"this meal left my parter and I near speechless. even though the waiting staff started to describe meat dishes as “bread and butter” of the restaurant when we got the vegan menu that we were in the sky. the menu is honestly a bit hard to navigate, but don't worry. the waiting staff helped us to feed a savory conversion and sampler platter escape. we shared both and ba brought the gut on two separate plates. the amount was hearty, we both have stuffed despite sharing. each dish in the entree sampler was great, and they all supplemented themselves to different ways. it was more than tasty, it was complicated and artistic, and I am not one who has been particularly price-service in the culinary experience, but this team has really found out. they were friendly, patient with the menu and well versed on the healing of a vegan-friendly meal. also the meal came with small tasty ones that were a surprise. as we waited for, for example, they brought a flatbread with four dips (probably: a dip was not vegan), which were delicious and clear. overall; great eating, great staff, great experience!"

"I ordered a vegetarian Pad Thai with tofu, but there were pieces of pork in it and it was dry. The Drunken Noodles were extremely spicy, almost too spicy to handle, and had very little sauce. Unfortunately, all the food arrived cold even though the restaurant is nearby."

"Was super disappointed with the order I just received from Uber Eats. Waited an hour and payed $30 to receive over salted tots that are inedible. Like someone must have shaken the whole container of salt on the tots (pictured below). Also, the honey butter tots that were ordered were plain. No honey or butter was present. Would be willing to try again but honestly very disappointed."

"This is the best takeout I’ve had in ages! We returned for the same order: the peanut noodles and the tempura zucchini. My daughter and I were in heaven! The peanut noodles are incredibly crisp and refreshing, featuring Asian pears, cucumber, and a perfect dressing. The zucchini is wonderfully fried yet still retains a fresh crunch. I don’t know who traded their soul for that recipe, but whatever they did was worth it—it's that delicious! Plus, the service is super quick!"

"we have the most beautiful experiences at lunch! no wonder that this place is so high rated. there are few lunch breaks that are perfect for a hot summer day as a bandoola bowl. my hubby, baby and I had a Saturday afternoon in georgetown when we realized we needed lunch. we hacked on yelp, and this place has come up. the bandoola dishes are super refreshing, and if they enjoy fun textures with their meal times as I, then there are few places that scratch itch like this place. my nabenbein ordered an salate with the grilled chicken. I ordered the reisnudel bowl with garnel. both were great. I have the nudes because I have shared my bowl with my little child who loves nude. all tasted fresh, crispy and delish! the nutshell still comes with the salad ingredients, so they still have the delicious salad experience, only with some noodles as well. the dressings were also really delicious, and the nuts and crispy wobbles toppings really made the already crispy bowls still crispy. the salat has cauliflower, carrots, apples, and they can add some other sweets if that is what their heart desires, I will say that the personal here is so crazy sweet! this place is a dig and go with some limited seating on the second stage. When they saw that we were with our baby and planned to dive, the type was hit in register upwards to fix a table for us. he cleansed it and helped us put our children's car aside. this place is great, and I would come back 100%."

"The only issue I had (which I understand was partly my fault) was that the gratuity was automatically included in the bill without us being informed. This resulted in our server receiving a double tip. While he provided excellent service and deserved a good tip, I might not have left as much had I known in advance. I take responsibility for not reading the fine print, but I believe it would be beneficial for the restaurant to communicate this practice to their customers."

"server was very nice, not the fastest. we had vegan afteros. good for 2 people fill. mojitos was really delicious. the choices were plentiful and interesting. the beer was good and we liked that they had local options for so many items. we would have been running with a sandwich and the fruit salad with the other. they tell them in advance when they have a deadline. we were not in a hurry and have made it appreciate not to order. would be great for a band or a date. they have breakfast, lunch. we would have liked to hang up for the entertainment and would definitely come back. updated from previous review on 2013-05-13"

"The ordering and paying process was effortless. You scan the QR code and you can view the menu and pay right there. FYI there's a 20% tip added to the bill for fair pay for the staff. So the portion sizes of the entrees were large! The biscuits in the biscuits and gravy dish were huge but a bit hard . To be honest I haven't had a large, moist vegan biscuit before. The gravy was excellent! The polenta fries needed some salt but a tasty sauce did come with it. The Brussels sprouts were cooked well, I like them a bit firm. The breakfast sandwich really needed the gravy from the biscuits because otherwise it was a bit bland. I would return to try more options!"

