"Food was great but the service was outstanding! This man is such a gem! I’m not sure if I spell his name correctly, Ishmael? He made us feel like a family, he helped picking ingredients for my burrito, let me taste it, he gave suggestions and had a great sense of humor. He has such a presence that it make it not just a quick lunch but an experience. You got a returning customer in me. Thank you"

"I really enjoy the food here. My family and I usually get the Cali bento, which has a good variety of food as well as a generous serving chicken katsu, chicken teriyaki, tempura veggies, rice, steamed cabbage, and California rolls. The California rolls are consistently not to our liking, but that's probably just us. Also, their spicy chicken teriyaki is pretty good. A bit on the sweeter side and not spicy enough for me, I'd say maybe 2 out of 5 on the spiciness.Otherwise, we really enjoy getting food their.Parking: The restaurant is located among several other businesses that share the lot. Getting in and out sucks and the parking can be sparse when the area is busy. Of course they can't control the parking situation. Just be aware if it is your first time there."

"From Maryland, where good food is easy to find, unlike Washington. With that out of the way, Primo's is about as good as your going to get. Food is excellent. Service is great and you don't have to worry about tipping (which is a backward culture anyway), since Primo's does an automatic surcharge. Whatever! You do you, Primo...I would classify Primo's as a neighborhood gem. You feel like a winner when you dine there. It took me long enough to find good food here in WA, and I'm thankful. We'll be back."

"One of the finer restaurants in Tacoma. The wine selection is extensive which ranges from Old to new world reds to a unique selection of dessert wines. The servers are knowledgeable about the drink selections and the food. At the end of our dinner we wanted to order a dessert wine but did not know where to start. The server immediately brought over 5 bottles for us to taste and gave us explanation of each one. Service is more than just bringing a customer food and cleaning up after them. It includes being knowledgeable about the products that the restaurant carries. Highly recommend this location for wine enthusiasts, finer dining enthusiasts and those looking for excellent service."

"I used to come to this restaurant when I was younger and enjoyed it. It used to be the place to go. I last visited in 2016 until last night in June 2024. To my surprise, it looked exactly the same as before. Initially, I thought it was closed until I tried the door handle. The interior was still drab, dark, and depressing. There were only a few people working, with one waiter out of the three available taking 20 minutes to get our drinks after we sat down. He apologized and mentioned they were short-staffed, but it was unclear why no one else from the front came to assist. The food was the same with no new options. I am shocked that this restaurant is still in business, especially with a popular neighboring restaurant, Gauchos, which we frequent often. The waiter seemed frustrated and mentioned it was his last month due to the unfair treatment of employees, including taking a large percentage of their tips. This is unacceptable. A leadership makeover is necessary to save this establishment."

"I wanted this place to be good. So good. I was reading reviews, looking at photos, and who knows...maybe it was just that day. Idk. But I went in and ordered 2 veggie tacos to go. I read the description, and thought okay, whole beans. Awesome. So I was excited!! I go and order my 2 veggie tacos, get them and leave. I get home and open the container and I'm thinking...these look...basic but okay let me try them. I bite one and the shells are hard af! Like they were microwaved, which I'm sure they were. It was very disappointing. The beans had no seasoning as well. Such a bummer. Was really looking forward to it."

"The service at this restaurant is fantastic and the food is delicious! We didn't have high expectations, but were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the ramen, which was full of flavor and generously sized with a variety of tasty vegetables and meat. My husband asked for extra hot sauce and was very happy with the delicious spicy condiment they offered."

"We went for Father’s Day so obviously it’s busy. It’s not really all you can eat meat when there’s barely any meat coming to your table. We were sitting for an hour and had about 3 pcs of meat. We understand that it was busy but then people made advance reservations so they should have been aware of the expected guests for that weekend. The meat do not come to your table that often. A friend of mine went the night before and they too had the same horrible experience. They’re stingy and total ripped off for the price. The value of food that I actually ate would have been under $40 for both me and my husband. But I paid $200 tip etc. We got frustrated and just left and will definitely NOT going back to this place. We’ll stick to Fogo de Chão if we are to visit another place like this concept. I’ve been to Fogo a few times… In fairness, our server was really nice and I feel bad that he had to apologize so many times to angry and hungry customers for the incompetence of their Kitchen or executive chef who would have been responsible for the quantification and workflow in the kitchen. Unless their upper management advised them to be stingy and deceive their customers purposely. Please, save your money and go somewhere else. Not worth it. Their sides not even that great. Just go to a regular fine dining restaurant instead if you’re willing to spend that $200 , you’ll have better chances of getting your money’s worth."

