"Uncommon Grounds is the best breakfast/lunch restaurant I’ve been to in Boston. I’ve been coming in for years and Ive always had such great experiences with the staff. The prices are extremely fair for such large portions. Some of my favorites for breakfast include the homemade corned beef hash, the Caprese breakfast sandwich, the biscuit egg sandwich, the breakfast veggie burrito, and the eggs Benedict. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth for breakfast, but I’ve tried the cinnamon bun french toast and the lemon ricotta pancakes and they are truly mouth watering. I’ve never had better pancakes or french toast in my life. For lunch, I recently tried the chicken burrito and it was phenomenal. My boyfriend got the steak quesadilla and said that was delicious as well. The staff is friendly, helpful, and the food comes out quick. I love the new model where you order at the counter because before Covid, there was always a large wait to sit down and eat. Now, I have the option to order for pick up online, get delivery, or order at the counter and sit wherever I want. The food comes out so fast and I’ve never been disappointed. If you’re considering trying this place you won’t regret it ! Here are a couple photos I’ve collected. Enjoy!"

"Perfect place for food lovers with vegetarian/ vegan/ gluten sensitive friends. I am a meat lover and this is by far the best vegetarian/ vegan restaurant. I loved their kale chips (I love kale too), carrot cake, and my mushroom special was perfect. Leftovers heated up nicely too. Easy to find parking on street. Wait staff were so helpful."

"I stopped in today for the first time and loved my salad and PB&J smoothie! Very friendly owner who took the time to explain everything to me and was super kind. It’s so nice to finally have a place that offers fresh healthy food. I’ll definitely be back!"

"It was ok. Quaint location with a view of public square. Good service. Eat in. When we entered, all the chairs were on the tables like they were closed. We asked, Are you open They seemed offended that we asked. Pizza was 3 stars. It's supposed to be NY style, which I get. I've eaten lots of pizza in lots of locations in my 54 years. Dough was a little tough. Sauce was too sweet. Cheese was decent. Sausage seemed like it was purchased frozen, not fresh. No thanks. I know these people have been here for a long time and they do a lot of business but I'm really used to pizza that's made from old country Italians."

"This place has atmosphere! The food was okay. The chicken fingers where frozen which is always sad and I definitely had regrets when I saw the Mac and cheese and burgers come out. We got two entrées a side order of onion rings and appetizer and it came out to about 60 bucks. There was this strange surge of excitement in the air and it’s hard to explain but it seemed like everyone was just really happy from the service people to other guests. 100%will go back."

"Lovely retro place. Walking in the door feels like traveling into the past. From the juke box to the pictures and memorabilia. Even the color scheme inside is mostly white with a black and red accent. Most importantly the food is good and a wide variety. The only downside is they don't have leaner options like turkey bacon or turkey sausage etc. But if you know that going in you won't be disappointed. And the prices are pretty cheap. We had breakfast for a family of 6 and paid less than $70 whereas if we had gone to a Denny's or IHOP it would be no less than $100."

"to breakfast with my non-vegan family and were warmly welcomed by an older woman we accept is a owner. had seen on the line and was really looking for coward to the vegans flaps, but was said they were out of them. the tofu scramble burrito ordered that was good. soy milk for my coffee was crowned so that I immediately shut off. my family cost her no-veganes breakfast, but I think we'll try somewhere else next time."

"My husband and I have been eating at El Mariachi ever since they opened. The food and service are always good. They have the best chips and salsa! However, they have a whole new crew working there now. Today we went there to eat and when we ordered cofee we were told They Don't Have Coffee! Much to our surprise because we have always ordered coffee there. I asked if they could make some. The waiter said no it would take 30-45 minutes to make it. So maybe if you don't want to make coffee or rather too lazy to make coffee, you should tell your customers that you took it off the menu. He was rather rude about it which was completely uncalled for. So El Mariachi, if you have coffee Please serve it when your customers ask, if not make sure you notify customers it is not being served anymore!"

"this was changed our go-to Japanese restaurant since guinza das management a few years back. it is not inviting from the outside, but when they get in, it transports them with the colors and typical smell of good Japanese restaurants. fish is super fresh and their offer goes far beyond salmon. we shared one of their combo sushi and sashimiters. fish was fresh and the rice was good. will surely come back!"

"La Bodega was an unexpected hidden gem with a wonderful tapas-style menu, great service, and a beautifully unique ambience. It was such a memorable experience and I will definitely be coming back to try the duck, which you need to make a 48 hrs notice to the restaurant for them to prepare for you : Highly recommend trying the empanadas (best I've ever had , wild mushrooms (felt like something out of a Michelin star restaurant , wood-fired carrots (super rustic and flavorful , and the ribeye."

"Usually excellent. My chicken (Fairgrounds Chicken dinner) was overcooked and very dry. I always love their salads with the house dressing and any of the sandwiches. Very fresh ingredients including veg's and bread. My family also enjoyed a pizza and French Onion soup."

"Talk of the Town Diner is now The Diner on 11 North Beacon Street. The food is fantastic and the service is great. The diner was brought to this century with new decor and color. New menus and foods offer something for everyone and they will change something if you ask without any questions. This place has always been a favorite, but jump to my list of diners!"

"Nothing feels like home more than your local pub! Ordinary Joe's is famous for the best wings in the state with a crazy series of different flavors. Staff rock and are friendly and fast. The owners know how everyone feels welcome. If you're ever in the area, you're swinging around a pint and a few wings!"

"Food portions were good. Service was great. Two people in our party need to eat gluten free. The staff took time to make recommendations and take custom orders to accommodate them. It was our first time here but, with this great experience and allthe things we weren't able to try, we will be back."

"This is the best place to eat in town. I had the black and blue burger and it's my favorite. Juicy and tasteful. I also had the ribs and the meat falls out of the bone and melts in the mouth. I have to say everything I had is just wonderful. The staff is so friendly and family. Oh, and the lemonade is like my mom."

"I heard on the grapevine that the Elias Inn was new, but still its good old self. I ordered the stuffed shrimp, and they were incredible. Old school flavors without heavy breading. When my husband snagged a bite, he closed his eyes in delight. He had the stroganoff, which was the other item I wanted to order. I grabbed the first bite, and it was perfect. So tender, and tasty, and spaetzle in my favorite shape. The Old Fashions were perfect. The whole evening was wonderful. Thank you for saving such a beloved place."
