"We finally tried Vincenzo's after living next to it for years ror our 13th anniversary. We were super excited and got seated as soon as we got there. The staff was great and very friendly. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Then the food came out. We got the Crab Ravioli, Brocolli Fettuccine, 16 oz Ribeye, Chicken Panini, Muzzarella Sticks, Lava cake and a Cheese Burger. The Crab Ravioli was really good. The Cheese Burger and Panini was also really good. The Rib eye and the Pasta was very disappointing. The steak was cooked a little on the rare side but was tender. The issue was the seasoning. The steak or the vegetables were not seasoned well or at all. We added salt and pepper ourselves and it saved it a little but not worth the money. The pasta was also very plain and under seasoned and they charged extra for the broccoli. When the waitress asked if we wanted broccoli with our pasta, we assumed some people don't like it so that's why the restaurant asks but they failed to mention it was extra. It was only $2 but it sould gave been mentioned. Overall the experience was good and the staff was great nut the pain dishes were very disappointing. We might give it another try but will definitely stay away from those."

"I was a little worried at the start. Brunch cancelled, brand new waitress. A cozy joint. things didn 't seem totally fired-up when we got there about 12:30 pm.Then confusion with our drinks and I 'm having my doubts. Orders took a while, even though we were the only five customers in the joint. BUT. When our food got there, every one of us were thrilled with our selections. God 's honest truth, better than any oyster po-boy I 've had, even in NOLA. Excellent, sweet, tender oysters, hot, with a nice crunch, a simple slaw and two beautiful tomato slices on a crisp, fresh baguette. Fries were piping hot, a great feed for $10. Other dishes raved about at our table; Spicy Chicken Sandwich (Chick-fe-what? Popwho? , the Blazer nachos with beef and the Big Bend salad. It 's so nice to see this lovely eatery on Main in sweet Smithville. Hats off and yee-haw! Tell 'em The Hungry Texan sent you."

"First time stopping by this morning. I ordered the “Paige”. If you like dirty chai lattes then look no further because this drink was fantastic. Topped with cold foam was chefs kiss. It is not overpriced and the service was so fast. The employee working was so kind, she showed me a pop tart and it looked delicious! 20/10 for customer service, quality, and overall. "From the excellent location to the extensive wine list, this restaurant is a gem in Smithville. The building is a historic downtown, red brick merchant space that has been decorated with eclectic taste. Local artisans have jewelry and art treasures for sale. The food is homemade, and they have a great music scene. Open mic on Thursdays! Very friendly staff and ownership. You can tell that they all enjoy their job and are proud of this venue. This is totally worth the trip. The wine selection really is impressive. Looking forward to visiting the Fat Cat Lounge and Café again soon. "Great service and fantastic food. Loads of seating inside and out, with a stage for live performances outside.We got a total of 5 different tacos…each and everyone was delicious! No jokes. Two different beef, 2 chicken and the Hippie (veggie/bean) tacos. Tried both the corn and flour tortillas, again, both yummy, but those corn tortillas were probably the best we ever had. Oh, and they were stuffed! So much meat we should have ordered some chips to help eat all the droppings.So yeah, we will be back!Vegetarian options: Veggie taco on the menu (The Hippie)"

"Love this place. If you are staying in Buesher State Park, I recommend breakfast at Taqueria Titas. There are items on the menu that I haven't heard of before. Don't worry, they are just variations of gorditas, different shapes, just beans inside, choice of meat on top. Try one. There are outside picnic tables if you want to eat there but I think most people get food to go."

"The pizza is great here: Clear, pepperoni, white etc., whatever you get, cut or whole cake is very good. But the Steak Subs are where it is. Probably the best place in Galloway if not the district. But the frits are not so hot. I think they're gonna pack them out of the frit for pickups. You're never as sharp as Pommes. You guys step in and it's 5 stars safe."

"I supported the Red Claw when they ran the operation out of a food truck. Food was great then. My experience tonight going to their brick and mortar location not so much. I was informed it requires a membership fee of $75 dollars. The lady who address me didn't even try to sell me one. Seating is limited so plan ahead. Personally there are other fine places to eat around Smithville and Bastrop that don't require membership. If that your thing, please go, and enjoy."
