"The hamlet can be found on the beautiful Mediterranean vineyard marketplace. Since the restaurant is always very well visited, especially young and hip audiences, it is highly recommended to book, especially from afternoons. Besides, it makes like a friend and I, and on his free day goes here early for breakfast. We took place outside the area, which is in French bistro style. Here below the historical St. Laurentius Church with a view of the castles Windeck and Wachenburg, which drone on the opposite hills, can be comfortably stayed. In addition to various breakfast options, you can also eat tasty lunch here, except the richly-equipped solid menu, there is a changing cheap lunch table and fresh market dishes from asian to regional dishes to exotic dishes. Whether sweet or hearty here should be for everyone, you can find crepes, cakes etc. on the map as well as tapas or a whole fish. Fruity cocktails, homemade lemonades, small hunger or great appetite...... here hardly remains a wish open. When taken at the table place, one scans the QR code and immediately appears the richly-equipped menu, but did not seem so easy to congratulate everyone, the older couple at the neighboring table had so his problems with it, and needed help, unfortunately the service staff was apparently a little bit angry with Us much already bought the decision due to the great selection of breakfast offers genuinely hard. everything was nicely arranged with fresh fruit served on a dark, big slate plate, and delicious. Sun, nice society, beautiful views, delicious food so begins for me a perfect start to the day, just like that day."

"After a warm day at the beach bath with friends, we spontaneously decided to return to the marketplace and let our beautiful day end together. As almost always, all gastro plants around the Mediterranean marketplace were very, very well visited. Here it's always hard to get a place spontaneously. But this time we should be lucky, just when we arrived a 4 table in the outdoor area was free. Simple tables and wooden chairs, however with thick, pretty seat cushions and therefore very comfortable. A large parasol donated us shadows and the Lampions were switched on at an advanced hour, which enchanted a magical atmosphere. The very small interior of the restaurant is also cosy and modern. The menu is not rugged, offering always 2 menus of it 1 vegetarian, with some classic carvings, onion rust roasts...... and, depending on the season, changing various daily dishes borillas, beef pork asian, asparagus in the dough shell, chestnut soup, spinach mushroom whirlpool....... Even if we had a lot of irritated onions, then we decided to: calfsrückensteak with Macadamia thyme crust with potato parmesanstampf, mangold and cognac sauce very, very tasty. Viennese schnitzel with lukewarm potato salad, radishes, cucumbers and cranberry meat cuts very thin on demand with accompaniment tastefully but good. When dessert gönnted 2 of us still a dessert not for nothing you say that best comes to the end, here should be remembered this time again. Passion fruit cream brulee with coconut ice cream, grilled mango and limes an exotic dream, better doesn't go! Chocolate tart with raspberry sorbet, pistachios and freshly decorated berries were very well served on. A small Fauxpas is unfortunately not a fixed contact person to the staff, but changing 3/4 different people then happens. The Amuse Bouche was forgotten, on demand for which the small plates and knives are, that was then served as the main dish. But overall very friendly and accommodating, despite the great visitor storm. Beautiful coherent overall concept."

"Very nice Italian restaurant on the picturesque Weinheimer Marktplatz . The mountain road is also often referred to as Germany's Toscana, which is particularly felt here in Weinheim. Even early in March, almond trees, forsythias and magnolies flourish here and enchant with their scent and the airy, colorful flower dresses. On sunny warm days, starting in the very early spring and during the late autumn, you can almost feel fantastic in the outdoor area as in an Italian piazza. Last but not least that is why the places in all restaurants around the historic marketplacetes are desirable and you should reserve especially in the evening to not be disappointed. In the case of the ferrarese brothers, which lead the restaurant together, all those lovers of Italian cuisine will be joined, who expect more than just pizza and pasta, but there are also only some examples of delicacies, e.g. fried quails, filled pigeons, fish soup, rock mushrooms from the grill, lamb variations, various fish and seafood, filled pork feet, homemade Cassata............... supplemented by seasonal changing dishes duck, goose, ravioli filled with fresh walnuts, artichokes., rose-butted mousse.... Already when reading the menu, the water flowed in our mouth and we should not be disappointed. Although it was very cozy and stylishly furnished in the restaurant, modern art besides family photos, we decided to take place in the beautiful outdoor area of the restaurant. Comfortable basket braid chairs with thick seat cushions, large parasols and old trees with excavating tree crowns which gave us shadows, here read well. So we enjoyed this evening: mixed antipasti plate varied from the filled Sepia to Bruschetta to Vitello tonato many small delicacies. Rabbit Toscana swollen rabbit with vegetables and garlic in tomato/wine sauce with homemade pasta and salad delicious delicate rabbits, great seasoned perfectly fresh bar-saving gel with roasted duck breast and castle potatoes super. At the end, it had to be my absolute favorite dessert Zabaglione, especially as this wonderful ital. Wine cream not found on the menu at any Italian is served here fresh. The Zabaglione came still slightly warm and was served with ice cream and fresh berry fruits a dream My beloved had chosen homemade tiramisu, with 2 Espressi forming the culinary conclusion of this beautiful, warm spring evening. Tutto fantastico."

