"I am an original boatbuilder of the replica half moon ship built in Albany and featured as a cover photo on this restaurant?s menu so I was excited to eat at this establishment. The atmosphere is vintage dinner appeal with lots of chrome highlights. Thedining area is spacious and able to accommodate moderate size groups of diners. The staff provides quick and efficient service.I selected a broiled fisherman?s plater that looked like a fair amount of food. The food however was tasteless and was obviouslyfrozen not fresh. The sole was cold on the bottom and not palatable. The scallops were absolutely tasteless and rubbery. Theclams were flavored only by the spices on it. What a shame to put this plate of food on the table. I spoke with patrons whomordered the same dish and reported a similar disappointment. This meal is neither something a person should eat nor should therestaurant try to pass it off as something to sell. Very disappointing experience for lunch."

"we have not set ourselves to our reservation time by 45min. server was terrible. she only commanded one of our three correctly. children's pizza was badly burned so they had to make another one. wife ordered burger without cheese no speck. it came with both. sent back and 2 minutes later another came out. it was hardly warm, so where did they get it? server never asked if we wanted more drinks. my drink sat for last 3/4 empty when our meal. very disappointing night to eat at one of our favorite places."

"Pretty good pizza! An 8 slice pizza was $12.50 and comes with a 2 liter soda. The pizza was decent, I ordered a whole pie so it was nice and fresh when we got it. Their specialty slices looked great too, I wish I tried some! The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating, nice atmosphere and plenty of parking around back"

"The Sliders.. I had mine with ketchup and pickles and they were by far 100% the best I've had ever had the pleasure to eat and also you can't beat a slider that fills you up for 3 bucks and some change. Definitely 1 of the 5 spots to go to in the 518. Bartenders hook it up as well. Great food. Great service. Great people. Thank you."

"Nice little ride in a way from the 87 with quite good food. Ordnete the Chili cheeseries because it is something I have enjoyed for years in Southern California and have not really seen in many places in the northeast, so was very eager to try. The frits were good, and I make it a point to try Clam Chowder when I see it offered on a menu wherever I go, this place is no exception. Your Clam Chowder was decent, I definitely had worse, but it could have been much better. Apart from the fact that the burger my friend had was really good and I can't wait to go back this summer to try out their ice cream and dessert selections."

"We checked out Ravenswood Pub before a show at Proctors and had an awesome time. I ordered the fish fry a solid choice. Standard pub fare, but they understood the assignment. Another in my party got the hot turkey dinner enjoyed it too. The mashed potatoes were on point and it came with pub stuffing (a bit salty) and came with another side and a salad to boot. The atmosphere at Ravenswood was a typical pub. A bit noisy, but it's a large place. They had a live music duo playing tunes and TVs all over the place. Sunday's are for football and it's an official Bills Backer board. All in all, Ravenswood is a solid choice."

"I got a salad bowl with chicken and other stuff. Chicken was a wide range of overcooked/dry to properly cooked, though not really seasoned..Word of warning: their plasticware is NOT rated for salads. By the end most of my fork tines were broken off(despite me trying to be careful)..Most of the soda machine was empty, despite us being there before the dinner rush..Visit was ok' but definitely not what it used to be..Also, they seriously need to rethink how their trash system works. Which is to say...it doesnt. 1 can by front door with only a hole on top too small to fit their current bowls is awful."

"It was regrettable that there was a power failure about 15 minutes after sitting, but that is not the reason for this negative review. I had a voucher for a free appetizer that was ordered and our drinks were just delivered. The power fluttered and then went out and the waitress told us that they would not be able to use the ovens because there was no power, so we decided to leave. We left our drinks on the table (soft drinks) and the server gave us an invoice for $18.00 for the free appetizer we never get and the drinks we did not consume. She told us we had to pay cash since the computers were down. Did she really expect us to stay in the dark and finish our drinks?? We went out. I was very disappointed at how management could handle it. I know that power failures are rare, but I am not inclined to return to this place due to this experience."

"Great food and terrific service. Tom was on the ball regarding wine and made a great presentation with the specials. The red snapper special is highly recommended. My wife ate the scallops and corn, again. It's outstanding. Rocco's is small and popular so reservations are a must, even during the week. She had the Pimm's drink from their list and is still talking about it. Very light and refreshing and tasty. My gin martini was good. Hard to screw up a glass of gin. A great little bar/restaurant with a friendly, local and happy atmosphere."

"Ever since covid its impossible no matter what time of day to eat Herr without a 30 to 45 min wait and once we decided to wait there was maybe 5 tables eating in the dining room. When the server finally came over 10 mins after sitting we gave her are whole order w apps and never saw here again.....apps came and 2.mins after that our burgers it was rushed and disappointing food wasn't awful but everything else was horrible we paid in the little computer thing and sat there with all.our trash in front of us b4 we finally decided to run out of there. I don't know what's going on but I have no idea how they stay in business we definitely won't be going back!"

"UPDATE #2 (7/22/22 : decided to order from Mom on a whim, and her food is again EXCELLENT!!! The pizza was excellent (maybe was incredible). Boneless wings were delicious (Quality Chicken . Also her garlic bread was impressive! I am THRILLED!!! Update: Unfortunately, something has changed (not sure whether it is property, employees, food sourcing, etc., and the quality of food at Mama's has really decreased. The pizza is fat now. The subs are scanned. Your service was not earlier. Very disappointing because this was our way to get out. Just the best pizza I had in the capital. Large selection of other foods also. Prices and service are very good."
