"This is a very small restaurant. My experience started off on the wrong foot. You should know they don't have restrooms for customers. No music. No water. Only bottled Costco water for $2.50 each. Table service happens after you order at the counter. The person who rang me up brought the food to the table and checked in on me regularly. The floors, windows, and tables were clean. The windows are lined with bright multicolor neon lights. I ordered spring rolls, panang curry, a side of rice and a water for $30 (20231019). The pandemic and inflation have me all messed up on value for eating out but it felt expensive to me. So how was the food? The spring rolls were good. Not standout great but certainly good, stuffed with fresh, crisp ingredients. The generous serving of peanut sauce in a plastic container on the side was better than others I've had with fresh crushed peanuts on top. The panang curry with chicken was pretty tasty. I got level 3 spice and it was just enough to kick it up a notch but not overpowering. I probably could have gone with a 4 but didn't want to risk it. The curry sauce was the perfect consistency, not too thick, not too runny. The chicken meat was great, no gristle and tender. The veggies were good, not soggy. So the food basically counteracts the atmosphere. In other words, get it to go."

"Dining at Rancho Cielo is always a satisfying and inspiring experience! The menu (food and wine) offers delicious options at an amazing value. Each course shines. I loved that many of the ingredients for the dishes are locally sourced (and we have great local wines, of course). You cannot find better service, friendliness, or a more compelling mission...helping young people succeed...ANYWHERE..I highly recommend dining at Ranch Cielo!"

"As always the food is great. They are open for take out only right now, because of the virus, and yet they had a car line for pickup. Customer service is exceptional, 3 workers coming out to take names at cars with masks and getting your food into vehicles. We ordered Blackened Chicken Alfredo with Salad and Bread for 4-6 people. Like always, we loved the meal. Thank you ."

"Dont know why I dont come here more often but that's about to change because whenever I order something its always very very good. Elli's never disappoints and I'm glad I came here. I ordered a tri tip sandwich and it was outstanding. Not huge fan of the huge onion rings i got but they were good as well. I will become a regular from now on. The staff there always greets you with a smile and made my visit a pleasant one. Thank you again"

"If Yelp had a ZERO rating this establishment would definitely get it with no hesitation. I ordered a honeydew boba tea and something was off with the taste. I ask them to fix it and they told me I was the only one to complain. After telling me this 3 times I told them I didn't want anything and threw it in the trash. Customer service is very much lacking. I recommend going elsewhere."

"It was our first time here. Kids were back to school so me and my husband decided to have a simple breakfast date. Outside was nice, it's even nicer and spacious inside. The staff were very friendly too! We ordered Garlic Bagel Sausage and Egg Sandwich, All Seed Bagel with Cream Cheese and Tomatoes and Calamari Sandwich! All were delicious and fresh! You cannot beat a freshly baked bagel/bread! We will be going back here soon! I highly recommend this place!"

"The food here is always fresh and tastes great, and at a good value. Feels like the service could be a tad better, I feel like it's always something when I come here. Be it a hard time seating even with over 45 minutes before close, or not being able to be seated when it's a party of 2 and my other party is parking when the restaurant isn't even half full. Understand they have to follow certain practices but seems like they could read the situation and ensure a great experience. All in all, will continue to come back because of the food."

"Several weeks ago went to McDonald's drive-thru ordered a copy got to the window to pay I asked if I could order a small fry was told to go back in line through the drive-thru and placed the order that was her new policy kind of find out I got corporate headquarters got a call from them the following day this is in Salinas Al branch kind enough to tell me what the procedures were was lied to by the person that was working at the window and was taking care of by the headquarters so for that I give him five stars you get address the problem and then tell me straight out without trying to hide anything that it was uncalled for took care of me and I appreciate it"

"We searched for nearby food options on Google and found this restaurant. We came here for a work lunch and had a good time. They had a lunch special for filet mignon, so we both ordered that. However, we were surprised to see that the filet mignon was a small 2 oz piece chopped into 5 pieces. Despite the small portion, it was delicious. We would like to come back and try the teppanyaki grill next time. The service was dine-in."

"Been coming here for the years, the food is usually delicious, except for how I just found a hair in my pho. However, this review is mostly for the staff. As a server myself, i feel like it is important to be attentive and check on guests often. The only time I saw my server was when she took my order, never checked up on me after I got my food. I tried to be patient and understanding, but as slow as the restaurant is, the service shouldn't be lacking."

"This is my kind of place! We are new to the area but could tell that this place has been a Salinas staple for at least two generations. Old steakhouse diner vibe with high back booths. Clientele were local businessmen and locals who want an elevated lunch or dinner. Although we weren't having cocktails, it was nice to know they have a full bar. We started with fried calamari. It was pretty good, but nothing we will order again. My wife ordered the avocado bacon cheese burger and I had the French dip. Plenty of roast beef on a French roll with very flavorful au jus. The fries were nicely seasoned and crispy. I had a bite of my wife's burger. It was a flame grilled burger, cooked to the correct temperature with fresh l/t/o and pickles. It was really tasty. Service: Ofelia was our server. She was super friendly and checked on us from time to time. This will be one of our regular stops when we move full time near this community. It will be worth the drive."

"After trying three times, my wife finally requested a refund at this restaurant. She ordered a veggie burrito but it came with wet sauce and no meat. It would have been helpful if the staff had mentioned that the wet sauce contained meat. I had ordered a shredded meat burrito with no cream and extra cheese. However, when our orders arrived, her burrito was more like a rice burrito with no shredded beef, beans, or cheese. The Pacifico beer was good, but it's worth noting that the wet sauce contains meat, so it's not suitable for vegetarians or vegans."

Today 05/16/22 took wife for lunch David brought our drinks two Blue Dolphins margarita with premium Patron tequila and a beer Modelo cold draft glass Salt around the rim with some sliced limes thank you David then Matt took out order chips and salsa with guacamole small Texas cheese fries and my wife ordered the lunch special shrimp tacos black beans and rice and I ordered just bacon burger with fries and house salad recommended by Matt it was delicious. The food was brought piping hot buy a server name Victoria she brought us extra napkins are utensils and had came back several times through a meal to make sure is there anything else we needed so we ordered another drink for the wife another margarita. Job well done David Sean Victoria and Matt our visit there at lunch was excellent great service great vibe The Establishment was very tidy and the restroom wow amazing very clean we will definitely come back again keep up the good work job well done today."
