"I visited the Sandbar the other day for the first time to have a drink on their patio. A few things were upsetting to me. I understand there is a pandemic, however I didn’t need to be inundated with this info when I sat down...at a table. I went out to forget what’s going on and was continually reminded of the pandemic from the hostesses to our waitress. I was told they didn’t have menus and I had to use my cellphone and QVC code to look at their menu. I ordered a drink and couldn’t stay bc I was getting eaten alive by mosquitos. Perhaps they can put up some form of meshing to block the bugs that are breeding in the water around their patio. I was going to order food, but the environment was very uncomfortable for me. I’m sorry, I won’t be returning."

"I was in town for the Chris Tucker and Dave Chappelle show and decided to grab a bite to eat at this restaurant nearby. Although they were out of the catfish filet poboy that I initially wanted, I ended up ordering the shrimp sandwich instead. It was delicious, loaded with perfectly battered and fried shrimp, served on crispy French bread with a nice dressing. As a first-time visitor, I would definitely return. The ice cream I had for dessert was also a pleasant surprise, as they still offered dipped cones, which are hard to come by."

"Unfortunately, I don't make good reviews enough, but when I left this place tonight, my night was made. They screwed up my order, which really doesn't happen so often, but I gave it back and told them because I know how most workers act when that happens. Tonight the manager came up and joked with me and apologized sincerely. I made my night totally! I didn't catch her name, but she wore a purple shirt and a yellow scarf. Five stars for great attitude and great customer service, this is something that is extremely rare at McDonald's!"

"This place is unassuming...until you pull up and smell what's cooking. If you don't eat pork make sure you say no pork. They put it on everything.The staff is nice and they are frequented by all kinds of people. I'm not a fan of their sweet tea but the food is excellent. The menu is very basic and I love that.They only have outdoor dining but it's covered. I like that they have tacos and omlettes in the morning. Yes... they open early in the morning and close early as well.If you want food that tastes homemade like it was prepared at the cookout, this is the place. When I think of southern food, LA 23 is the place to be!"

"Plenty of people brag on these burgers, however, they are lackluster. The burger was overcooked and the bacon was undercooked. Try it the other way around please. Bacon was a $2.50 up sale, however, I would have paid an additional $2.50 to keep the 2 slices of bacon OFF. Meat had no seasoning, none. The fries lacked salt too, I bet you the lack of salt on their food is to extended the foods life under a heat lamp. I have tried these burgers multiple times since moving here in 2012. They've been bland ever since! Good Luck eating there."

"Went to Salvo's Seafoid restaurant on Good Friday. I understood that it being GF that service would be backed up and longer then usual. I understand that but I did expect my food to be good tasting. I didn't order anything hard like Oyster Rockefeller or the cure for cancer. I ordered a New Orleans Belle Chasse staple....a catfish and shrimp plate with fries and a side salad. So many lower level restaurants have made this plate very well. Even Brothers gas station made this well. I was expecting greatness but what I got was everything tasting old and greasy. As if it was sitting under a heating lamp. OMGOODNESS yuck."

"I'm out here working with Plaquemines Parish Fire/EMS, and this restaurant was recommended to me by a few people.Being from Arizona, you can walk down any street, and someone's Tia is selling tamales from her front yard. So, I'll be honest and say that I have high expectations for Mexican food.After eating here, I must say I was SUPER impressed. The aesthetics and atmosphere were wonderful. The bathrooms were super clean. And the food was top notch! I DEFINITELY recommend. 10/10! Photo is the steak chimichanga."

"Just Eh…Have not eaten here in quite some time. Ordered pick up of meat pizza which did look very good. Other order was the Popeye and added mushrooms and tomatoes. The toppings were scant, especially the added ones at $2.50 each. Probable had 6-8 small mushroom pieces and as many tomatoes. Toppings started a full 2+ inches from the edge. I usually enjoy pizza crust but threw it out as it had no taste at all. Ordered a spinach cranberry side salad but changed the dressing to balsamic.Watched an employee check every box against the order and still wound up with the wrong dressing AND old gross spinach. Brought it back. They opened a new bag of spinach, and even though the container was again inspected, this time I inspected myself. Wrong dressing again.Quality control needs work. Pizza was tasty except that the toppings covered only the size of maybe a medium pizza. May be another long time before I try them again."

"Visits were for lunch during our business trip. 18 April 2023 had a Chicken Teriyaki Salad. 20 April 2023 a 6” Chicken Teriyaki Sub on pita and a drink. This location of course stays business for lunch unless you leave off the installation, however I was impressed. Location is clean, staff professional, pleasant, and got the in-house and to go orders done quickly. They have a good system to tackle the lunch crowd. Food was good and correct temperature. If back in area again, will stop back."

"Dined on a recent weekday for dinner with a work group of four very different individuals. We each ordered two rolls with the agreement to split and couldn't have been happier. Service from start to finish was good timely and friendly. A few of the rolls didn't hold too well when picked up with chop sticks, but that isn't enough (in my opinion) to dock a star. Beverages were always topped off. Bathrooms were clean."

"Service in this place was once great, not one of the customers around me, also I, received a greeting or a how can I help you? Tacos we are so delicate that the bottom of the shell dropped and the temperature seemed very low. The friend I picked up the job for life 5 houses so I can honestly say that they were not too long in the car to reach the low temperature. We threw them away to be safe."

"The food is normally good or ok, I normally enjoy the seafood soup but on my latest visit I tired the shrimp enchiladas, it was not bad but also was not anything to write home about. I will say the service was the most lacking thing about this meal, especially since we were never asked for refills or if we needed we just had wait with payment in hand until we were acknowledged."
