"My family and I just moved to Valdosta from Southern California and really missed authentic Mexican dining. El Barrio didn’t look the part necessarily, but the food was amazing. Service wasn’t stellar but more then capable and very polite. We didn’t get chips and salsa as we waited for our food, we asked for some and got them, just was a little unusual.I would definitely recommend this place. Very good beans and rice. Quesadillas carne asada were great. And the chips and salsa turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the meal."