"Directly on the Mediterranean graceful marketplace, below the St. Laurentius Church and the beautiful castle park, in the middle of the picturesque old town necessarily seeworthy Gerbergasse best in guided costume/bladeguide through the old town. The thief hole offers good-bourgeois cuisine with regional impact cooking cheese carvings, odenwälder Bauernbratwurst weekly.... and seasonal specialities. We took in the pretty outdoor area under large parasols space indoor area only quite limited seating offer and quite tight, rustic but still appealing furniture Even if the seats in the outdoor area were simply held, they were comfortable by the thick seat cushions. In addition, warming blankets were available for the evening hours. With Fassbrause Rhababer and Waldmeister and chilled cyclist, we made a look at something on the menu for food : Our choice fell on : Rumpsteak with fresh puffs, bacon, onions and cocktail tomatoes with rosemary spices and salad very harmonious and tasty, the Rumpsteak medium as ordered. Matjes by housewife type with roast potatoes crusty roast potatoes and delicious fish, large portion of everything matched. Cheese carvings with fries and cranberries good for dessert: chocolate cakes with hot core, fresh berry fruits and ice super, better does not go apple cubes with cinnamon and sugar in vanilla sauce what should I say, it tasted like with my grandma so fantastic and woke childhood memories."

"Located in the idyllic small Weinheimer district Steinklingen. After a curly ride through the Gorxheimertal and Oberflockenbach, we reached the quite remote Gasthof Zur Suppenschale. We had already had a lot of good stuff so we went on the way to see if our acquaintances should keep right. You said here you could still have reasonable prices, eat big portions delicious and drink, like Anno can't be told twice, so we went on a fall night. The current inn was once built in 1721 as a reformed school. Today you can enjoy carvings, onion roasts, rag steaks ...... seasonal specialties taste puffs, pumpkin dishes, pumpkin dishes....... or regional dishes eat pancakes. Some desserts are mainly ice-sweet. We were very kindly greeted and accompanied to our reserved table. The tables were covered according to the season autumn, with some small ornamental aprons, lampion flower flowers, colour matching tablecloths, napkins and candles. These were also lit before we were given the menus and asked for our drinks. Otherwise, the place is rustic, almost something bodice. We had to taste: pork steak Delfter type pork steak baked with tomatoes, fresh mushrooms and abundant cheeses to it, crispy roast potatoes and a mixed, colorful salad very tasty and with 13.00 euros damn cheap as I find. The price performance ratio here is phenomenal, e.g. Schnitzel, Pommes and Salat 11,00 Euro ; grill plate with roast potatoes and salad 13,00 Euro you feel almost returned to the good old DM time and this with generous portions which also sown the strongest man. The place is run by mother and son, still almost everything is made and that is also tasted, on Convenience products are widely decorated. Here you are looking for unusual molecular techniques and textures Espuma, spories, nitrogen balls.... forgives, for this you will find authentic home cooking. In the large beautifully green outdoor area of the restaurant you will find a nice place for everyone in the warm season. On the day of action there are steam noodles with potato soup to eat as much as you want, with this dish comes sentimentality with me, this always made my grandma when we came to visit and it tasted sensationally good in the summer. Therefore, the next visit is already planned to try these steam noodles, because even though I have already baked them myself according to the original recipe of Grandma with beautiful thick, crispy salt crust on the ground I have not even got them as good as my grandma back then."

"family-run restaurant with attached small hotel in a beautifully restored factory house Anno 1680, right on the market square. In November/December, the picturesque Christmas market is just in front of the front door on weekends. Also many of the other Weinheimer Sights Castle, Exotenwald., Gerberviertel.... are not far away, and from here you can easily walk. Offered is a seasonal kitchen carving from butternut pumpkin, duck breast ., asparagus in dough coat ....... , regional dishes but also vegetarian and vegan dishes Red Bete Carpaccio with orange vinaigrette, Jackfruit Cocos Curry, pumpkin burgers ......... as well as salads, soups, burgers, meat, fish dishes, desserts. In addition, there is a changing daily menu with special recommendations of the kitchen . I also had the opportunity to enjoy the excellent catering of the restaurant during a company celebration. Today I made it cozy among the big, shady trees. But also in the interior of the restaurant there is a cosy amusement. As Amuse Gueule there were cheeses with herbs and liquors from the kitchen crew, a nice impression of what should follow. Then there was for me: Duett von Scampi and Jakobsmuschelen with a nut crust in lobster sauce, band noodles and fresh vegetables and fresh vegetables. a fine black roots high quality products, all harmoniously matched very good The dishes were arranged decoratively on tasteful, square plates., a pleasure for the eye. As dessert, I glowed 3 balls of ice: salted caramel, egg liqueur and burnt almond all very well, with a milk coffee with fluffy milk foam. Happy and satisfied I followed my way home."

