"The service we recieved was great! Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. Any questions I had about the menu she was able to explain in great detail. I went for brunch and had a jalapeño cornbread with a crawfish sauce which was a special appetizer for that day. It wasn't spicy at all, but it was pretty good. The fried gulf oysters was on point. I really enjoyed, along with the sauce! Overall, I had wonderful time dining here, not to mention the ambience and atmosphere was wonderful, I will definitely be back. Next to try will be the Palmettos cheeseburger, I'm told it is very good. I recommend you to give this place a try : ."

"Service was great, thank you Bella! I have never ordered a pork chop at a restaurant, but Bella promised me I would not be disappointed. The pork chop was incredible! I have never had meat so delicious anywhere! I sure would like the recipe! The portion was huge and would fill up the hungriest diner. My husband had the beef kabobs which were also wonderful. After eating what was leftover of my pork chop the next day, he had to admit it was even better than the kabobs. We both had the green beans, which were a little crunchy and very fresh, just the way we like them. The restaurant itself was pretty and very popular at lunchtime. All told, it was the best part of our visit to NOLA! PS. We were too full for sweets after lunch."

The Waitress was well mannered, professional and efficient, considering the mass of lunch goers The stuffed crab plate was absolutely delicious, must better than a competitor across the interstate. THE EGGPLANT SHRIMP WAS DELICIOUS. THE BATTER ON THE FRIED SHRIMP WAS GREAT. THE CHOCKEN FRIED STEAK WAS SERVED FRESH HOT. AS WERE ALL THE MEALS. THE PRICES WERE MORE THAN FAIR REASONABLE. "Good food! I was greeted and seated right away, their staffs were really friendly and attentive. My food came out super quick! And it so absolutely delicious. Also cheap It was perfect meal to have after being at the dentist all day, I definitely recommend stopping by for a quick bite!"

"For a small place that used to be a fast food joint and still has a drive through this place is a diamond. We had 4 different dishes tonight and all of them were excellent. Huge portions. A 12 poboy dwarfs a 12 sub from Subway. I had the fish, shrimp, and oyster plate with fries and cole slaw. It was cooked perfectly. Pic below is half gone. The music was on but not loud, the wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. We will go back for sure."

"Had a great lunch today... Service was very good and drinks special was right up. Had the pan meerte and steamed dumplings...big diving sauce on the side (I added some chili paste to bite it a little! They came out hot and tasty and tasted fresh. Share the chop Suey and it came out, piping hot, vegetables were fresh and perfectly cooked. Beautiful amount of meat in the dish and taste was good. Fried rice was a little on the Bland side, but a little soy did the trick. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. The service was attentive and not overlaid. Blonde waitress was on her products, the refreshing on today's market. For 35 years in the restaurant business, and that was by far the best meal I had in the two years down here. The decor is definitely not NOBU, but you do not get snobby, inconspicuous service and overestimated and overpriced food. Will definitely return."

"Don't come back. We had a family party tonight. There were so many things. There was a **** that climbed the wall like 2 feet from where we eat. Accompanied by a huge deep hole that awaits a complaint. Formed is the same dish ordered by two persons, one person was torn, the other person got twice the amount of food. The chicken that was ordered by someone at our party was so gracious and terrible. When the owner came and asked how everything was, we told him about these problems, he could be careless. When he told about the ****, he replied to Louisiana?. We're all locals from here. We're not swamp people. If you? restaurant (shown as this) do not expect that crumbs.. and then, when you appeal to the crumbs, the owner lets them go. We all said we wouldn't come back."

"Finally tried this place after years driving by it and WOW!! The food is right up there with the very best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. But the prices were more reasonable than those other places. I got crab cakes, chicken Parm and bread pudding, and everything was impeccable. Even the house dressing on the salad blew me away. Service and cozy atmosphere were both great. Don't let the humble outside appearance fool you, this place is world class good, I like it more than sal and Judy's even."

"We enjoyed breakfast. I have seen reviews of good breakfast places and the pictures of this food and decided to try it out. We immediately sat what was great. When we waited, I soon realized that this restaurant was three times D. Umm, yay! We ordered and got our food happy. We loved rhetoric and cleared our records. I have the French toast, corned beef and eggs. My children have pancakes, hashbrowns and eggs and ham. Ham was delicious and pancakes were generously a decent size. Try it out, but you know that there is a small 'hole in the wall' feel safe. They are welcoming and good."

"The ambiance and service is always great. The jazz brunch on Sunday is delightful and warming. The food is always prepared very well and taste amazing. We had the seafood omelette this time. For the price it could have had a bit more seafood. The crawfish and crab seemed nonexistent. The food is excellent, but the portions should match the price. It might depend on what you order"

"I love, love, love me some Sogo! I eat here on average at least once every week and have for many years! Mrs. Ping and Mr. Wei (owners) are simply amazing! The sushi creations are delicious and the fresh fish is always excellent! My Sashimi Platter (pictured) is not on the menu! You have to ask for the JV Platter if you want some of this deliciousness... I crave it often!"

"Had a dinner at this Slidell location last night. Food was good, but we were shocked to find out our car parked in the parking lot was hit and seriously damaged at the right side of back bumper after the dinner (around 9pm). We parked our car directly facing the front entrance of the restaurant. Surprisingly, no one reported this hit and run incident nor the restaurant staff was aware of the incident. We reported this incident immediately to the manager and her response was that nothing the restaurant could do since NO outside security cameras were installed in this restaurant. We were very surprised that No outside security cameras to ensure the safety and security of the customers in their parking lot. We suggest customers need to be concerned with their cars when coming to eat in the Texas Roadhouse Slidell location."

"Perfect. This is my absolute favorite type of food, and I haven't been able to have it since moving from GA to TX. It doesn't seem to exist properly in TX. Please come here. We walked in and the smell was immediately recognizable as the delicious food I remember, and I had never even been to this restaurant before. It just means they do it right. Very much enjoyed our meal. As we were leaving, some of the local police officers were headed in for their own dinner...so, that solidified that I picked the right place for dinner on our drive."

"The food was pretty good, but the wait and the service definitely impacted my overall impression of the place. I 've worked in the restaurant industry and know there are some pretty simple fixes here. You need at least one more waiter on duty and 2 food servers supporting the wait staff. It took forever to get the food, and we had to beg for drink refills. Like I said before the food was tasty, but the service left a stronger taste in my mouth. I would go again, but it 's not a must have in New Orleans."

"eating as usual was about the top delicious! we ordered the godfather pizza. ohmygoodness is it yummy! "It’s always a pleasant experience when we dine here, but tonight was different. Our waitress Curly was amazing from start to finish! She recommended a delicious appetizer we ended up loving so much we brought an order home for our son. We were out celebrating my husbands 41st birthday and Curly made sure it was one to remember. She had the staff come out with a big glass of ice cream to wish my husband who has been battling cancer a happy birthday. She was super sweet and an absolute pleasure. Everything was delicious and right on time!"
