"At the end of the weekend we wanted to enjoy something. We heard that a pizzeria was opened in the cinema, which can be tested. So we drove over the mountain to Schorndorf. Above the mountain, however, the snow was quite funny or better half-lusty and we looked briefly at the reversal. Well, the consideration was rather one-sided: the woman I love was after that because she doesn't feel very comfortable with such road conditions. Environment In the valley it was more relaxed and so we arrived at the time that was requested during the previous reservation. Near the cinema it is not so relaxed with the parking situation. There are a number of parking spaces nearby, but these are likely to be occupied at unfavorable times. We found one outside the door. That was good. The newly furnished restaurant is reached by a double door wind and comes to the vaults. Inside it is divided into two sub-rooms that are quite modern. Brown tones and beige dominate the interior and thus the eye. Sleep well and a track noble, it's a bit too cool. I'll never be warm. But some like it and that's good. Service In the middle of the heights, of which a well maintained waiter came to meet us and kindly greeted us a little emotionless. This moved with him for a while, and I was amazed that he later had a different face and even shredded at the neighboring table. Okay, I guess it was a bad time for him at the beginning. Another waiter was probably responsible for our table and immediately much more laborious. According to Bon Chef, on request, but “just” the boss in the room. Generally, we were well maintained. The maps (nix brewery cover and clear-sighted envelopes and only later the request for drinks came. It was asked at reasonable times when everything was fine, the dishes were suitable. I must mention that the common salad served with additional plates came only about 5 minutes before the main dishes. Some people like that. We like the salad very much together with the main dish. That's why we did it. The waiters were always reachable (which naturally influenced me during photography, and the final payment process was also made possible in time. Only the demand for dessert, coffee or the like remained. But this is also rarely considered by us, and therefore in our eyes no fauxpas for us as guests. Food: The map housed the popular offer awaited in the popular Italian restaurant. Pasta/Pasta (here, by the way, pizzas with pasta dresses and some meat and I also mean fish dishes. A tomato sauce was added to the whole. Now I always meant “al Forno” something with “baked”. Of course not. For this, the lasagna found a somewhat too dark area that should probably catch up for everyone. The slightly bitter taste was not the Bringer. That's why the tomato sauce kept very back. Too much. The pizza diavolo with salami, peperoni, extra cheese, garlic and “sharf” was warm and also very nice to look at. The edge, on the picture not so well recognizable, was airy and pleasant of consistency. The floor is quite thin and at first it is also somewhat firm. Unfortunately he drove up to the middle very Labbrig and soft. Also tastefully the dough could not be much. At the beginning, with the rather mild but spicy peperoni (from the glass and the “sharf” still taste very interesting, this lost completely with time. Somehow the pep (not the one from Munich! . Three stars. But I will judge the price/performance ratio so well. Although the foods had weaknesses, the price structure for the situation was quite favourable. Just like the rest of the restaurant made an impeccable impression. The question of completion remains: the kitchen has not only made the most exciting impression. Panned champignons are natural sattmakers. They were a bit weakly seasoned with oil. With a little more courage, they would have found real lovers in us. The potential was obvious, but unfortunately not on the table. We were vegetarian, we noticed later. But basically we don't care. It's just funny that this happened to the Greeks. Conclusion: It had cost so far. But even if almost all foods were missing here or there was a small but decisive trail. Maybe they should take more after the kitchen than after the Schlemmerblock. "My dear wife opened a house on the net that we already knew, but somehow not. Short information: Here was the “Domenico”, the “La Rondine” and now the “Nostos meze