"this place is missing taste. the samosas are in order, but about the same as any load bought frozen sorts. the dipping sauces were good. the corma was as disappointing and a slop consistency as they say, the more tasty as framed spinat says as traditional. no seasoned came through. I love saying for the cumin notes. no anis, green chiles, coriander, ingwer, garlic or other flavor for this occasion came through the other dishes. we asked for spice, and the food had no heat. I had more tasteful indians from a bag. If they only think curries when they think of Indian food, I am sure they find this place well."

"restaurant was made of several ordered items that change 2/4 of us our orders. one of us was sick shortly after eating an evening meal salad with grilled chicken. it will take a long time before we return to cask, unfortunately."

"Huge portions of each part is large enough to share for two people! If you order a main dish, the pasta on the page is large enough for a meal of itself. The chicken parmigiana is perfectly cooked and you have residues for a late evening snack. I also recommend the wedges very large satisfying and the staff is very nice to boot. You'll never be hungry here. Also great prices!"

"Ordered the Settefrate pizza without cheese, lasagna and Rhode Island Fried Calamari. The restaurant called to confirm the order within a few minutes which is amazing service. The food arrived quickly and hot. The pizza was delicious, the calamari cooked to perfection and lasagna wowza! Not many places cook calamari correctly. Pellici's does it right! Definitely ordering again and again and again!."

"Antike Ginger has the BEST pig dumplings on the island. These dumplings have the most incredible taste you could ask in a dumpling. Apart from the taste, the authenticity of these dumplings is unsurpassed. When someone who had dumplings from many Chinese food places, I really believe that every dumpling is made from the old Ginger with the greatest championship. The packaging is not the thick, flour mass you get like most places around here; it is thin, light and wears the taste of filling beautiful. My friends and family agree. There were numerous occasions where I only ordered dumplings for family and friends and they were totally blown away. The price is also RECHT! You can order for $6.50 and it is 100% worth it! Antique ginger dumplings should not take away how delicious their food is. My family asks to order at least once a week. It's just really good Chinese food. I'm not even a joke, I don't write reviews, but I really believe that this place deserves it after all the nights that it came into coupling for me, my family or best friends. The staff is so polite and the service is beautiful. Ancient Ginger ALWAYS will be at the top of all the Chinese food sites I have tried on the island over the last twenty years. I challenged friends to find a place on LI with better knödeln and I challenge you now. If you are on the fence about the order from here today / sight, do not read further and call now. "We're new to Stamford. My friend and I visited the location near Greenwich and it was a great pizza! Tonight we tried downtown Stamford and had a great meal. The owner was there tonight and we met him for the last time. He reminded us three months ago! He was great and his entire staff was really friendly! The prices are good. Food is great! We had the chicken parm dinner and it was a lot of food!! Thank you. We found our pizza place!"

"order byhope pizza since I moved back to stamford in 2003. this place consistently revolves around the best “Greek Style” cake in fairfield county. in addition, no matter how busy they are (and they are very busy) my order is always 100% accurate, fresh and tasty. feels very good to see that one of the owners is always front and center in the kitchen. this is a family that is proud of the food they serve their community."

"I hired Layla’s to cater my daughters 70 person Baby Shower, which was literally today, August 14th 2022. Bottom line, the food was outstanding!! Everyone kept asking me where I got the food from and that it was unbelievably delicious. I had people telling me they were going back then for seconds. I was thrilled to hear this from my guests. JP helped me with my catering order and he and his staff could not have been more helpful and patient working with me. HIGHLY recommending them!"

"none of the dishes we ordered was authentic. I was excited about the hand cut pasta, but it was best in the average. the seafoods were slightly fishy and all the dishes that were thought to be lemons only tasted like nothing other than sour. Maybe the pizza was good here. I wish we had tried. average price for each dish was $25. that is very expensive for something that is not fresh or tasty. Anyway, a star extra because the staff was friendly."

