"Great customer service. The place was a little cramped and I did not care for the TV that did not fit in such a small space. Even the tortillas and pitas were in the dining area for everyone to see. They have to get rid of the TV if they want to create a nicer ambiance. The food was not bad. If I come again I will try different items from the menu. I had clam chowder and a shrimp/potato taco. The clam chowder had a pillowy texture that put me off, but it had good flavor. The taco had way more potato than shrimp. I'm not sure if potato and shrimp make a good combo, but I think I prefer either shrimp or potato, but not together. For tacos of any kind, I would rather make my own at home. When I go out to eat, tacos are the last thing on my mind. I love clam chowder, but this one was not my favorite"

"My first time here. It was upset because I heard so many good things. Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast ordered. Meat had another taste I didn't like. I thought chicken roast steak had a crunchy bread. No bread and no crispy. So much heaviness they thought I didn't realize it wasn't a chicken fried. Fried potatoes were finally Moshy Haschbraun. My over medium-sized eggs were simple. This next part is probably due to my OCD, but everything floated on gravity. So glad I don't have beans. Couldn't imagine fried beans with land engraving. Service was good. I can't remember the last time I've eaten half a meal. Not sure I will try this place at any time."

"We both had the Rib eye it was so good, perfectly marbled. Our server was not very attentive, she would disappear for a while and seemed a bit chaotic. The food was great. I recommend the Wagon Wheel appetizer, the steak soup and the Rib eye steak, for dessert the mud pie is hands down my favorite."

"This place has great food. Especially the Chili Releno Omlet. Unfortunately I can't say the same for their service. We were there Sunday for breakfast and there were about 30 people waiting to sit down. 11 tables were empty and they were not sitting people. When we finally sat they still had empty tables with dozens of people waiting. We asked for water twice and never got it. Finally my wife went up to the service counter to get the water. Same with our check. Though they have great food, it is diminished by the poor service."

"This place is like one of those slightly more than a 'hole in the wall ' establishments. Tho they have a covered patio (with movable plastic windows when it rains) that 's a decent size. And a little corodor for eating inside, it 's a place that looks like one of those red roof taco bars you find on the coast... And like those kind of places, it 's got that authentic Mexican taco, burrito, enchilada, rice and bean plates, that seem more reserved for nicer sit down restaurants. It 's a good take out place. Just walk in pay, grab and go as others are in line waiting for seats. And they wrap the food well so it was still Very hot when we got it home. I think I saw there 's like 9 of these places, which seemed funny 'cause the food is very much like a one off mom pop shop... try it, you 'll like it."

"Drive thru cashier gave such attitude because I wanted to change my order. It’s 2021 changing an order at the register shouldn’t be that hard. I love Tams and usually they’re very nice but the customer service today wasn’t accommodating."

"Looks better than it tasted. Pretty average chicken noodle bowl. Appreciated the portion of chicken but poor marinade and covered in oil. The steamed egg loaf was reheated in the microwave and over microwaved because it arrived dry. You can see the top dried up . Really expect more out of LA Vietnamese food ."

"the best burritos on the planet. carne asada is always on the point and it is the only place I will ever order a bean and cheese burrito. if they are local and had no burrito track special, their lives are incomplete"

"Hidden gem of a place. Don’t let the rough parking lot fool you. Decent enough portions with a budget that won’t drain your bank account. The only down side was that the place was unable to accept Debit at the time but allowed Venmo, PayPal and cash. There was mention of a cash discount.I ordered pad see ew and my fiancé had Pad Thai.We waited less than 10 minutes for our meals and we can tell they took pride in the presentationVegetarian options: They offered substitution of soft or fried tofu for each item."

"The beer selection is good I love the 3 6pm daily happy hour! Way more worth it cause the beer is a little more expensive. But quality of the German beer was great! The FOOD is where it's at. Theres a happy hour charcuterie for $19 not bad for the price! Not pictured is the bratwurst sampler, it was delicious, SO SO GOOOD. then the lamb stroganoff the sauce, noodles, lamb was such a good balance. I love stroganoff and rarely get it, but this is definitely the spot to get it."

"Had a wonderful lunch of Ribeye Steak, Cheese Toast and Onion Rings. Not only was the food fabulous, the service is outstanding. I also had an interesting conversation with Steve the owner about the restaurant’s origins and the original owner. “Steve Says” definitely a great restaurant and value! Thank you Steak Corral for cooking Lunch for me!"

"Love the sushi here!! They have good quality fish and you can taste the freshness. We live near Uptown Whittier and drive to East Whittier to have sushi at Dakara. There are closer sushi places but they don't compare to this place. Hands down the best sushi in town!!"

"Yummy $15 cocktails!! Packed on a Thursday night too until maybe 10pmish. Amazing service too. This place is a must on your Whittier bar hopping adventures in the area. They also serve food! Ceviche was bigger sharing portions than expected. Mixologist can make drinks not on the menu, such as normal classics too. I visited with a group of identified women. Great place to catch up at, chat and more. Service was excellent to us. We got alot of water refills without having to keep requesting."

"Our family has had De Luca's cater many parties for us until July 1st. Had trouble being on time to pick up our food, when I walked into the restaurant I was scolded over and over and told that I had been called six times and that the food is cold now, by the owner. I was charged $66 for a half a tray of garlic strips which is bread with garlic on it needless to say after being treated like a felon and the exorbitant prices we will never use DeLuca's for catering or a restaurant for dinner or lunch ever again."

"Well this might be a mixed review I got the premium chirashi bowl and it's amazing. I have had many of these bowls at every place I go to and this has been the best. I love it. Beautiful presentation, many types of fishes, and looks amazing. The only thing I would say about it is I wish it had more rice. So I say mixed review because my wife got basic spicy tuna rolls and the rice was kind of hard as if it had been sitting. I think basic rolls like that are made in advance. But that's not stopping me from going there again"

"The outside looks plain but once you get inside it's a Very wonderful old school family restaurant atmosphere. Loved the place and the tempura was delicious. Staff is very friendly and the menu options well organized. Hardest part is picking only one! I'll be back! Parking: Parking on the main street or the garage behind the restaurant Service: Dine in"
