate for the steamed rice, similar to what you apos;d get with Chinese. All The veggies seemed fresh I liked that pineapple salsa."

"The food here is truly fantastic! Everything is cooked to-order and fresh. I got the spicy spaghetti, which is a take on drunken noodles, and it was a huge portion and very flavorful. The couple running the place could not be nicer and they're very dedicated to creating a great experience. The restaurant is tucked back in a strip of businesses so it can be easy to miss, but it's so worth stopping in! Service: Dine in"

"to start with, they must show their Kovid vaccine card to get to the restaurant. the personal was extraordinary as all the dishes we had. this is probably the best dinner we had in pitsburgh, since we were here 18 months ago, and we tried many restaurants. all appetizers were well executed. the evening dinners were also exceptional. we tried all desserts and they were also excellent. this is definitely worth a visit."

"Small and cozy spot in Brookline. Nicely decorated, very clean and super friendly helpful staff. This is not fast food, so plan to relax and enjoy a few moments to talk or just relax with a cup of coffee. There's likely a line, I'd recommend waiting in it! Everything I had was unique, full of flavor and texture. I sat and was impressed how everything from the drinks made in front of me to the food I could see being finished in the kitchen was done deliberately and with care. "Finally got a chance to stop here at this unique find. We really enjoyed our visit. This is not your typical bakery offering tons of sugary cakes and cookies. Our visit took us on exploratory trip showcasing fresh breads, sandwiches, desserts and other baked goods. We selected several options and enjoyed the butterscotch dessert the best! Everything was very light and fluffy with the cream filled items not at all sugary sweet and buttercream heavy however; all still satisfying to the pallet and to your sweet tooth. Pricing for each pastry around $3.00 or a little more. The location was a very busy, local hotspot. Check it out."

"My daughter?s favorite place to go when she was living in Pittsburgh for college. This place has a lot of varieties of heathy food choices. I couldn?t figure out what I want from the menu, so I just chose the Create Your Own bowl. I tried the roots rice as the base which is seasoned purple rice. This rice tasted very good. I combined roots rice and Arcadian mix (mixed greens) as the base. I chose BBQ tofu for the protein. I added sweet potatoes, beets, charred corn, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, avocado (extra charge), and cilantro lime as my dressing. This dressing is low acidity. It has a hint of honey. This is the best dressing I?ve ever had. I?m glad I followed my daughter?s suggestion. I definitely will go back here when I?m around this area. I wish they have a restaurant in MD."

There's fair amount of availability at mid-morning but parking is packed by noon. II. SERVICE They have machines to allow you to grind your coffee beans here and scales so you can get the ratio you want. III. QUALITY Haven't had a chance to try the beans yet but I'll assume they're full of flavor IV. CAPACITY Fair amount of people coming and going"

"Carmella’s never disappoints. The food is delicious. We shared the crispy Brussels, and the mussels and then for my entree the Wagyu Bolognese gnocchi. Did I say the food was delicious? "our server was very sweet and offers great service! eating was not as excellent as I remembered the past. we had the 35th anniversary special. 6 oz filet, with creamy spinat and kartoffels, for $35. the filets were slightly overboiled, and we felt that everything needed more seasonal work. we had a feeling underwhelmed."