"Now that the children couldn't make it to Mother's Day, we went to Mother's Day Bunch for 2 at Flinders Lane on Summer Street and wow we were impressed. I would read that there are many Italians in Australia, but as the first generation Italian with long roots in the restaurant business, I would never have thought that we find GOOD Italian food in Australian restaurant. I've never been wrong! We started with the meatballs and Arancini and both were delicious. The meatballs were served with two thick slices of perfectly roasted Italian bread, crushed with olive oil, just right to overthrow a delicious marinara. Four rice balls had a mushroom risotto inside and were covered with a slightly spicy chipotle like Mayo. Great start. For my main dish I had “light as a cloud” pillow style gnocchi over truffle ricotta with wild mushrooms and peas. It was so good, it will be hard to try everything else on our next visit. The Wagyu beef burger was perfectly cooked medium rare and the homemade shoe-running pommes were perfect (I couldn't resist trying even if I were NOT to eat frits! . For dessert we shared the sticky date bread like pudding with hot caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. The chef Brad came to meet us (I have traveled so much about the food someone has to tell him that he had a zagged fan! and he told us it was the recipe of his grandmother in Australia. It was so light and tasty I have to go to Australia to pursue this grandma. We also met Chris the owner and we talked to Mark, our fabulous waiter. Overall, the staff could no longer be attentive, courteous and friendly. It is a pleasure to go to eat and come away feeling great! No complaint or regret. Thank you. "I had tofu; this is the third time I had this. Let me tell all the vegetarians WHAT A DELIGHT this is. Once a month I come to have the tofu and it seems a new recipe has come this month. While last month it seemed lightly braised and black pepper blackened this month it’s cutlets with a love sauce that (I’m not a foodie forgive me) maybe was hoisin or Worcestershire and or a balsamic reduction- whatever this was it was umami tasty lovely yummy and scrumptious. The asparagus was cooked fully yet crisp and a delight to crunch through and was still somewhat soft. I ordered truffle fries and …. I just tore through those I asked for extra crispy and let me tell you with the speed of wind I ripped those fries into the next world- it was so yummy.For an appetizer I shared the field greens butter lettuce salad and that had carrots and super thin radishes and heirloom yellow and colored tomatoes and it was nice I enjoyed eating that.Before that I got some warm pumpernickel or raisin dark brown bread that was so so yummy I asked for a second helping . We KNOW not to eat too much bread but cmon it was delicious I figured ok just this once.My tofu main course did come witv 3 spoons of rice and 4-5 sprigs of asparagus and maybe 6 or more ounces of tofu. VERY delightful for vegetarians.May all beings be happy all deserve compassion.Also to note the manager asked me how it was to check how I liked it and he was very kind. The waiter also was very sweet. High recommend will be back. Was too full for dessert maybe t next time."

"A few weeks ago my wife and I were here after a long covid-induced absence. We sat at the bar and had a great EXPERIENCE. Food was great, drinks were great, service was great, vibe was great ... u get the picture. Our bill was $200+ and I was happy to pay it. We've all paid good for less than stellar dining. So we were excited to go back this past weekend with another couple who had never been there. I walk into the restaurant which was buzzing. A vibrant atmosphere. I was told that our party was already seated UPSTAIRS and was lead back outside, through a side door and proceeded up a flight of stairs reminiscent of a budget motel. Immediately it felt like we were being punished, like second class citizens. The EXPERIENCE was HORRIBLE! The room felt like a morgue. I wanted to walk out but was persuaded not to. The table placed us at an uncomfortably far distance from each other. The service was haphazard. The food was not as good. However, the cost was the same. Had I been advised that we'd be sitting upstairs, I would have rescheduled. We had intended to dine here regularly, but now it looks like another prolonged absence is inevitable or even permanent."

All the food has just the right level of spice to provide flavor without dominating the dish. The atmosphere is “old school,” not luxurious at all but still comfortable. "Great sushi! Pricey, but it's worth it. The restaurant was full on a Friday night, so there was a delay at the sushi, but it was great overall. The waitresses were attentive, but they missed orders from tables next to us (but not ours). We also ordered Udon and the broth tasted good."

"I asked for an outside table on the reservation. I called around 18 o'clock in front of my 630 book and asked if we could sit outside, I said they could let this happen. When I arrived, the manager was rude and bluntly said, well we only have 5 tables. I let him know what the man said on the phone and he just stared at me empty. when I passed the restaurant an hour later, they had put some extra tables outside."
