"Did this location close? I was at Rodeo 39 a few weeks ago hoping to get me some Beleaf Burgers but no one was here. It was about 7pm on a Friday night. At first, I thought they closed for the night. But upon closer inspection, I think this location might be closed. For starters, their POS system is gone. Then if you look through the windows, not much stuff is inside their kitchen. Their website still lists a Stanton location but their instagram only mentions their Chino location as well as a Long Beach location coming soon in the bio. But then again, if you scroll through their feed, they still tag Rodeo 39 including fairly recent posts. I'm confused! I was kinda bummed to not have their food for dinner that night we were there a few weeks ago but luckily there are other vegan options at Rodeo 39. And if they do open a Long Beach location, that would work out better for me. All that said, this review is for the handful of times I've had Beleaf at Rodeo 39 prior to discovering that they might be closed. My first time here was for a Yelp perk. I had the Mexican Pizza and fries. I liked it enough to eat it but not enough to order it again. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty. I just felt very heavy after this indulgent meal. Well, maybe I might order it again if I was splitting it with a friend. bit.ly/3sgv2W4 My second time here was like the best meal ever! They had a limited-time Hawaiian plate that had Vegan Shrimp Katsu, rice, and Hawaiian Mac Salad. OMG!!! This plate of food totally rocked my world!!! I tried to order this again on my third visit but it wasn't available. I've also had both their Nashville Hot Fries and their Boogie Style Fries which is like the vegan version of animal-style. Both tasty! While the staff was always friendly, waiting for my food always took a really long time. Like, 40 minutes long. In fact, on my last visit, all I ordered was the Boogie Style Fries and they told me it would be a 20ish minute wait. All in all, I like this place. It would be a bummer if this location is in fact closed. But at the same time, I'm very eager to know when this Long Beach location will open up."

"Ordered a garlic smash burger and made it a combo, adding fries and a can of soda. The best part of this place was that the associate was really sweet! However, the food itself was below par. I was supposed to be texted when my order was ready, but apparently their system wasn't properly working. When I walked back around toward this place, the person who took my order hand-delivered my bag to me. I'm not sure how long the order actually took to make, but I walked around the food hall, then returned to Primal Cuts about 15 min after placing my order.I was surprised to see that the cheese on the burger was not melted at all. I suppose that means my burger was not very hot when it was made (by the time I got my food, it was mildly warmer than room temp). The patty itself didn't look very smashed... it was comparable to a McDonald's beef patty in appearance. The bun didn't seem toasted, so it kinda felt like they barely microwaved a patty, then slathered a bun with the garlic sauce and put it all together with a piece of totally unmelted cheese on top before packaging the food. The portion of fries was generous, though. I think that was the most filling part of the meal. It was nice that they left the box open so it wouldn't get soggy. The ketchup was a bit lacking for me, though. I know they make their own ketchup, but it needed a more acidic punch for my tastes. Anywho, the total came to a little over $14 (with tip), which wasn't worth it at all."
