"The ambiance was marginal. The decor was sparse and dark. Lighting was stark. The food was adequate. My pasta was barely warm. I sent it back to be reheated. The taste of the pasta was good! "We love the Vintage House. It did not disappoint us. The food was fabulous and the variety in the menu was great. Our waitress was new but did a fantastic job. I love being able to make a reservation. Of all the Messina Hof locations, the one in Bryan is the best. It’s nice but not stuffy. You can go in casual business or game day attire. The view is so pretty and relaxing. Great photo opportunities. Don’t miss this gem- you’ll want to go back once you’ve tried it"

"Just had one of the best dinners ever. Cole was our server and was excellent! Very knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. We initially had our eyes on filets but we ended up both electing the specials, I had the sea bass and my husband had the pork tenderloin. The sea bass came with a lobster and corn risotto and brocolini and my husband's pork loin name with rice, zucchini, and slaw (but not cole slaw like what you were thinking it was much better). My husband says that the blue cheese olives (for his dirty martini) were most excellent. This was out first visit and even though it's over 50 miles from home, it won't be our last visit. Highly recommend for a date night or special occasion."

"The joint doesn’t really stand out when you drive past but the burgers are one of the best burgers in B/CS! We finally got a chance to stop by for lunch today and gotta say it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a great burger and fries/onion rings! We ordered the mushroom Swiss and regular cheeseburger then a side of rings and fries. Everything was delicious! Had some different offerings on the menu but since they’re known for the burgers we saved the other items for another visit. Must try their jalapeño ranch dip also if you like a little spice in your food. Small little place that doesn’t seem like a bar from the outside, but inside is a chill typical Texas bar. Order at the counter/bar and find an open table. Staff was extremely friendly, Ms Barbara was great! Definitely recommend, a must try!"

"I went to get some breakfast at around 10:15 am. As always Chick-fil-A was full. However, this time it seemed like they were struggling to keep up. I don’t know what was happening but closer to 10:30 am people came out from the back and started helping. Maybe it was shift change? I don’t know but eventually I got my food. I have been here a couple of times and it feels like sometimes they can’t keep up with people as much as the location in Texas Avenue. That’s the only reason it is 4 stars. Everything else tastes just as good."

"Great food with a great atmosphere! They had the best roasted mozzarella I ever had and a delicious $5 frozen watermelon Margerita! The make-your-own pizza was expensive (we ordered 7 toppings) but tasted really good and definitely had a lot of toppings we ordered! Large texture on the dough also! And I'm not a big fan of the burned parts signature to a wood-fired pizza, but I could pick up or remove these parts so I never noticed! The bread and the garlic oil were also great. Everything we ate (plus a little salt) was delicious."

"The food is totally worth the visit I was very impressed with the straightforward, yet unexpected deliciousness I experienced with my chicken parm. I was excited to enjoy some carbs and was disappointed not to receive any bread until we were over halfway done with our meal. There is a yummy olive oil and balsamic dipping dish, yet we had to ASK to receive any well after receiving our bread. The service was disappointing, but I do think this was isolated to our server, as others looked much more engaged and attentive to other parties."

"We had Josh as a waiter and he was extraordinary. He was super funny and very friendly. He was definitely the one who made the experience with his funny jokes a great experience. We had a big conversation and he was honest with good options on the menu like the pad Thai. Overall, I was very happy with his service. The reason I didn't give this place was 5 stars because, although Josh?s service was beyond great, the food was subpar. I enjoyed the pad Thai and fried rice most but the sushi and the General Tsos was definitely not my favorite. The food came a little cold and did not meet my expectations. At the end of our experience there was a small mistake on our bill and Josh took his time to deal with the problem with integrity. He remained positive and enthusiastic throughout the experience. TLDR: Josh was an amazing waiter and person overall, the food is what brought my rating down."

"This is the best barbecue in the Bryan/College Station area in my opinion! There is literally nothing on this menu that you could order that is bad. I love the brisket with the cole slaw, but the absolute winner is the candied pork belly. I really did not know what to expect with it, but it's the most delightful thing I've ever tried at a barbecue place. The service here is always great and it's in a wonderful location in downtown Bryan. I can't wait to come back!"

After it was delivered by a door dasher whose phone number was invalid), we discovered that $18 worth of sides were missing. By this time, Mr G was closed, so we left a message on their website. Never heard back. The pizza is good, but not worth $54 for a single pizza. They could make this right by refunding the cost of the missing food, the delivery charge, and the tip for order #2CFB087C."

The bread was handmade! The balance of spices and meat and tzatziki placed into this bread was lovingly considered. Honestly, I could go on and on. …. And I will!!!