Maharaja Indisches Restaurant

"The Maharaja in Weinheim was noticed by an ad to the new opening in August 2016 in one of the free weekly sheets, which regularly land in the mailbox free of charge with advertising. Unfortunately, there has not been enough for a visit, there has been no criticism of GastroGuide since the entry. On 30.10., however, there was an opportunity for a visit, i.e. from Weinheim. The Maharaja is located in a corner house in the Weinheim Old Town. Parking is possible with a bit of luck directly at the restaurant or as we are located above the old town on a free car park, at least in the evening, with a five-minute walk over the marketplace to the restaurant. The visitor can enjoy a glimpse of the front guest room and the counter through its floor-deep windows to the street side. Maharaja Weinheim 001} We had reserved what proved not necessary this evening. The front guest room for about 30 people completely empty, in the rear conservatory with space for also good 30 people 3 tables with 12 guests occupied. In the front guest room, a right hand receives the purist white counter with black applications. The guest room is painted in a bright ochre cream tone, ceilings, door frames and pillars as well as wall shelves are kept in bright white. For this purpose in the lower wall area an equally white wood cladding. Matching the light brown laminate floor. The tables are minimalist covered with white tablecloths, white fabric napkins, cutlery and a candle. White wooden chairs with blue-patterned seat and back cover as well as a continuous seat bench held in the same shade on a wall side round off the image. 2 – 3 pictures with Indian motifs on the walls, otherwise any decoch, we like it. Through the front guest room you reach the rear guest room, the winter garden, via a short walk and four steps. In the presentation and furnishing identical to the front, but here the floor with medium-brown tiles and a floor depth glazing with view over the roofs of Weinheim and the Burgruine Windeck. The modern and clean toilets in the cellar are accessible via a longer sandstone staircase, for disabled people this could be difficult. The ambience, if it may seem sober compared to other Indian restaurants, please, 4 . We were kindly greeted by three Indian, male service personnel, confirmed our reservation, left free space on account of the occupancy and guided there after our choice for the rear guest room. The candle on the table was lit, the cards were placed in a dark synthetic leather cover and asked if we would like to order Geränk. After a pleasant waiting period, the order was received, the dishes served at the same time, in between asked if everything was right or if we wanted something else. The payment process also took place without waiting time with reasonable credit. For the service therefore 4 . Ordered a Cola 0.4l/3,50 , a yeast wheat 0.5l/3,80 , a mixed appetizer plate for two persons 12,50 and as main dish Chicken Jalfraizie 15,90 and Khumbi Matter Paneer 13,50 . To do this, Garlic Naan 2,80 and again Chees Naan 3,50 . The complete menu can be viewed on the homepage. The appetizer plate consisted of baked onion rings, samosa's dough pockets with peas and potatoes, Pakora's baked vegetables in chickpea pastry and Paneer Pakora's Indian cream cheese, baked in chickpea pastry. Majors were already the three extra rich dips of Mixed Pickles, Minzsoße and Mangochutney, with the latter in the glass also going through as jam. However, all three dips have tasted, none of them have a new-lived highlight but no failure. Maharaja appetizer tips The appetizers have been freshly made for us now I dare to doubt from economic aspects, they have tasted definitely, therefore 3.5 . The main dishes were served in small aluschälchen on a hot plate, pleasant that the plates for the main bites were well preheated to the table. A large bowl of loose basmati rice and a basket with four pieces of Garlic Naan. Maharaja Jalfrazie r Khumbi Mater Paneer l Maharaja Reis und Naan Mein Chicken Jalfrazie Hünchenfleisch in spicy curry sauce with onions, garlic, tomatoes, carrots and paprika absolutely top. Delicious chicken meat, carrots and paprika still with slight bite, with a spicy/piquant sauce in sufficient amount which already spread an Indian aroma in the small peel. Also my wife was thrilled by her veggie dish Khumbi Matter Paneer Champigons with homemade fresh cheese, green peas, onions, tomatoes and spices. The sauce mildly spicy with the typical Indian flavors, fresh mushrooms and also the other ingredients clearly recognize and tasty. I could also like the court if I didn't miss the meat deposit. However, since it is not about me also 4 . Both the Garlic and the Cheese Naan were nicely baked without being burned, from the taste both variants kept what they promised from the map 3.5 . Both tastefully and from the look we could convince us the food therefore also here 4 . There was no need for cleanliness in the restaurant or on the toilets, therefore 4 . The conclusion of the overall impression can therefore only be read: 4 – happy again, we have found a second Indian in the area that you can not only visit again but also recommend. 1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – necessarily back to kitchen trip."

"very good Vietnamese restaurant in the 2 Burgen Städtchen Weinheim. On-site parking is provided. The indoor area is bright and friendly. Many asian wood furniture, from the ceilings hanging all kinds of colorful exotic lampions, on the window benches spray additionally orchids asian flair. Some seating options in the backyard extend the hotel's seating in the warm seasons. In addition to a wide selection of Vietnamese dishes, for example, Pho Dac Biet; Nom Du Du; Xao Sa Ot ; Pho Dau Phu.................., also Thai foods are offered, for example, currys, pasta dishes......... as well as Japanese sushi and sashimi, Asian soups and delicious cocktails and homemade lemonades here should probably be served everyone who loves Asian cuisine.
