"An excellent restaurant, Very good food and friendly professional staff. We shared a starter of Carpaccio di Manzo, light and tasty then as main course Scampi and Turbot (Rombo) both fresh, light and very tasty! The wine advice was perfect (an Italian Rosé: Micaela Valténese)...and to finish a Neapolitan Chocolate Cake with ice cream! Excellent value for money and were are already looking forward to our next visit!"

Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Daniel, der uns sehr freundlich bediente und den italienischen Abend komplettierte. Eine sehr herzlicher Dank auch an das freundliche Personal, die italienische Freundlichkeit zwischen dem Personal und dem Kunden, alles lädt immer wieder zu einem Besuch mit italienischem Flair ein. Vor dem Haus ein Biergarten unter alten Kastanien und einer Linde. Die urige Gaststube rundet das Bild.Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar, dafür werden die Gerichte jeweils von einem Koch frisch zubreitet, der sein Handwerk versteht. Ordentliche Getränkekarte aber nicht überkandidelt. Die Preise sind der Lage angemessen und akzeptabel.Wir kommen immer gern hierher zum Abschluss einer Wanderung in der schönen südlichen Ammerseegegend.Parkplätze auf der Straße vor dem Wirtshaus."

"Have ordered food today for self-collection. Pizza, pasta with salmon and a salad. The dishes were very well packed and therefore still hot after a 10 minute walk home on the Radl. The portions were plentiful, so the hungryest was filled. Everything was excellent, especially the noodles were sensational! 5 stars, by the next time!"

"Ach, könnte ich doch nur länger in Weilheim bleiben-dann würde ich jeden Tag bei Emporio essen, damit ich endlich mal ALLES probieren kann. So komme ich immer nur zur gemischten Vorspeise, die einfach wunderbar, vielseitig und eine grosszügige Portion ist. Dann, "Spaghetti Carbonara"...davon träume ich dann mindestens ein Jahr lang hier in USA, bis ich es wieder schaffe in Weilheim meine Schwester zu besuchen, und dann auf geht's zum Emporio. Ohne Witz, ich träume vom guten italienischen Essen dort. Ich kann Deutschland nicht verlassen ohne wenigstens einmal dort zu essen. Die Pasta, der Speck, das Olivenöl, alles ist einfach so gut, das gibts hier leider nicht. Schluchz! Der Service freundlich, schnell, und der Kellner aufmerksam und einfach nett. Alles passt. Bis zum nächstenmal, Emporio! Bis dahin schaue ich nur auf Eure Speisekarte am Internet und träume....."

"Location The Oberbayerische Kreisstadt Weilheim lies picturesquely between Munich and Garmisch Partenkirchen in the Alpenvorland. Ideal starting point in the neighbouring region Starnberger Fiveseen and the mountain world of the Alps. The Greek restaurant Korfu is located in the middle of the old town. Outdoor exhibitors with fresh fish offerings. Ambience With a glass wind you reach the interior. The tables are already covered. Blue tablecloths, white medium blankets, pepper and salt shakers, brass candlesticks and orange paper napkins. The blue wooden chairs with red upholstery, the wall paintings, the Greek relief paintings, statues and the large planting bowls in the window niches give the restaurant the typical tavern charm. Place is for approx. 50 people, divided into smaller separate areas. Service The male service is a response from the guest, whether or not. Without eye contact, he murmurs his standard flakes. The plates are wound and skillfully applied. Food Convinced by the fish range we chose the homemade fish soup (3,50 €), the spinach-filled Kalamari (8,50 € and the fish plate (14,50 €). The cooking time of all dishes was the purest "Morse Alphabet". The fish soup was too cold (too short cooking time). The salad was completely softened (too long. The Kalamari were too delicious (boiled too short or too long), the vegetables were pale and colourless (boiled too long). The implementation of all dishes was complete (SOS). The neighboring tables that had ordered typical Greek dishes were completely satisfied and the restaurant was well visited. Conclusion: Do not always believe the shields in front of the door, but look at the plate on the adjacent table"

"This place is really unique. Á real family situation:friendly people, pure tradition (photos of family and special people past on the walls), the food is flavorful, generous, beautifully presented, waitresses in dirndls: like being on a film set!! A must when in Bavaria. Located in the heart of Weilheim on the cobblestoned square with fountain. The rooms are spotless, each different, quaint and cool! A real experience with the warm-hearted owner and his almost 90 yr. old mom, who runs the place. The prices are extremely reasonable. A great experience."
