"Although we need to report both plus points and minus, it is certainly the case that you want to get there early because they can and sell, and the line can be long. At the opening on Sunday morning the line was already out of the door. Portions are big. $44.51 bought a large tray of burned ends, turkey, jalapeno cheddar sausage, two St. Louis style ribs, sides of apple cake baked beans and Mac 'n cheese, an additional pint of beans, a beer and a refillable soft drink. We estimate that this plate would easily satisfy 8 hungry adults. POSITIVEN: The slightly glazed ribs are sensational. The meat separates cleanly at the bite, and the glaze is light enough to shine through the full taste of the meat. The abrasion at the burned ends is underlined according to Texas standards, which in turn allows to fully enjoy the taste of the meat. The meat is delicate and slightly cut. The Mac 'n cheese has a beautiful pepper taste that makes it distinctive, and the infusion of apple in the baked beans also gives this venerable BBQ dish a tasty twist. NEGATIVEN: As long as you stay well from ruin, the slices of turkey are moist and tasty. Today, however, the ruin was badly applied, and the flesh bordered on the bark tasted like pure salt. These things happen and we would not hesitate to order the turkey again in hope of a better outcome. Finally, the Jalapeno cheddar sausage is, and the membrane is thick enough to remove plastic utensils. We were able to look through with steak knives that had to run out in Fairness in many BBQ facilities. Overall, there are potentials here, but they have to iron out a few bends. We would rate this number 4 of the 9 'cue joints that we have sampled on this trip."