and more”. The first two still exist, but now in other houses, and we had already made our maintenance in the old house. Nostas now fails as a third party in the state. Some time ago it happened to us that we fed with the Greeks, randomly, only by various ancestors and supplements, and then we really enjoyed it. So at least my shooting direction was almost predetermined here, as my beloved gyro lit on the map by absence. We had already called during the afternoon closing time and a friendly “guest clear, no problem” was shared in 17:30. It is often so that if you are so short, you should find yourself in time. It's usually something. Here too. The room is also quite spacious and it should usually find a place. However, the kitchen could make sure that this could become more and more difficult. But also here no misery and satisfaction with the eaters. The Saganaki was Saganaki. You must like the plucked sheep cheese. Otherwise you'll never be a friend of it. But otherwise it tastes the same almost everywhere. I like him and my wife too. Here he came with a lemon slice. I even liked that very well. He even won that. What fell back was the grilled Peperoni. These were not bad, but did not correspond to expectations. Instead of the hot peperoni in the garlic oil bath Peperoni came in Art Antipasti. Cold. We were hoping otherwise. A more attentive look into the menu could have prevented this dilemma. Paperoni was one of the “cold appetizers”. Look at the grocery store! Then our paths separated. So the cuisine of my wife and mine. I went to pet food and my wife wanted something hearty. She ordered something. After roasted cheese croquettes (4.30 and tomato juices (3.90). The cheese croquettes were okay. But they were nothing special about the taste. I could have saved it. But I didn't know yet. But the tomato juices, small chopped tomato slices with also small chopped onions and what else I white fried was already a pound. Extremely intense in taste they loved me very much. I didn't know yet. The evening was still nice and entertaining and we left the house with an Ouzo and with the intention to come back soon. And that happened a week later. That I immediately forgot to make pictures about the conversations was the least reason. This time we had opened up there in a short time and with a plan B in the back of the head we had just entered the door (like a Monnemer Permanenthungriger (the new AVON consultant always likes to describe). At this time (again shortly after the evening opening time, the house was completely empty. But this time too it should be nice until we left. We were welcomed again and this time no friend asked us to change the table of our choice. The starters have not changed. Zaziki and Pita were repeatedly searched at the table. Again the taste covered with the previously experienced. This time, besides Saganaki, Bugiurdi (4.30 ), which we had discovered only elsewhere not too long ago, should enrich the beginning. Again to remember: Bugiurdi is melted with tomatoes, peppers, onions garlic and “irgend” herbal mixture. This one also tasted quite good here, although he did not come as an ally as he experienced in another house. Instead of a strong liquid, the consistency was not even so large, but tastefully it was “to order again”. While my dear wife almost naturally took the Kotopuolo Skares again, I tried not only the tomato juices, which again tasted very delicious, in the Greek peasant sausage with green spicy pepper in tomato sauce (4.30). We didn't have them too long and found them really good. Here she was pretty lazy and relatively boring in taste. The Greek farmers in the Fellbacher area seemed to have more courage than these in Schorndorf. But the tomato juices were rage again! Once the tomatoes are ready in the local garden, this is cooked. The recipe was handed over by a Greek acquaintance to my wife the next day. And again we did not leave this house unsatisfied. The Ouzo did not miss. But it was welcome and not for goodbye. Only the rest: It's clean here. Without a mistake. The toilets are in the UG. The input region can also be input only via stages. But this is usually the case in an old town. What was very pleasant here: It was a good room between the tables. Conclusion: Good mezze kitchen and the rest can be something. Even my beloved Gyros. We haven't been there for the last time."

