"I was excited to eat here because of the reviews, so I came around 1030am on a Thursday. I stood around at the host stand for 10 minutes with another couple who had been waiting there before me. I ordered the Benedict wrap and the hollandaise sauce was super watery and soupy. Couldn't pick up the wrap, and had to eat it with a fork and knife. Best part of the meal was the potatoes. It was me and one other table and the server knew the other table, so they got a lot of attention. Which I understand but I was never asked, until I was ready for the bill, how everything was. I typically love to write positive reviews but, this was rough."

"hide! the husband worked all day and was super hungry. this was a few miles from the hotel and so far firefly restaurant is the best we had here in traverse city. the man had a buffalo bacon burger, but he replaced the burger for huh. he was sooo happy. he loved the baked, deep-fried jalapeños that was on his sandwich. I had fish n chips. it was good. we'll go back to sandwich tomorrow."

"we sat outside with our pups. our server, mariah, was exceptional! they have a few vegan options, they were designed and not just an salate or simple gurken role. the food was nice and delicious. my omni so enjoyed his meal. I had two of the veggie rolls and the tofu salad wraps. the tofu was delicious, local so many of the items in the restaurants seem to be here. in the production of the rolls they were aware of cross-contamination. I'd eat here again."

"What can I say? We ate there twice during our weekend visit. The menu has many options. The peas and carrots app (with peanut sauce falafel tots and watermelon with cashew yogurt was bomb. The vegan grilled cheese was packed with flavor, not a grease bomb and delicious. I added grilled tofu to it, and it was the stuff of food fantasies. The décor is really cute. The patio is spacious and dog-friendly."

"We didn't have a reservation and were thankful they had a table for 2 available a little before 8:00 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was still packed and the noise level was higher than we usually prefer (hard to hear one another at times), but the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had the Braised Short Ribs (very tender and the Grilled Salmon (the fried cauliflower/brussels sprouts/chickpeas combination was perfectly spicy and made for a unique, memorable dish). The service was excellent as well."

"The Towne Plaza Restaurant in Traverse City is a great brunch spot! We were attracted by the reviews, so he gave it a try. We waited 40 mins but it was worth it. While the omelettes were okay, the French toast stole the show, it’s amazing (I would spare the raisins though). The cozy atmosphere and friendly service create a welcoming experience. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!"

"We usually visit Traverse city once a year and especially spend time in Great wolf Lodge. This year we decided to explore the city further and we went to the city and chose Bubba for our dinner. They had to say that these guys know what they're doing. One of our best burgers we've ever had is at Bubba's . The quality and freshness of the dishes is amazing. Proper part, fresh and served in a very tempting way. Not only the food was great, but also the service was top notch and at the borders. Prices are also affordable. Whenever you are in the surrounding city, you need to eat at Bubba. Well done!"

"We stopped in during Friday afternoon, a few minutes before closing. The staff was quite welcoming, and we were treated with a warm welcome. We had a slice of pie, warmed up, and picked up an additional pie to take home. The pie filling could be distinguished: not mushy, and clear flavors of apple, berries. The pie dough had a warm, baked flavor, without hints of shortening, and the crumble top is a good excuse to eat oatmeal! It was way different from another Grand Traverse Pie location, in Plymouth. This is the reason it is a must to get a fresh piece of pie in Traverse City, rather than the other, down south location:great service, and fresh pie!"

"My sister-in-law and I had dinner at PepeNero before our Twilight Village Commons tour. I loved the ambiance and our server was knowledgeable and super helpful. She took great care of us. I had the smoothest most flavorful mushroom soup to start and the melt in your mouth branzino for dinner. My sis had a wonderful salad to start and the fantastic linguini for dinner. Oh and the best cocktails to start, mine was a Dino’s Margarita (which has ruined me for any other margarita as it was just that amazing) and my sis had the black Manhattan. Oh and the mini-truffles they served us after dinner (we didn’t have room for dessert) were dream-worthy! All exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend PepeNero. We will be back next time we visit TC."

"We had one of our best dining experiences ever. Our server Skyler was exceptional, attentive and help us plan our dining experience with expert care. The foie gras special was the best we have ever had. I had a veal bone in chop with garlic risotto that was probably the best cut of meat I have ever had, my girlfriend had the scallops and they were exceptional as well. Met a couple leaving the restaurant at the same time and they raved about the food and service (they had our server). Highly recommend!!"

"Spanglish is a cute and cozy cafe! Small seating area inside and outside. They have a great menu with options for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters! Prices are amazing as well! Spanglish also has an earth conscious focus prmoting recycling, composting and sustainability. I am gluten free and vegan so any place that is willing to accomodate me is great. But when I find a place that happily accomodates, is knowledgable about their ingredients AND has great food well I've signed on for life! I will be back again and again."

"I've lived you since my first trip to TC 9 years ago. I've finally moved up here and not visited you in winter because the food trucks are gone. As half of the population is gone. I came to the farm club for dinner. This is perfect for winter! Local great places work together to serve. The food was so much more tasteful than many winter places here and the drinks are always brilliant. I just went with a high life and a shot, but the happy hour many had some amazing concoctions."

"my man and I ordered their vegan burger. it claims to have vegan mayo. first I opened my container to find that it had parmesan on the pommes, then I took a few bites of the burger and the mayo was definitiw not vegan. not only am I vegan, but I also have an egg and milk allergy. unnecessary to say, I found out the hard way that her vegan burger was not vegan at all!"