"I come here two to three times a year (from Olympia) and it never fails me. The food is excellent, and the service is usually very good. I have tried many menu items over the years and it is all good. I have food allergies and they accommodate well."

Got Mexican American enchiladas for my son, the plate was huge, I also got a variety of the tamales, and they were allllllllllll good ! The prices are great too! "Great experience! Open later than other pizza places. Ordered the fire sticks, they were so good! Not many veggie options but you can do a create your own with many options. I got the traditional red sauce, it has like a pasta sauce taste but good flavor. I would probably go with another sauce base next time. Dough is fresh and tasty, not super thick on the pizza, but thicker on the sticks.. Service was absolutely amazing, we sat at the bar- no kids on that side of the restaurant. Waiter/bartender very attentive and friendly. Can't wait to come back next time!"

"Love Waffle Stop!! The food is amazing! The service is on point! The atmosphere is happy and fun. Servers are attentive but have fun with their service.I ordered Nashville Chicken and Waffles and it's bomb!! Best chicken and waffles in my opinion. The strawberry cheesecake waffles are also great, and the Nutella strawberry banana waffles! If you have more than 2 people in your group, I highly recommend putting your name on the wait-list from their website. This will allow you to get a table and not wait long. Otherwise the wait time could be long depending on how busy they are. Or you can sit at the bar, which is open seating to whomever.Parking: Parking is first come first serve street parking. On the weekends, parking can be difficult. So I would suggest planning ahead to find parking."

"There is a reason why this place has been rated so high over the years and has maintained its presence in the Tacoma community as a solid location to get great food. What you get is quality. It cannot eat well, the tablecloths are pleasantly quirky. The floor is a bit jammed. The area's going down. If you're not in it, it's good. If you want a delicious food on a small menu where they have cooked it for years on the right way, come and stop here, like all others. We could not stop cycling over the liver and onions, butterfish and the wonderful waiter. Every idiot of our brunch was thrilled. The butterfish simply melts in the mouth with a crispy, but not excessively thick dough lining outside. It's all Thrilla no filla and I loved every morsel. Waiting was kind of long, but good food needs time. Everything was fresh and hot. I'll be back for more sweet potato cake and butterfish and collar. Mm mm!"

"We were looking for a nice place on the Sound to celebrate our anniversary. The last time we went to Dash Point was when it was the Lobster Shop. We were seated promptly and served warm bread with olive oil and vinegar- it was good. The Nonna salad was very tasty and fresh. My wife had the seafood risotto, which she loved. I had the seafood marinara over fresh linguini. That was the best. We topped it all off with blackberry cobbler Ala mode. We definitely will be back. Our waitress said her father was the chef. Nice friendly, family atmosphere."

"Food was spot on! We shared several small plates between the two of us. The dumplings were fantastic. And delivered to the table very quickly. The green beans were cooked perfectly and lightly drizzled with an amazing garlic sauce. The tofu curry lettuce wraps were unbelievable. The staff was very friendly and despite being a busy evening, the service was fast. I highly recommend indo!!"

"I love this place. I like to leave reviews after more than 5 visits. Let me begin with TIMING: I have never had to wait for my food. I’ve had orders varying from 2 people to 12 people and it’s always fast. SERVICE: I’m bilingual and I do not feel I appear Hispanic, so I love that no matter how I ordered, I felt valued. QUALITY: I love trying different places to eat and everything has been great. The only thing that almost lost was the quesabirria tacos. They were smaller than the competitor, however THE FLAVOR won hands down. The only negative thing I can say is I wish they could take off the curbside option online because twice that I used it, there was some excuse why they couldn’t bring it out. However they are so awesome, I could care less. I love this place."

"This restaurant is seriously overlooked on Yelp. It may not be the absolute best Mexican food I've ever tasted, or even the best in Tacoma. But it is incredibly satisfying and I understand why."
