"Word of mouth will tell you that this place is not just a great place to eat that it is an experience. That's exactly what this place is! Short escape is the definition of a hidden gem, dressed in a small town as an inconspicuous home on a side street. That's one of the nice things, it's here, but you need to know what you're looking for. I don't have to tell you that food is amazing, you've probably heard it before or you wouldn't have visited this place. They serve a four-course menu here, and they give you only a few options. This time it started with a small side salad with Ranch. Crisp salad and the famous taste of a good ranch dressing. Next, a sisable bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup was brought out. This soup was smooth and tasteful with a rich stock that you can only get from scratch. Course three was the meat. I had the baked chicken filled with a rosemary broccoli and cheese and rice with diced tomatoes. The chicken fell from the bone, the broccoli was well seasoned, and I learned that tomatoes taste amazingly on rice. Can't go wrong. The option fish and geese is also very good with a large part of fried fish and smooth geese. Finally, a large piece of moist cake came out to complete everything. It was the perfect end of the meal. Here's the peach tea. It comes in a large glass embroidered with fruit and sings with the taste of fresh georgia peaches in a way that no other peach has tea I have ever tasted. Just delicious. The food is not even the best part of it. The best part is the wonderful and friendly ladies who cook this amazing food that warms your whole soul. They tend to the moats, cook all food and make entertainment all without any degradation of the quality of the service you would expect in other restaurants. The atmosphere of this place is a bit back in time, maybe to a grandparent house when family, kindness and home cooked food meant something. It means something here. On the way they tell you to leave $10 per person in a glass. Make sure to bring cash or run to ATMs over the street. A long journey and worth the experience!"