"You heard a lot from the boiler house in Schorndorf. Mostly positive. I've never been there. This changed with an invitation that we wanted to accept. The boiler house has not only decorated its name since a brewery boiler. The boiler house is a former building. Eisenmöbelfabrik Arnold and is intended to record (or a steam engine for operation). In the meantime, the entire area was taken over by the town of Schorndorf, converted into an Arnold Galerie and now houses some retailers, cafes and the boiler house, which now acts as a brewery restaurant. In addition to the Arnold Areal, there is a second industrial break in Schorndorf, where the future development will surely be exciting: Bauknecht. But we come back to the gastronomic orientation of Gottlieb Daimler's birth town. In this case, the boiler house. The brick building is lonely on the surface. An industrial choir stone, probably no longer used intensively, tastes a gable side. External gastronomy is naturally empty this season. In summer it can be nice in this car-free area. If you pass a windfall in the entrance area, there are a few steps down. One enters an industrial building which is centrally determined by a counter and whose almost two-storey brewery boilers are integrated there. It is relaxed rustic and it made a welcoming impression on me. Centrally there is a "free staircase" which leads to the semicircular gallery and to the toilets. For more details on the impression of inner life, I refer to the pictures. On Sunday at 13 a.m. the house (still filled up to 3⁄4 and some service personnel who were dressed uniformly and thus immediately recognizable as such stood on the way. It took a small, very slightly unpleasant time until someone took us. These bright fauxpas immediately followed a second, as we accidentally took the table in the assumption that the wrong lady ran behind. Only then there was an enlightenment and the right table was rejected by another lady. In the further course the service was quite friendly and also for one or other fun. This was quite advantageous because there were still some other family members who did not go to the basement to laugh; the boxes were already on the otherwise exposed solid wooden table. Otherwise, the furniture was more rustic than elegant. On the wall a bench with seat cushion surfaces that were no longer really locked and could be pushed back and forth as desired. Something's gone. It was still cozy. The cutlery, along with stable paper napkins, are stuck in a beer crust on the table. Okay, the cards were there and the places were taken. So we stayed time to study the same before after a reasonable time the lady came back to the table to question the choice of drinks. Here's brewed in the house. It goes without saying that a house beer was taken. At least of me and my brother. A fine, pleasantly juicy yeast came to us and struck with something about the 3€ book after the memory protocol. I don’t know, but the price was at least not “from the world”. The other drinks are also suitable and cost-effective in the frame. The map included classics of Swabian and German cuisine. The additional salads were shown separately and had to be ordered separately. After a long fluctuation between pepper steak and onion roast (here called brewmasterlende) I then chose this (15.60). My dear wife chose cream carving and exchanged the late Zle in Pommes (9,80). We chose a small additional salad (4,20). After a corresponding time the salads came. Yeah, they were good. Pleasant dressing, everywhere, not just upstairs. Various salads usually made different or suitable. Some potato salad, herbal salad, radish salad and leaf salads (I probably forgot what was well cooked. And what I was very happy was another dressing hat in the bowl. So really enough. I like it very much! Known and here at GG I have rarely ordered my pear roast carrier. And that was good. From another service (both responsible for the kitchen delivery, the rust roast was more recommended than offered to the table. A short demand (I didn’t think about whether more rust roasts were ordered at our table and therefore tried to catch the right whether it was fried in a moderately rare way, a “yes clear” came back. Ok, the lady is better in the kitchen connection than in constant and direct customer contact. The other food came in a short order and all people at the table had their food in about 4 minutes. Almost everyone. My big little girl and my sister-in-law had to wait an unpleasant long time for her food and make each other courageous. Someday it was so far with them. The Braumeisterlende came with roast potatoes, peeled onions and in a roast sauce. Bratsauce should have been a bit stronger for my taste, but it was pretty good. Otherwise it was also a very good choice. The grate, which has barely roasted medium with a gradient to rarely, was absolutely perfect from the Gargrad (for me). Great and delicate taste, so please. The peeled onions about it added the very good impression. The roasted potatoes, also mostly beautifully roasted, were matched. At home they would bleed evenly, but in the restaurant I like that too; an application for my holden gave a positive feedback. ‘Lecker’. Good and delicate meat. Pleasant spices and beautiful, delicious cream sauce. Pommes like Pommes should be. Well done, Friteur! I was also allowed to try a piece of my plan B’s. The beer steak. A very juicy pig comb with a pepper crust (see picture). Very delicate and also super seasoned with pepper crust (but not on board!). I order the next time. In contrast to my usual habits and only because of the general potion after a dessert, I also ordered them. Eggs in the nest don't sound bad. Egg liqueur and vanilla ice cream. It'll be fine. That it was so much for me was almost too much. Here too I refer to the picture. It was a very high-quality ice cream and tasted very good. Something more egg liqueur should have been. But that's at a good level. Cleanliness is given here. Maybe this is already physically impaired, but it's clean here. The toilets are so far without mistake. Conclusion: After all, the boiler house has left a very good impression. The dishes were almost without exception good and left us satisfied grunzend. The pricing appears appropriate. I was expecting more about the situation. But it was annoying that two people had their food for a long time after the others. Because of the goodness of food, I'm sure I'll return here."
