"I had hopes for this spot, but we were underwhelmed at best. The service was timely, parking was easy, and indoor/outdoor seating options were nice. There was some self serve water, too. On the other hand, there was a noticeable chemical smell that led us to choose outdoor seating. My partner noted that the smell was actually less present in the bathroom. Here's my review of the gelato and cookie we tried: straccialla: nothing that necessarily stood out, but solid; smooth but not creamy dark chocolate: true to the name, deep and slightly bitter chocolate flavor; also smooth but not creamy the wafer was a nice textural touch smores cookie: I was really looking forward to this, but from the first bite, it tasted off chemical like. The chocolate chunks seemed fine, and possibly the marshmallow bits alone, but the cookie itself had a pretty worrying aftertaste. We opted to toss it rather than risk any stomach issues later."
