"WORST OLIVE IN THE UNITED STATES I really wish there was a review that warned me about the lack of cleanliness, health and safety and the total disregard for hospitality at this point. Since there was not, I will give one for the rest of you in high hopes that you will heal this warning. I start with, the servers are probably the ONLY people who keep this place in business. We arrived early for lunch and there was no excuse for what we experienced. To say the kitchen needs an update in food safety training is a strong understatement. One of the disadvantages of visiting restaurants throughout the country is sometimes visiting a place so disgusting, so gnarly, and with such disregard for food safety, that you with food disease and a terrible set of symptoms I do not describe here. The greasy feelings and fingerprints on our table, the entrance door and any other surface we've happened should have turned us around. To our disadvantage, we gave this location the advantage of doubt. The manager was dismissed and indifferent. If a food service professional does not report anything about its customers food health after eating at their location, it is totally telling about an environment in which this has probably happened many times before. Since someone whose sense of smell and taste has remained intact and with top function before/while/after the COVID-19 pandemic, I urge you, NOT EAT HERE. If after eating here (or everywhere in the area) you are experiencing the symptoms of food disease, contact the environmental services with the Kanawha County Health Department. Charleston people deserve better."
