"This is little coffee gem literally hidden in the middle of nowhere. In some residential area on intersection of local roads. But despite this location and humble appearance it has serious quality, flavor and variety of coffee compatible with top notch city places. It is definitely worth diversion from you route just to pick up a cup over here. They have pretty big backyard where you can chill and enjoy your coffee with sun."

"I 'm extremely picky and particular in who I leave a review for, but in today 's age when I come across a business doing things exceptionally well I have to call them out on it! The low bar first: Their coffee and food is delicious! Not just thrown in a pot and poured to the customers, there is thought and deliberation as to how their coffee and food is made. I have stopped there for coffee at least twice a week for a few months now and it would be a waste of my money to go anywhere else when they are so head and shoulders above in terms of quality. When I ask for egg on my toasted croissant, it 's made for me, not thrown together. There 's even thought as to the packaging, asking me if I need a fork and knife, the way it 's wrapped and put in the to go container that I don 't get anywhe else. Service: Everyone there is friendly and positive and actually takes care to serve the customer. My coffee is actually stirred with the cream and sugar added. There is a smile on the employee 's faces and it is clear they _care_ about what they are doing for you. Atmosphere: The vibe inside is awesome and although I 've personally not taken advantage of their huge outdoor hang out area, I can 't wait to be able to. The only ding I can give them that is totally unrelated to their actions is the parking, but the worst I 've experienced is having to go a few cars past their location to find a spot on the street so I can run in and grab my coffee and/or food but that 's more of a call out than a criticism. If you are anywhere near Red Bank or Shrewsbury and love coffee, they are worth the pit stop!"

"I have previously enjoyed Happy Hour in the bar area at a high top table Once this occasion I reserved thru Open Table a high top in bar area and upon being seated our server had to check with the bartender and the owner that we could not get Happy Hour drinks or food at our table and we had to sit at the bar This info should be stated on Open Table and posted at the restaurant Also please note that on a Friday at 5 pm the entire bar area was not crowded and remained that way for the next few hours"

"I placed an order for takeout in early October 2020. The person I spoke with on the phone was very easy to understand and took down my order accurately. We picked up the food and it was ready at the time the restaurant said it would be. Upon arriving home (30-minute trip), the food was still hot and fresh. We ordered a few sushi rolls and their chicken katsu dinner. The Katsu dinner was very good (4/5), while he sushi was average (3/5). Since the freshness, speed and quality of service were great, I'll average the score to 4/5. A fun tidbit, and something I wish more restaurants would do, was that they placed the hot soups in disposable coffee cups. It made consuming the soup much more convenient without needing any utensils."

"Great pasta and dessert. Skip the tomahawk steak, low quality steak. We were seated by the stairs, asked to be seat away but host just ignored us, asked again and host responded ?I don?t know?. 2 hours into dinner, more than 5 tables stay empty, so we could have changed our table. The foot traffic by the stairs was very disturbing. Waiters were rushing down the stairs and almost ran into my daughter?s seat. A little disappointed and really couldn?t enjoy our dinner."

"My husband and I stopped by for a late lunch on a weekday and found the restaurant to be very quiet at that time. However, we could tell that it likely gets much busier in the evenings and for happy hour. We ordered a caesar salad with grilled salmon on top, which was delicious, and my husband enjoyed his pulled pork belly sandwich with good french fries. While the salmon was tasty, I found the salad to be just okay due to the dressing and sprinkled toppings. The service was friendly and attentive, with the waitress even bringing me some bread upon request, despite it not being a typical lunch item. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant."

"We had a lovely time with our good friends, only problem was the pour of the wine we received from our waitress. Seems that the wines are all poured by the server and not the bar tender, only specialty drinks were from the bar. With that said, the pour for my spouses first glass was below the normal and when he mentioned to the server, she saw no problem with it. Just so happened my specialty drink was delivered from a kind gentlemen who, I believe, was the floor mgr, and we had him look at the pour and he agreed it was below the norm. He said he would fix it and had our server return to replenish it. Now, thats what I call service! He was very watchful and paid close attention to the servers in the window area, where we were seated. Overall, we love the place and had a wonderful meal!"

"Great looking place our steak was amazing my daughters not so good. Waiter was nice forgot one of our guests items he ordered. French onion soup was delish. Sides were just ok didn’t enjoy my Caesar salad but our guest loved his wedge. Over all good seriously expensive they added the tip on which was a little over 21% so my friend was annoyed. Overall a good spot"

"He stole our daughter and friend here. We all enjoyed our meals. Very generous portions. Delicious free Pita bread and seasoned oil. Loved the Spanokopita and I am very picky! I was just here on Friday and Saturday night. It can be very loud, so if this is a concern, I would suggest going sooner or a week night. You will not be disappointed!"

"Breakfast Lunch only. Excellent service, always. Standouts are the their salads in general, BBQ ribs, French dip roast beef sandwich. Chicken salad, egg salad platters and sandwiches. Diner basics are very good, burgers, pancakes are exceptional, eggs, grilled cheese, fries, onion rings. They make their own cheesecake Owner always present and checks in with customers. During the covid: I try to always be outside but the dining room, counter are open. I am happy to report they use real silverware dishes outside. Especially helpful when it’s windy, as it is today. Areas that need some attention. Omelets are sometimes overdone. Coffee is always fresh. Bathrooms are clean. Parking is easy and free this part of town. A big deal if you know Red Bank. Most of their business now appears to be take out and delivery. Owner has been improving the dining room. I am a longtime customer, first review with current owner."

"So disappointed just got ripped off at House of Chong so bad, we wanted to try a new place my sweet and sour chicken (only a few pieces of chicken in my combo mostly rice) is so over cooked it’s inedible. "We just became devoted TEMPLE customers. Yesterday was our first visit here. They did everything to perfection. We devoured our way through spring rolls, corn chicken soup, a whole Peking duck, hit chocolate lava cake with ice cream. We were in a bit of a hurry to catch a show. Next time we will take more pictures. TEMPLE is the best Chinese restaurant in this area! They are well worth their prices."

"Over all it was a pleasurable experience. Dining area and decor was nicely done. Brussel sprouts appetizer was fantastic, smoked wings were great! The two pizzas we got, however, were not to our expectations and that is what we were looking forward to. Server was very pleasant as well. We will definitely be back to give it another try.
