"We dined al fresco for dinner. The chairs were comfortable, but the general seating area could benefit from more lighting or ambience. We waited at least 15 minutes and had to alert the hostess that our table had not been served. The service was very slow. I ordered a dirty martini, but it was served in a gimlet glass instead of a martini glass like the other tables. The food was good, but not exceptional. Perhaps it was just an off night. As we were only visiting, we would not be returning. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

"Totally underrated restaurant in heart of Napa. Restaurant is open for three meals and have been for all of them (not in one day). It is definitely NOT your typical hotel restaurant. Not much indication they are there, but they are...all day long. Healthy portions for well thought-out food. Whoever is running the kitchen knows what they are doing. I had the bass with chorizo for dinner and crudo to start. Suggestions for lunch would include a monstrous Niçoise Salad and won't go wrong with the California burger. Croissant French toast for breakfast is like having breakfast and dessert simultaneously. Chilaquiles are not to be missed either. If not eating, if you don't stop in for the best Margarita in Napa Valley, you are doing yourself an injustice. When the weather is right, assure you request a table on their patio deck...but sitting inside makes you feel right at home with a hygge aura. Restaurant is carved inside a 100 year old farmhouse. Walk through hotel courtyard after too for some selfies. The star of the show is the service though...its Forbes four-star rated and easy to see why. These guys are over the top accommodating. Go to Acacia House now, thank me later."

"This was our second time to Press as we loved it the first time a few years back. Without all the people creating an upbeat vibe, the drab decor was more noticeable this time. They really need to add some flowers and candles to create a better ambiance. While the service was top notch, some of the dishes were underwhelming. We ordered a salad to share that seemed like it was split ways as we only had a few leaves. It was to a point of being a bit ridiculous. I ordered the smoked swordfish that our waiter recommended. It didn’t taste smoked at all, and came only warm, and seemed undercooked and a bit rubbery. The sauce was at least tasty. Desserts were just okay and menu a bit limited. I think they are trying too hard to perhaps have an eclectic menu"

"we picked up on Mother's Day, we ordered extra for the rest that never happened, and the man was disgusting to us. we like spicy food, but everything was slandered and stuffed. the chow my noodles were white! no sweet in our rice or noodles, and the hawn was so bad, fat and nasty! I tried to reach and wrote an email to the business just to let them know that eating was terrible (if I had a owner of a restaurant I wanted to know), and from rough I got no response back. Don't eat here, they're getting sick! Don't waste your money!"

"The food is really great highly recommend the ribs! Even though they're beef ribs and not pork, they fall off the bone with a delicious sauce. The cheese and charcuterie area bit skimpy for 4 ppl. Be prepared as the food selection is a little light they only serve what they grow. So for example the burger was great but didn't come with tomatoes.Plenty of parking."

"Delish food! Great people and atmosphere! We sat at the bar and Daniel was super friendly as was his colleague, but we didn't get his name. Will return! The muscles were perfectly steamed in a very flavorful red sauce and the sausage really made the dish come together. The pork shoulder with risotto special was rich yet so well made and all the flavors blended together beautifully! The pesto homemade fettuccine with chicken special was also a hit. We are foodies and truly enjoy our experience here. Can't wait to return."

"Came to town for a wedding and found this gem. Clean with a chill vibe... but not so chill that you hear yourself breathing. The staff was amazing. Ordered an almond milk cappuccino- PERFECTION. The espresso is creamy. Love it. I had actually stopped at another coffee shop up the street and ordered a drink but it was awful so I moved on. So glad I did. Would highly suggest and definitely will return."

"Cindy’s Backstreet, a block from St. Helena’s main street, has been one of the best restaurants in Napa Valley for over ten years, but there is never old. The decor is a subtlely sophisticated setting for remarkable foods that meets all current buttons about “local and fresh” without pretentious. Never has a bad meal, from the most expensive fish to their $12 burgers, but my favorite may be their cured chicken. The service is knowledgeable and impeccable, but not pretentious again.
