"My husband and I attended Richardson's dinner last week. We sat inside (It was a very hot evening, so that was not a brain for us. The dining room is tastefully decorated with temporary colors and fabrics. Our server was wonderful. She was attentive without floating, answered our questions well and kept our wine glasses full. I ordered the scallops; my husband ordered the duck breast. Both were fantastic! A wonderful surprise for this country was that all sides were as good as the most important ducks. The Blueberry Hibiscus Marmelade, who arrived with my scallops, was divine as the Rhabarb sweet and acidic sauce that accompanied the duck breast. I enjoyed a beautiful Rhubarb crab for dessert. I almost never eat dessert, but I could have this every night for the rest of my life! I was lucky to thrive in five star restaurants in Paris, Rome, London and top restaurants in New York, Washington and San Francisco. Richardson has his own, and quite beautiful, with everyone. The food prepared this well and this thoughtful is a rarity that Richardson has much to be proud of. Don't miss this treasure! It is worth a long trip and overnight stay to eat here."
