"the vegan takeover was absolutely delicious. we had a late reservation so that the kitchen closed before we had a chance to try everything on the menu but we would definitely have. I come back to the next vegan takeover and in any case during their regular menu. they have so many amazing sounding vegetarian / vegan options. it felt almost like a michael star restaurant and I will recommend it to all my friends! the place had a great energy and they would be comfortably dressed casual or imaginative. 10/10 experience"

"The food was consistently good, but there were a few issues. There weren't enough straws for the number of drinks, and the coffees, although they had different flavors, weren't labeled, so we had to guess which one was which. Several sauces we had ordered were missing, and there was only one napkin provided. While the service was quick, I would prefer if they took a bit more time to ensure everything was packed correctly rather than rushing it out."

"We went here on our trip for our honeymoon, the restaurant made it a very welcoming experience. They even gave us souvenir menus with “congratulations newly weds” on them. I got the filet mignon and she got the stuffed salmon. Both entrees were perfectly cooked and delicious. We showed up early to get parking across the street but when we left there was no spots. They were very accommodating of us arriving earlier than our reservation. Our waiter was excellent and very knowledgeable. I’ve already recommended all of my friends for when they come into Richmond."

"Richmond Va speakeasy bar.. This is a Speakeasy Seriously. They have a password that changes all the time. It's disguised as a book store, but with a pull on the tall bookshelves, it opens into a large period correct , prohibition era cocktail lounge and restaurant. The selection of spirits is full of rare whiskeys and bourbons. Small batch runs from small high end distilleries. The wait staff is top notch and with the ragtime music coming from the player piano in the corner, it feels as though we have traveled back in time. The menu items are incredible. The duck wings are amazing. As is everything else I have had. The food is also reminiscent of the time and spirit of the...read more"

"In the city visit the area and reservations for breakfast / brunch. Enjoy the atmosphere very lightly airy and clean. The staff was attentive and friendly. We decided to dive and had no problem to sit down, but there was a very generous covered terrace with many options as well. The drinks card and the dishes were perfect. Really something for everyone. Great brunchspot, but can be a bit expensive on the drinks. Group lovers include avocado and toast, french toast bread pudding and avocado tomatoes omelet. Cheers!"

"gyoza and galaga roll were decent. veggie futomaki was just okay and the cocktails were $10 each for a leaky bag with maybe 5oz of liquid total. considering this cost $50 i will not be ordering again. save your money for a restaurant that deserves it!"

"Good Italian food. Took my date here for dinner the other night as we both wanted to check it out, then go out for a few drinks and enjoy the nightlife. The restaurant is located downstairs so it is not handicap assessable, just want to put that out there not that it affected us. The restaurant did have that romantic feel to it and the staff seemed very prompt and attentive however it really wasn't that busy. They had a wide variety of dishes and a extensive wine menu so you could get anything ranging from $40-$1800/bottle. Interesting items on their menu such as frog legs and asparagus parmesan. We do like wine but since we were going out drinking later didn't really want any, she...read more"

"Nice looking place. Didn't dine in, ordered pick up. Food was ok. For the price I was expecting much better. Also, the cashier lies about the number of scallops that would come with the dish. Very bad service. Sushi King food is better and cheaper. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4"

"I really loved this place. Great food and fantastic wine. I've never had such a juicy and tender ****. Wow! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our celebration was a special night. We will definitely return. You have a wine club you can also join, which has many cool advantages. You have a whole tasting room in front of the restaurant if you just want to go for the wine. I would definitely recommend a reservation as it is almost always quite busy."

"We ate at Firebirds last night. We were served by Andre, who we thought was an excellent waiter. He didn't miss anything! He was always at the top of things and had a great sense of humor. The food was very good and all four of us enjoyed the evening very much. We'll be back soon."

"The decor is very simple and I expected it to be a Hamburger place with a limited menu. I was wrong. The menu is extensive and the food and service are both very good. The Chicken Caesar Salat is one of the best I ever had and is the spinach cake from this world. I'm not crazy about breakfasts, but lunch and dinner are definitely worth it in."

