"This was probably the worst meal of my life.. My boyfriend and I couldn?t wrap our heads around how the restaurant has such high reviews. To begin, we walked into a smoke filled restaurant, in which I brought to the waitresses? attention. My comment was dismissed, but later solidified when they realized they left bread burning on their panini press. Next, we got the appetizer which seems fine at first, until we got to the bottom and a handful of the calamari were stale I thought I just bit into plastic. Finally, my boyfriend got the flounder franchise, which was filled with bones and the egg batter was still runny. I ordered the lobster ravioli thinking ?how can they mess this up?? well... they did. The filling wasn?t terrible, but i?ve had better. What ruined it for me was the sauce if you can call it that. I would say they made the sauce by adding a bit of cream to nacho cheese sauce.. I was appalled. I usually don?t write poor reviews and i?ve worked in a restaurant for 4 years and i understand the struggle, but the food was just not editable. Stay away. And, note, this restaurant is separate from uncle vinny?s which was packed. I know they somehow have the same cook, or are intertwined somehow, but we should have gone there. we certainly won?t be going back here."