"Awesome place, yes, we arrived early, about 4:45PM. Seated as soon as we walked in. Service was attentive. Food was excellent quality. Had the artichoke and spinach dip. Couldn't get a picture, we ate it too quickly. Next was the mini-burgers. Amazing again, great texture with the char! Amazing flavor also, plus plenty of onion straws! Finally the pepperoni pizza. This pizza is straight nostalgia! Reminds me of the pepperoni pizzas in Ocean City as a kid 40 years ago."

"I was in DC for a professional conference, and my daughter and son were in law in DC for a separate conference. We went to Fogo de Chao for dinner. It was her first visit and my third one. We had reservations, we were sitting right away and had drinks on the table. The Marketplace Food Bar was amazing, and the selection and quality of the meat that comes to the table has not disappointed. The waiting staff was efficient, attentive and very friendly. While it is an expensive outing, the culinary experience is really amazing. I will return to DC for the next time."

"We had an Italian brunch/lunch on Saturday. The outdoor seats were limited and mostly taken, so we decided to sit indoor by the window.I ordered the goat cheese omelette, which was rich in flavor and had a great portion. The ice coffee was decent.My friend ordered Italian sausage gravy, and the taste was a bit plain for us but I think it's just how Italian likes to eat, and it fitted well with the provided ketchup or hot sauce.Overall, the food and service were all good, and I deem the price were fair for what we were offered."

"The food at this restaurant was absolutely amazing. It was fresh, healthy, and bursting with flavor. The preparation was unique and all of us agreed that the halibut, flatiron steak, Peruvian chicken, artichoke char, and bolognese pasta were fantastic. The cocktails were also excellent, especially the mezcal basil drink. The service was happy, friendly, and very good. The atmosphere in the restaurant was incredible with a cool vibe, great music, and a fun buzz. It was one of the best meals we've had in a long time and we will definitely be going back, whether it's for a business group or with friends. The restaurant is big and spacious yet feels intimate and warm, with a great bar and a 1310 kitchen and bar."

"I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend for my trip to DC and we visited the rooftop bar while we were here! We loved the views and the drinks were good! He ordered a charcuterie board for us to share and it was amazing aside from the hunk of hard Parmesan they served us (it would'vemade more sense if it were Gouda or Munster)... they didn't give us any utensils originally so I had to go to the bar and ask and they only had plasticware which it was almost impossible to cut through the hard block of parmesan cheese we were served.. so that's why I took a star off. Otherwise, our experience and the ambiance was amazing!"

"I would have rated this place with five stars. Sadly our experience was marred by the management telling a young kids family birthday party celebration to leave because we had spent too much time. We had just received the bill and paid 4 minutes later we are approached and asked to leave. The entire mood at the table changed. Horrible decision by management that could have been handled much better."

"incredible! absolute, amazing! with distance the best service I had in a restaurant in a very long time. in my additional comments and comments when I made the reservation on the opentable app, I mentioned that I brought a friend with me and tried to convince her to move in the opposite, I asked for seats with views of the water and didn't think much again. not only did we give a table for six with an incredible prospect, but someone on the personal spent a fair amount of time to say a nice sign: “all the cool people live near district winery” for the table since I came to appreciate and expect from other trips to district winery that server was prompt and attentive. several employees asked us about our experience, including a member of the kitchen staff, and any request and necessity we had visited, with ease and discernment. when I came home and realized that I had left my wallet in the restaurant, not only someone was waiting to greet me at the door (which welcomed me with names of my party reservation) when I came back (after closing times) to get my wallet, I had a mail message, waited for me as soon as I switched on my phone. I will return to the weingut for special occasions, fun experiences and my neighbourship to all my host families and friends. Thank you. many thanks for such a beautiful evening!"

"This is the kind of restaurant/bar located on my alley. It is not a huge restaurant, but has a lot of seating, and this is specialized in South Inspired food, and has an excellent, but not a wide choice of whisky. The service is friendly and hospitable, and I would say the mood here is jovial. I came here with my cousin on his recommendation because we were looking for a place to drink. We sat at the bar and I wasn't super hungry, but I really wanted to try something. I think I ordered a pecan/banana pudding cake or something. The food itself looked amazing when I saw people order it, but I think we had already eaten dinner at that time. So Dessert should have done this. The main reason we wanted to go there was for the whisky. There is no great selection, but there is a very remarkable and it is also really good. But what I love in this place is that this is one of those places where you find it hard to get a bottle that is not too expensive. Sure, there can be a light charge, but nothing ridiculous. If you are creative or simple quality South food, and really good whisky at reasonable prices, this is a must to visit."
