"The avocado salad was terrible. It was cut up ice rug lettuce with two slivers of avocado already starting to brown and a small cup of lemonjuice! Definitely not worth the money and a complete rip off. So darn cheap! The chimichanga my boyfriend had was really good though. Only reason I gave 2 stars"

"I visited D'Lux to church (a little after 1:00) with my family. We had a wonderful time, food was great and waiters were excellent, but managers were very disrespectful. There was a Caucasian woman in front of us and no one in the register to check us out. The manager came by and asked the woman if she was helped and the woman said yes. The manager then went away without asking my family, and I when we were helped (my family is African American by the way). My brother politely called back the manager and informed him that we needed help and the manager looked at us with disgust when he made his way back to the register. My husband gave the manager his bank card and the reception. The manager grabbed my husband's card and the reception from his hand. I felt despised. As already mentioned, the food and waiters were great, but the manager has a bad taste in our mouth and unfortunately we will not eat here again."

"On my Double Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese Meal when I asked for extra pickles. They put EXTRA pickles and I love that because usually they just put the normal amount but I love my pickles. They made the fries nice and crispy and it was delicious."

"I was visiting the area from the Bronx today. I decided to stop in before going back homebased on these reviews. This place EXCEEDED my expectations. As a Bronx native, I am surrounded by Dominican Puerto Rican restaurants. This place is BETTER than most local places I've eaten at in terms of authenticity. Everything was cooked to perfection. The Pernil was not dry or overwhelming with oregano like most places. The flavors were just right. The habichuelas tasted like Abuelitas. They even had little pedazos of papas which I loooooved because that's what brings it home! If you know, you know! Absolutely worth the price. I like to enjoy my food and not have to compromise flavor or quality for cost. Definitely will be back when I travel up north again."

I tried asking door dash if I could delete the poor review but they said it is not possible, so I am sorry about that original poor review and take responsibility for it. "I went to the restaurant with my son for lunch. The seating area was clean, the staff was nice, but the chairs were not comfortable with my little one, they wished cabins. The size of pizza slices was very large, but not the greatest quality. The pizza was limp, and extremely thin and my cheese was slipping off, but the sauce was great. I wouldn't go to get pizza from here."

"Never heard of this place before but figured I'd try it. I was not disappointed. The Nachos Deluxe were great. They were loaded with meat, chilies, tomatoes , guacamole, and sour cream. It made Taco Bell's nachos look like a school lunch . Will definitely be trying other menu items."

"I had PJs Soul food recently and I had the fried chicken with candied yams and white rice. I also had a taste of their fried fish. My husband had the oxtails with peas and rice with the collard greens. We found their food very delicious and fulfilling. It wasn’t salty and we would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for some down home soul food. Everything was fresh made to order. I had the sweet potato pie for dessert. It was good as well and it was given to me hot."