"Nice and romantic little room, I love him here. Our server was attentive and friendly. Street parking and a parking garage nearby. We ordered crabcakes, scallops and crab soup to begin with. The scallops were well cooked and had a ton of taste. Crab cakes were more like small pattys, but still very tasteful and I liked the house tartaric acid sauce made them. The soup was really good, but not too much crab meat inside. I ordered the Hard Shell Pasta and my friend ordered the Oven-Roasted Rockfish. My pasta came with lots of seafood and the tomatoes Basilikum marinara was delicious. The rock was very well cooked and had a great sailor. I ordered a glass of the Seven Falls Cabernet and he ordered the Apricot Old Fashioned and later the Blackberry Bramble. The old fashion was somewhat different from your standard old-fashioned, not so strong and it seemed a little lacking in taste. I loved the Blackberry Bramble, it was sweet and easy to drink. Overall I loved the ambience of the place and the food was delicious."

"This was our first visit and it most certainly won’t be our last. They are definitely 5 star worthy but I will explain why they got 4 from our experience. Let’s start at the beginning with our appetizers. Calamari is always a must. I just love the little tentacles and they served a bunch of them. I was thrilled because most of the time, you only get a few but this was a generous portion with lots of little arms. The second appetizer was the grilled octopus. This is where they lost a few points because the $17 tentacle over white beans was pretty tiny. It was tender and nicely cooked so we didn’t complain. For the mains, I got the bone in veal Parmesan and hubs got braised beef ravioli with a meatball added. My goodness, the veal was super tasty. The red sauce was very balanced. The meatball, Mmmm Mmmm. His ravioli was very good but I liked mine better. Served with fresh, hot bread and a spring mix salad. We were very pleased and we look forward to our next visit. The service was friendly and the foods were presented at their appropriate times. Just an all around great experience."

"This was the worst experience, I have had at Ruth Chris!! There was a table behind us that was loud and obnoxious!! Even our waitress said, she could hear them on the other side of the restaurant! A manager, should have come by and politely asked them to hold it down!! This was a very poor representation of your restaurant!! Paul Rutherford 804-241-0442"

"My party had reserved the VIP experience and were looking forward to the additional perks that came with it. However, we were disappointed to learn that this option was not very popular and was being phased out, according to our server. This did not give us a VIP feeling. The first course was not available, so we received a potato stuffed with green goddess instead. The "double dippers" were not impressive and did not complement the cheese well. The staff did not inquire about the occasion we were celebrating, and overall, the experience did not feel special. We would not choose this option again, especially considering the high price of nearly $80 per person."

"This is the absolute best place for carnivores around. It is meat Valhalla. They also have an amazing salad bar if you're looking for a lighter but still fantastic meal option (for instance, their lobster bisque is one of my favorite things in the whole world). The manager, Brett, seems to always be there, working hard to keep the food, service, and the atmosphere absolutely top notch. If you're looking to celebrate a special occasion, have an incredible date, thank clients, show your employees some appreciation, or just enjoy a feast then Texas de Brazil won't let you down. Everything is amazing but the garlic sirloin, the Brazilian sausage, the flank steak, and the filet really stand out as highlights of the meal. I only wish they would bring sushi back to the salad bar!"

"So beautiful place, great for Date Night. The second floor is very private and quiet that I was looking for. Started with fried oysters that were fresh and very tasty prepared. Also Max's Poutine, loaded French fries, had what was nice, but I'm not a big fan of this court. I had her special of the night recommended by the server, Chimichuri steak with potatoes and vegetables, so a great combination of flavors, I really enjoyed it. Shrimp Grey was also a great presentation, with beautiful acidic kick. Server was easy, with a lot of knowledge! Since it was a special night for Fiance and me, we have champagne in the house. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Really impressed by this restaurant, other good French things will try again!"
